My Christmas list did not include a broken heart, freezing temperatures, or my tree stuck in the door to my apartment building, but that’s what I got. Just when I thought Santa had failed me, I got something I never thought to ask for …
Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward
Kissmas in New York
It was just supposed to be a simple kiss with a stranger. I’d done it to prove a point–that I hadn’t lost my sense of adventure. But you know what they say about the best laid plans. Maybe I’d get something in my stocking after all this holiday season…
Sierra Simone & Kennedy Ryan

Penny Reid & LH Cosway

Just the Tip by Helena Hunting & L.J. Shen
Heat=4/5 – This was a funny little romcom pairing together seeming opposites who were absolutely made for each other. Hunting and Shen created a delightful couple who shared a love for The Cure, historical facts, and sizzling hot chemistry.
Baby It’s Cold Outside by Corinne Michaels & Melanie Harlow
Heat=3.5/5 – Harlow has just had her heart broken and she just wants to get through the holidays. If she could only get the dang tree through the door. When a handsome stranger offers to help, she realizes that this Christmas may not be as miserable as she expected. I love how fated Harlow and Michael were and how the authors captured the instant sizzle between them. The idea of them being fated for each other and the fact that they shared the names of the authors were tidbits that served as icing on the cake.
Kissmas in New York by Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland
Heat=1/5 – I dug how Margo finally taking a moment for herself, a spontaneous moment and one that led to such explosive results, ended up being the best thing she’d ever done. I loved the circumstances under which Chet and Margo met and how the authors worked in a bit of angst to spice things up. It turned out to be a sweet little story!
The Christmas Crown by Kennedy Ryan & Sierra Simone
Heat=4/5 – This story was full of heat, passion, feels, and intense chemistry. Noelani was groomed to be a queen and has gotten all to familiar to all the trappings. Now she’s a queen without a king, burdened by expectations, and longing to be free. Never has she met a man like Brock Grimsby.
This man’s body is a sin and I should cross myself just for looking at him.
He’s a man she wants, a man she craves, a man she ultimately needs, and he sees her. Not her, the Queen Regent of Manaroa, but as Lani, a red-blooded woman. Grim and Lani share one exquisitely hot night together and I instantly craved their happy ending. I’m beyond thrilled to know that this isn’t the end of their story!
Songbird by L.H. Cosway & Penny Reid
Heat=1/5 – Reading more like a prologue than anything else, the story of Ophelia and Broderick’s meet-cute was evocatively sincere. The honesty between the characters was easily felt and I can only hope that these authors continue the story at some point. From their shared love of music to the offer of help to get her singing career started, I’d be interested to see if a romance could develop between these two.
EPIC by Elle Kennedy & Sarina Bowen
Jamie is stressed and all his husband, Wes, wants to do is help. He’s being scouted, which could uproot their lives if he says yes. Then something magical happens and nothing is the same… it’s better! I’m not familiar with these characters, but I was instantly wooed by the ease of their relationship. I’m guessing there’s a story out there about these two that I’ll probably fall in love with. Bring. It!
Thank you to all of these wonderful authors who came together and gave us this wonderful Christmas gift. The stories were amazing and the characters were……wow! There were few new authors for me that I will now be exploring more of their work.

EPIC
Was obviously EPIC!!!!
I’m not overly fond of jointly written stories, but it worked here; I wasn’t able to hear where the story moved from one storyteller to another. Each story was enjoyable – and more on Wesmie!!!
I adored these fun, steamy holiday stories from some of my favorite romance authors. They all put a big smile on my face and I even laughed aloud. Highly recommend! And best of all, the collection is FREE!
I love me some Christmas stories, and I very much enjoyed these- especially Just the Tip by LJ Shen and Helena Hunting, Baby It’s Cold Outside by Corinne Michaels and Melanie Harlow, Kissmas in New York by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward, and EPIC by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy.
If you’re looking for some quick, fun holiday reads, this is it
This story follows different couples on their meet cute or current lives. All taking place around Christmas to help add a festive vibe.
I don’t like these (usually free) anthologies, but once I’ve read it’s all new content, I was sold. Especially with Penny Reid & L.H. Cosway in it.
My reading order:
1. Songbird by Penny Reid & L.H. Cosway
2. Epic by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy
3. Just The Tip by L.J. Shen & Helena Hunting
4. The Christmas Crown by Sierra Simone & Kennedy Ryan
5. Baby it’s Cold Outside by Corinne Michaels & Melanie Harlow
6. Kissmas in New York by Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward
It’s new content all right, but only two stories (3 & 6) have no link to some previous work. I couldn’t read Epic because it’s an actual freaking sequel. Not cool.
This is a collection of jointly written novellas. As with any anthology there were some of the stories I liked more than others but basically enjoyed them all for light reads. Had some good laughs, felt the sadness of some of the characters so got some good emotions. Some authors I have read before and met some new authors that I will be reading more of their books.
So another awesome collectible short stories from awesome authors. Overall a quick read. I absolutely loved it.
A great Christmas anthology written by author pairs. I really enjoyed it as it introduced me to a few new authors I had not yet read. I did not feel left out because I had not read the previous works and all of the stories stood alone. A perfect read for the busy holiday season.
I really liked this book especially during the holidays. Not all the stories are christmas based which was fine by me.
What a great quick fun read! Each of these stories is unique and made me laugh out loud!
Some stories are definitely better than others!! After the first two I wasn’t sure I wanted to keep reading but I’m glad I kept going. The last ones are truly excellent. Also, these are not full length novels! Very cute novellas though
Some stories are better than others. They are novellas, so some continue in books.
Just what I needed!
If this anthology doesn’t get you in the holiday spirit, nothing will. I loved every single story, and found some wonderful new authors to follow!
Really enjoyed all these short stories by all these great authors.
Ring in some Christmas Cheer. Love it
Christmas kisses, wishes, and love abound
Just the Tip by LJ Shen and Helena Hunting 4.5
Well, in true Helena/LJ fashion this story is one you will laugh, swoon, and pant through. It’s sexy, sweet, and steamy but also the full package in a tiny “box”.
With an unforgettable meet cute and a question spewed at the absolute worst time, there’s no way not to fall for these two. I’m pretty sure a Thai fortune teller is responsible.
Baby, It’s Cold Outside by Melanie Harlow and Corinne Michaels 4 stars
Hallmark Christmas movies have to take notes. Baby, It’s Cold Outside has all the fun, romance, and well dressed man a movie should have. It also has liquid heat, chemistry, and cufflinks. (I’m a sucker for cufflinks!) Enjoy the happy ending…I know he did!
Kissmiss in New York by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward 4 stars
Spontaneity isn’t dead yet in this holiday treat! Kissmiss is my kind of season. Keeland and Ward have you wishing for more with this lip locking tale.
The Christmas Crown by Kennedy Ryan and Sierra Simone 4 stars
What a tease! Kennedy Ryan and Sierra Simone have hooked me. I’m a greedy little queen wannabe. There is no question in my mind that I’m going to devour the rest of this story when it gets released. And not just because of the “friends” that are in it…
Songbird by Penny Reid and LH Cosway 4stars
A Christmas wish
A lonely young woman
A dark pub
A handsome stranger
Coincidence or a Christmas magic?!?!
Epic by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy 5 stars
If you have to end this book, there is no better way than WESMIE!!! I have had a huge, unrequited crush on these two since I first stumbled on Him. Several readings and half a dozen “rereads” in audiobook format, these two have a special place in my heart. So of course when I saw they were included I had to have this ASAP.
The last time I saw Wesmie we were at a wedding. Now it picks up at a crucial time in their lives and I’m so glad I got to be there even if it feels like an evil tease. I say that because now I can’t help but want more…
Gahhhh! These two are a gateway drug and I’m craving a bigger fix!!!!
