can be read as a stand alone Skye Walking down the aisle toward my arch enemy wasn’t exactly what I was picturing when I planned out my dream wedding as a little kid. But as I take in his chiseled jaw and sexy smirk, I remember why I agreed to this sham of a marriage. It’s because I’m a glutton for punishment and love a good underdog story, and the more I get to know Liam, the more I can see … get to know Liam, the more I can see that he’s exactly that.
The underdog.
I just hope I’m not wrong about him.
Liam
Marriage is a load of crap and my dad knows it, which is why he insisted I find a wife if I ever wanted to touch my inheritance.
Little does he know, I don’t have a problem getting my hands dirty in order to get what I want. And if I have to use my little brother’s nanny to prove it, I will.
Besides, the girl drives me insane. It’s not like we have anything in common other than our mutual disdain for each other.
This’ll be a walk in the park.
I hope.

My favorite kind of heartache is one that turns a frown right side up. Skye is at the top of that list. Rae takes her gift for humor and brings joy to your heart. From sworn enemies to partners in crime. Liam and Skye turn a marriage of convenience into a heartwarming battle of hearts, humor and chaos. Will their battle of wills be a match made in heaven or heartbreak? Sugar with a generous dose of sentiment makes for an irresistible romance.
Playboy, bachelor, Liam Davis’s only way to obtain his inheritance and get under his fathers thumb is to get married. Skye, is Liam’s young brothers live in nanny. Skye and Liam at have a love hate relationship.
Skye is nothing like the women Liam usually dates. So he is stunned when she volunteers to “marry” him. She brings out the best in him.
Will their “fake marriage” turn into something real.
In case you have never read any of my other reviews for Kelsie Rae’s works, I absolutely adore Jude, the book not just the character. I compare everything she writes to that masterpiece of prose. Usually, I can keep my head held high while saying that Jude is the greatest book and although the others deserve 5 stars (and got them from me) Jude deserves 10. Skye left me questioning that. Skye was that good. It deserved 10 stars. Skye was just soo good! (Yes, I am gushing). The characters were both likeable and hateable at the same time. Skye herself was fun and a little naive which helped the story line along. Liam is an enigma, you don’t quite trust him but you want to. And of course, the recurring character visits are a fun part of the Signature Sweethearts series. Overall, I still love Jude, but Skye is a close second.
I highly recommend Skye by Kelsie Rae and also recommend any of her other Signature Sweethearts series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Skye is the Nanny. Liam is the self proclaimed bad boy who is also the half brother of the boy Skye is Nannying for .
Liam wants his inheritance and his father has told me to grow uo, be responsible, and get married. Because his family is loaded it was easy to find a floozy to be his “fake wife” but she has stipulations of her own and wants half Liams inheritance. When she walks out Skye feels bad for Liam and all the good he has done so she has an out of body experience and finds herself being Liams Fiance.
Before they know it the sham of wedding is happening and they are putting on an amazing show with the kiss especially, then its on to Italy for the Honeymoon.
What happens when feelings develop? What happens when they come back from the honeymoon and have to face real life? Will they be able to get past the secrets and lies?
4.5 Star review of Skye (Signature Sweethearts #8) by Kelsie Rae
Kelsie Rae is a relatively new author to me and I have no idea why that is. I found this book to be entertaining and I was invested from the first to the last chapter. I enjoyed Ms. Rae’s style of writing and found the characters to be easy to relate to and likeable.
This is Skye and Liam’s story and although I really liked Skye from the start, I admit it took a while for Liam to grown on me but thankfully he did and although there were some moments that brought tears to my eyes, throughout the read I couldn’t help but cheer for Skye and Liam to get the happily ever after that they deserved.
What happens when pretend suddenly becomes reality? That’s what happens to Skye and Liam when they come together. The chemistry between them burns brightly, but is it enough for them to take a leap of faith?
This was a sweet, romantic, angsty, at times humorous roller coaster of a read that I didn’t want to put down.
Skye with little Brody was sweet. She treated him like a little brother. Liam, not so much. She wants to save the bad boy and jumped in head first, heart unsafe. He was the sexy charmer that she wanted to protect herself from until he turned up the heat!!! The book make you want to cheer for them and push them together. Made you want to kick Stacy and his dad but then save Skye. It was fun to read and made me happy!
Kelsie really knows how to put the sweetheart part in her stories. She also enjoys making her leading men work for our love and Skye is no exception. I couldn’t put this book down.
Liam and Skye have an awesome chemistry that they don’t want to admit but it’s their banter that made me fall in love with them the most. Skye is such a selfless person and I adore that about her. Liam is a lost soul who needs Skye to find his way. You need to read this book for Brody, the bubblegum, the train ride, and Italy alone. Kelsie reminds us why second chances are necessary for dreams to come true. This story will make you fall in love, laugh out loud and break your heart, but Kelsie will stitch it back together beautifully.

I absolutely loved this book. I couldn’t put it down once I started it. Once again Kelsie did an amazing job playing with my emotions and it has you rooting for the bad boy.
Once again Kelsie Rae knocks it out of the park with her Signature Sweetheart Series! Skye is an amazing person to help Liam, but along the way is put through the ringer! This book is a must read! Tears were shed and in the end my heart was full of love for these two!
