Phyn’Ro is facing hurdles unlike most heroes… making for an incredible journey
Phyn’Ro did his time, serving in the Alliance forces, in the war, now he is finding his way in civilian life, as a Monk, where he is struggling with some of his vows, in part because of an intriguing human named Lucy.
There is a lot in this story, beyond the adventure, and determination to build a new life on Jurta, both Lucy and Phyn’Ro, ultimately, are trying to decide if they are content with how they are contributing to those around them, or if there is more they can and should be doing. Neither wants to feel they are hiding or running, and each is trying to find the wisest path forward.
Lucy’s sister Magnolia was interesting at times… and annoying at others as she struggled, in her own way, with learning to care about more than just herself. I am curious if an adventure all her own is in our future.

Another great book in the Champions of Ataxia Series! Phyn’Ro has been a monk for 300 years and is still struggling with his vow’s and training. He meets Lucille, a human, who runs a bakery called Second Helping with her sister Magnolia. Both Phyn and Lucy have been fighting their feelings for 2 years, claiming to be just friends. When there is a murder at the bakery while Magnolia is there alone, their lives are suddenly in great danger. Phyn’Ro takes them to the monistary to keep them safe, but the very first night there, they are kidnapped. Phyn’Ro then meets Tur and Dotti and they embark on a twisted and convoluted journey to rescue Lucy and Magnolia. But alas, their journey is not a simple one. Phyn’Ro must work through his feelings for Lucy and his vow as a monk while trying to stay alive long enough to rescue them. And of course Magnolia is up to mischief along the way as well!!

Well worth reading!
Book 3 of the Champions of Ataxia. I loved the characters of Phyn and Lucy. Lucy is a baker and Phyn is a monk. Lucy opens a bakery with her sister but Phyn a monk can’t get Lucy out of him mind. The adventure with these two starts when a murder happens. They work towards their HEA with plenty of twists, action, chemistry and love. You will want to finish this story in one sitting it is so good. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Book three in the Champions of Ataxia series another very good story in this series it is well written with a very good storyline. This is Phryn is a monk and Lucille a human this is their story of suspense, drama, adventure, twists, turns, and romance. Magnolia her sister also plays a big part in this story I hope she gets her own story. I want to read the next book it looks like it is going to be very exciting. Phyn’Ro is in an order which teaches a path to True Enlightenment. He would go to a cafe just about everyday and sees Lucille to buy from her. They enjoy each others company immensely. There was more simmering beneath the surface. One day there was a murder at Lucille’s cafe. Her sister, Maggie, is somehow involved. They have to leave because they get threatened. Phyn’Ro is going to take them to the island retreat to keep them safe. They are attacked and hide. Lucille and Phyn’Ro finally let their feelings for each other show. Phyn’Ro had doubts of this working because of the differences in their species. Then he finally realizes he must have her in his life. Phun’Ro goes through some battles just to be with Lucille. Even with misunderstandings, can Phyn’Ro and Lucille find a HEA?
I like the cover of the book as it matches the description of the alien. The story starts through the thoughts of the alien. The dreams of the human woman who haunts him and creates a longing through him. Mate. The characters and the plot stay as realistic as possible, which I enjoy. A good read which you need to get to know the ending.

I volunteer to read and review this ARC via Booksprout. Another engaging story which I devoured till the end. There’s angst, life threating adventure, steamy romance with likable characters and touches of humor. Lucille own a bakery which her sister Magnolia works in too. Phryn is a monk who is attracted to Lucille but is struggling with his feelings toward Lucille and his devotion to his order. Lucille also is attracted to Phryn and when dating sets a standard of her dates against the qualities of Phryn. Meanwhile on a walk together to the park, a murder happens in the bakery which her sister Magnolia is a witness. Phryn chooses to save his mate and her sister which starts the adventure with twist and turns and brings our couple closer together during their journey. At the end, will Phryn choose his mate or the order? ARC
Slow and steady might be the best way to build a new relationship if both people are on the same page.
Well thanks to lies somethings get mixed up. When seeking Zenna earthly pleasures are supposed to be given up. Phyn Ro is having trouble mastering that because of Baker.
Lucy has more than one secret but the one closest to has even more and they could prove to be deadly.
I have enjoyed the book.

A energetic romance between a monk and a human. The monk is tortured and indecisive and his love interest is sort of bratty and entitled. The story is full of misunderstanding and making up the horizontal way. I loved it!
Lucille and Phyn were made for each other because neither one of them could see the forest for the trees. So much was right there in front of their faces and they missed it second guessing each other. It was a good book and I really liked secondary character Magnolia and hope she gets a chance to really tell her story as well..

Phyn’Ro is a holy man, a loving spirit, a warrior. Lucy is a baker and Phyn’s best friend. While taking a walk for lunch one day leaving Lucy’s sister in charge of the bakery, someone is murdered, and they have to flee so that they can clear their names.
This takes them on an adventure that neither of them could have imagined and a mission with old friends that is crucial. This is a chapter in the Fractured Worlds that gives us yet another view into the ongoing conflict that does not appear to ever end.
