An accidental Vegas wedding, an unfortunate arranged wedding, and Christmas. What could be more festive?Lena:People say I’ve had life served on a silver platter with a flute of sparkling rosé on the side. They’re not wrong, but if I have everything, why do I want Puck so badly? I lusted after my pastry chef two seconds after he applied for the job. My business partner declared work relationships … work relationships off limits one microsecond later. It was probably the sparkle in my eyes. It’s been known to devastate small economies.
But what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Right?
Puck:
Nobody knows where I’ve come from, but they all know where I’m going. Straight to the sugared cherry on top. I’m a pastry god, life of the party, panty-melter extraordinaire. My ridiculously beautiful and wealthy boss is fun to flirt with, but that’s it. No ties, no commitment, no regrets.
Until Vegas.
Fired: A Holiday Romantic Comedy is a stand-alone, full-length romantic comedy with an accidental marriage between boss and employee that is sure to melt your kindle! HEA and no cheating!

Lena and Puck
Loved this book, even if Lena’s family were winding me up.. Lena really was made out to be the black sheep, and loved Puck! Even with his hang ups still only wanted what was best for Lena.

This story was amazing from start to finish. Lena is the wealthy co-owner of the restaurant in which Puck is the pastry chef. There is an intense attraction between them that results in a drink wedding in Vegas. The story follows them as they try to decide whether or not to pursue each other. I love when she takes Puck home for the holidays as her fake boyfriend who’s already her husband. Lots of fun and steamy times follow but when Lena is given a crazy ultimatum by her dad to marry her ex boyfriend Lena has to make some decisions about her life. This story was so great!! Every moment was wonderful!

I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had a very hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This was a really good romance full of humor. Lena and Puck have an amazing chemistry from the first moment. He is her new pastry chef, and apparently her new husband also. Not only was this story humorous, it has great characters in it. It is the third book in the series and can be read alone but the first two are really good stories also. I really enjoyed Lena finding love where she least expected it.

This is definitely a page turner. The characters of Lena and Puck have some serious chemistry, now can they have the same for their working relationship. Some ups and downs and the interference of family, will they be able to keep their marriage or does the saying go what happens in Vegas stay in Vegas.

Puck and Lena…equals…yummy holiday love story, filled with heat, romance and humor. I loved it, didn’t know the author…but now I am a fan…

I really enjoyed the overall story but of course the pairing of Puck and Lena really made it worth the read. Lena is the kind of heroine that is impulsive, spirited and giving. Puck shows little of himself to the world beyond a player and guy that doesn’t take anything seriously. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Their chemistry is impossibly hot and their related activities quite steamy.
The opening of the book has the two waking up in Vegas hung over and married. They ditched the pastry convention to have fun in Vegas at the beginning of the holiday season. How they deal with their fake marriage, working relationship, Lena’s family, her business partner and restaurant co-owner’s romantic crisis are what keeps us turning the pages.
If you are looking for a full length but fast paced holiday romance with lots of witty banter and interesting secondary characters you will enjoy FIRED.
