From USA Today Bestselling Author Cora Kenborn comes a steamy enemies to lovers romance full of sharp banter, cold revenge, and unexpected twists.Loyalty is the deadliest sinEverything has been one elaborate lie. My name. My identity. My entire existence. Crafted by one man and revealed by another. Brody Harcourt exposed me as a fraud, turning me from a queen into a pariah. Now … a fraud, turning me from a queen into a pariah.
Now there will be hell to pay.
But I’m back for more than revenge. More than blood.
My eye is on the prize.
The Carrera throne.
I’ll win the kingpin’s trust at any cost, even if it means crossing enemy lines with Houston’s political pin-up boy. Brody’s chiseled chest and cocky smirk won’t distract me.
But things don’t always go as planned.
Sometimes a queen has to steal her crown.
And the one man she should never want…
…is the only one she does.

The Queen of dark romance has outdone herself! Adriana and Brody’s masterfully written journey is filled with plenty of darkness and grit, condescending yet teasing banter and sinfully arousing heat. Literally. Sinfully arousing and delectable deliciousness. Did you get that? These two will make your Kindles combust into flames!
The suspense and shocking twists will indeed catch the readers off guard. Readers won’t be able to help themselves as they become entangled into the web woven by these two. They’ll grab hold of you and drag you down into the depths of their Mafia Underworld.
This entire series, starting with book one, Blurred Red Lines, followed by book two, Faded Gray Lines and ending with this impressive and explosive conclusion, Drawn Blue Lines, are all truly epic works of art and shows just what makes this author the Queen of all things dark mafia and enemies to lovers genres of romance.
This book literally kept me up at night reading! So stoked to have finally gotten my hands on the final Carrera Cartel book in the series of standalones. Having caught glimpses of the characters, Adriana aka Marisol and Brody, in previous books I already knew these two were stubbornly set in their ways which made me all the more excited to finally see exactly how many fires they’d be setting ablaze.
Drawn Blue Lines did not let me down! There were so many intriguing revelations and crazy explosive plot twists that it had me thinking just one more chapter… then I’ll think about sleep. But holy moly it’s the tension between the counselor and his princess that kept me fanning myself and thinking “‘¡Ay, Dios mío!’ These two are sizzling together and just need to give in to what they both need!”
I definitely don’t want to give away any plot line details because this book needs to be read going in blind. The build up of everything coming together is what will have you thinking you know but trust me you have no idea! I totally recommend this suspenseful read to all romance readers and believe me when I say it’s caliente (hot)
The growth of her character throughout this entire book is amazing. She is ready to take what she is owed and what has been stolen from her, and she isn’t afraid to play dirty.
Now… Brody… OHH Boy… I didn’t know that he had all that bad boy alpha in him from the previous books! Brody is broken, he feels that he has let all the women in his life down and he doesn’t know how to redeem himself, or if he even wants too. Adrianna comes strutting back into his life, and he just can’t resist her, but he is going to play by his own rules. Brody is SMOKING hot. I LOVED his character as well. To watch him go from just basically giving up and making stupid choices, to finding who he is again with Adrianna, and learning to live again was amazing and I loved every step of it!
Brody and Adrianna together are a fierce couple. I love how they were made for each other, and how together, they were able to pull themselves through all the crap in their pasts and move on together (with lots of hot scenes as well)
I am sad to see this series come to a close, however, I think I caught some teasing by the author on a possible new series??? I can’t wait to get my hands on that! The plot was great, moved forward well, and makes it hard to put the book down. The writing is fantastic (though, with Cora Kenborn, I know it will be), Character development is fantastic. While reading, I can feel their pain and the struggles that they went through in order to come out on top. I HIGHLY recommend Drawn Blue Lines as well as the series (and really ANY book by Cora Kenborn.
Drawn Blue Lines by Cora Kenborn is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stacy Gonzalez and Alan Carlson.
This is the third book in the Carrera Cartel Trilogy and each book can be read as standalone. However, for maximum enjoyment, it’s recommended that you read them in order.
I absolutely love Cora’s books! I was hooked from the very beginning and I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Adriana and Brody. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
Stacy and Alan did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would highly recommend his book to anyone who loves mafia/cartel romances, dark romances, enemies-to-lovers romances, or romantic suspense.

This book is edgy and dark, it is still sexy and all the feels a good dark romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
This is the third and last book in the excellent Carrera Cartel Trilogy, a dark mafia romance. This is a series of standalone romances, and it’s recommended to listen to this series in order for a better enjoyment. You won’t regret it. Adriana and Brody’s story is suspenseful, filled with mystery, danger, action, and twists and turns. Adriana is reckless, sassy, strong, and smart. Brody is handsome, dominant, and protective. They share a sizzling hot chemistry. I liked their banter. The cast of supporting characters is impressive, and I loved to see again the characters from the first books. The storyline is captivating, and the world building is complex, and intriguing. I love the family ties in this series. This is a great mafia romance, and a fantastic slow burn romance. Alan Carlson and Stacy Gonzalez did an amazing job with the narration. They are perfect as Adriana and Brody. I enjoyed it. I loved this Series, and I can’t believe this is already the end. I need more! #PinkFlamingoProductions #AudiobookObsession
Drawn Blue Lines
A Dark Mafia Romance (Carrera Cartel, Book 3)
By: Cora Kenborn
Narrated by: Stacy Gonzalez, Alan Carlson
Cora Kenborn is my new addiction. I found her earlier this year, and each book I hear from her just increases my appetite for her stories! This series is fantastic. Each book stands alone, but I have to say that reading them in order is the way to go. There is some history that enlightens you to all the characters, increasing the love of the story. This one features Brody and Adriana. We have met Brody previously. Leighton’s brother and the ADA, he is on the right side of the law. So what made him switch sides and find himself entrenched in the Carrera Cartel? Life is not going as planned, things are falling apart when Adriana barrels in, full force. Adriana is seeking revenge, All her life a sham, she is ready to seek her justice and Brody is one who needs to feel it. But emotions and reveals make the lines blurred, danger, deceit and treachery in abundance creates muddy waters. What will she find out and where will she end up? This love/hate relationship between Adriana and Brody is smoking hot! The two are broken, their feelings just and Kenborn weaves a web we enjoy untangling. It’s high suspense, high heat and all about love and family. A fantastic conclusion to this trilogy and an enjoyable listen.
Stacy Gonzalez and Alan Carlson portray our heroes with a wonderful performance. Gonzalez gives us the spunky, strong willed Adriana, holding nothing back. She makes her real, vulnerable, and at times infuriating! Carlson is becoming a favorite of mine and I loved him as Brody. He lets us feel his conflict as he finds his way in the cartel, and his growing love for Adriana. It’s a great narration!

Drawn Blue Lines
A Dark Mafia Romance (Carrera Cartel, Book 3)
By: Cora Kenborn
Narrated by: Stacy Gonzalez, Alan Carlson
Consider me wowed by they brilliantly twisted and mind-blowing romantic suspense. Cora Kenborn is a gifted author with a wonderful writing style and knack to draw her readers and/or audiobook listeners in right from the start, not only grabbing their attention but holding it hostage for the entire book. I love the originality of her stories as well as the depth and complexity to them, her world building is phenomenal in this series and it comes full circle in third book. Sure each book stands on it’s own but I highly recommend enjoying them in order, firstly each one is awesome, secondly it is just great to know the history of all the characters and players in the Cartel and Carrera world. Now I know I just said each book is awesome but I think Ms. Kenborn saved the best for last, Brody & Adriana’s story. Brody Harcourt has been a major player in this series from the start, he played both sides of the law and all the gray in between. Circumstances changed for him, he has become a fallen angel now that he chose sides and became a Lieutenant for the Carrera Cartel. But nothing is going right for him and then a whirlwind of a woman walks in to his life and turns it upside down. Adriana Carrera is out for vengeance and she puts her plan in play starting with Mr. Harcourt. The rug was pulled out from under her and the walls of her castle crumbled, but she plans on taking over another one and making the throne hers. The chemistry between Adriana and Brody was electric, the witty dialogue was absolutely amazing, those two were a perfect match, each one as headstrong as the other, though Adriana had a a bit of an edge over him. This book is absolutely amazing, it is an emotional and thrilling rollercoaster ride with lots of twists and turns, action, suspense, mystery and some hot romance. I loved how it all played out all the way up to that brilliant ending. Thank you all this entertaining awesomeness Cora Kenborn!
And for the fabulous narration, Alan Carlson and Stacy Gonzalez were the perfect cast to bring these characters and their story to life. They did an awesome job portraying the characters, they had a complete understanding of the roles they played, sounding believable and just as I pictured them to sound. Stacy Gonzalez’s Adriana was spot on, accent and all, she grasped her personal completely, handled her witty dialogue with ease, even sounding melodic at times. Alan Carlson’s Brody was perfection as well, he grasped his persona to a tee as well, varying from his not giving a crap attitude to an alphatude with ease. Both were awesome performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all of the characters emotions and projected them into their performance. These talented narrators are entertaining storytellers and versatile voice artist. Thank you for the awesome listen, it was a pleasure to listen to your work.

I think we saved eachother
Ever get to the end of a book and just sit there with your mind blown wide? Well, that is me now. Adriana has reminded me of the power a simple kiss holds. Brody has shown me that rock bottom, is a good place to start. This book is a whirlwind of truth and lies, down the rabbit hole you go. INTENSE. What an adventure! Don’t try an make sense of it all, just read and let the story take you to a world of Cartel kings, devil’s in the shadows, and a princesa. He might not be a white night, but he’s coming for her.
This is book three in the carerra series and my god it was amazing. If you love a cartel series then this is the right place to be.
Brody gave mateo and run for his money in this book and I didn’t think that could be possible. The good DA turned bad… just what the dr ordered
I’m gutted it’s over but I can’t wait to see what’s next
