THE COMPLETE BESTSELLING DUET. This is Collin & Mia’s two-book bundled boxed set from New York Times bestselling author, Christa Wick.BOOK ONE: HIS TRUSTHe thinks I’m a corporate spy.Me—plump, boring Mia James. Yes, I omitted an advanced degree on my resume, but being overqualified to be able to pay rent wasn’t how I was going to start my newly single (okay, newly dumped) life. Do I regret … (okay, newly dumped) life.
Do I regret doing it? Seeing as how I got a junior secretary position in my field, for the private military company run by billionaire badass CEO Collin Stark no less, I’m going to go with ‘no.’ No regrets here. Which is what I basically tell Mr. Stark when he starts questioning my motives.
Did I mention he’s an ex-Army interrogator? Or that he’s too intense to put into words? While it’s obvious he doesn’t trust me, that’s probably a good thing. Because something tells me if that hot, hardened man were to ever fully trust a woman, his intensity level over her would be…off the charts.
* * * * *
She thinks I haven’t noticed her all this time. Hell, I’d have to be missing both a brain and functioning balls to overlook the quietly enigmatic woman who’s clearly too smart and skilled to be working in any entry-level capacity for me.
I don’t want to believe Mia’s capable of corporate espionage. But given the evidence, it’s hard to think otherwise. Not that I seem to be capable of a whole lot of rational thought when I’m around her. She’s my own curves-for-days kryptonite—which just makes her that much more dangerous.
Is it possible my enemies planted a woman in my company to seduce me (in the most awkwardly tempting way possible)? In the past, I would’ve said no way in hell. But after getting a taste of just how hot Mia can burn, I’m starting to see it’s definitely possible…and damn worth it, either way.

BOOK TWO: HER HEART
I refuse to break. I can’t say that I’ve been through worse, but I still believe I’ll survive this. I’m not going to crumble at the seams. If I do, Collin’s enemies will have won. And everything we’ve both lost would have been for nothing.
I know it seems crazy to return to my old life and try to get a fresh start in a place with more bad memories than good, courtesy of my crook of a stepfather. But it’s all I have. And all I need. At least that’s what I keep telling myself.
…Until Collin bursts back into my life.
* * * *
I refuse to let Mia suffer. I may know jack about healing—vengeance seems to be all I’m capable of right now—but that doesn’t mean I can’t protect her from more pain. God knows my world has caused her enough of that to last a lifetime.
I understand her need to start a new life. Hell, I even want that for her…even though I’m sure it’ll end up killing me and decimating my hopeless heart for good. But I’ll do anything for her. Even this. At least that’s what I keep telling myself.
…Until I almost lose her all over again.

NOTE: While this is the Collin Stark (CEO of Stark International) mentioned throughout the Savage Trust series, the events of his story actually take place prior to Wrecked, Scarred, and Frayed.

I enjoyed reading Both books in this set. Each one is well written and developed with enjoyable characters. The storyline draws in your interest and keeps it throughout. I would recommend reading this set. (I received this set as an arc and am leaving a voluntary honest review)
This is the conclusion of Mia and Collins story, which in my opinion is better than the first. Can’t wait to discover more with this author. Mia is trying to pick up the pieces of her life since Collin pushed her away with no explanation. She is haunted by memories of him and decides it’s time to come home. Can they work past their troubled pasts and embrace the fire between them?

His Trust
Collin and Mia’s story starts with a bang and never end. Intense chemistry makes for some hot sizzling loving that I want more of and the storyline is action packed filled that was never boring. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this intense romance read that doesn’t disappoint!
Her Heart
Collin and Mia’s ending was just as explosive as their beginning. Being together was so destructive for both that they lost something they didn’t know they had, but trying to keep them apart sets a whole new problem. Another intense read as we go along their journey that will have you cheering for their happy ending. Great chemistry and storyline made this a must read.
Intense, sexy, heart-stopping action romance!
Collin and Mia come together like two freight trains on the same track, but the impact awakens a side of each of them that they didn’t know existed and it changes the entire game. These two really have the deck stacked against them, making this a non-stop page-turner that was captivating from start to finish.
I loved how Collin learned to open his heart, knowing he could trust Mia to take care of it. The story is both intense and sweetly charming, and I loved every bit. Collin and Mia will steal your heart and make it bleed for both of them as they struggle against all the obstacles. Their hard-won HEA is beautifully followed by an epilogue that will make your heart flutter. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
His Trust will make your blood boil, your heart break and your spine tingle. No one does romance quite like Christa Wick. From the first page til the last word your emotions are invested. Collin and Mia test everything that the heart tells you that love should be. Yet it’s hopeless to try and look away.
Love is a dangerous game and Collin and Mia are about to learn just how savage it can be. Her Heart is the second half of The Savage Hope duet. Wick picks up right where she left off, but my heart never truly left. I found myself even more captivated by the intensity. This couple survived the unthinkable, but can they repair the damage the was done. A tempestuous edge of the seat, total eclipse of the heart romance.
This was an amazing box set in so many ways. The characters were well developed and their attraction to each other compulsive, erotic and powerful. Colin makes many mistakes with Mia, the biggest was sending her away but Mia is a strong woman and this strength makes it hard to forgive Colin the mistakes he made in the past. Once you start reading their story, you won’t be able to put it down.
This is a great read with an awesome storyline that has well developed and engaging characters that have lots of chemistry. The smooth flow of the storyline makes for a good reading time.

Excellent and exciting series
Very strong series from the beginning because from the first chapter, the way Collin questions Mia is both embarrassing and exciting and finally we wonder how it can evolve because in reality it would end up in court action. But it works because our empathy to Mia is immediate, without calling into question her loyalty to the company, while Collin spends his time to make her confess something she would not have done.
It is very well written, exciting, steamy, mixing espionage, a partial dark romance (because we’re as far as possible from a sweet and cute story), with characters as strong as the story. Sometimes the relationship Mia / Collin can be unconfortable because of the impression that Mia undergoes and that they will never understand each other.
I loved the first active part. The second part is more romantic and less torrid, which is quite logical because the position of Collin has changed, he is no longer the one who has the right to decide for Mia, but the last part still contains action because of the new characters and attacks against Mia.
His Trust
I’ve read this author’s work before, and I’ve got to admit some are better than others. This might just be one of my favorites so far despite the huge cliffy at the end. I thought the sexual tension and buildup along with dual POVs were excellently executed. I loved the way Collin fell hard for Mia despite his initial distrust of her.
Could not put this book down once I started and every moment was entertaining and enjoyable.
Anxious to read book two for more of Collin and Mia’s journey.
Her Heart
This conclusion to Collin and Mia’s romance was just as good as the first book which was super steamy. This one was more of an emotional ride and I enjoyed the drama that was handled just right. Some authors handle the whole separation thing poorly with emotional or physical cheating as well as a constant back and forth that ends up frustrating. Not so with this storyline.
I felt the author did a great job creating just enough drama to accentuate what Collin and Mia were going through. While I loved Collin and the way he focused on eliminating all threats to Mia in whatever way he could, Mia was the one who showed the most strength. I loved the way she calmly walked out of the Florida office after seeing footage with Collin’s new secretary as they shared a touch and a loving moment with each other. She was determined then to move on which Collin had been pushing her to do (for her own safety, ugh).
By the end of this second story, Collin and Mia had grown so much. Kudos to the author in achieving this deepened character development.
Hot! Love this series
His Trust: Mia’s supposed fiancé left her hanging when she needed a ride to the interview for the job she really wanted. He also left her penniless. In desperation Mia has dumbed down her resume and taken a job with Stark International. But now she’s been found out. What will the repercussions be?
Colin Stark trusts no one, especially a junior secretary that has lied on her resume. But he’s also powerfully attracted to her. When he tries to “interrogate” her with sex, he realizes she is actually the perfect woman for him. But can he trust her? More importantly, can he get her to trust him?
Her Heart: After what happened in Dubai, Mia is “put” in Florida in a job that she is fully qualified for. She really doesn’t have to work, or pay rent, or anything. She hasn’t had any contact from Collin for six months, since everything went to hell. Until one day she sees the news and she realizes that he never intended to contact her again. So she leaves everything behind and returns “home.”
Collin has put a wall around his heart; but Mia is still in it. When she leaves, he follows. He wants her safe but thinks she’s not safe near him. When he finds her in her hometown, he realizes that she’s in far more danger than she’s ever been. Can he convince her to come back with him?
an adjustment to her resume, she finally finds work .. even though it is below her level. but the adaptation is discovered and that entails more than she thought. He is her boss and does not want to develop feelings for her, but a simple business trip turns out differently. it is an easy reading story .. you hold the tension to the end. from me 4 stars ..
a wonderful sequel to the first part .. intense and full of love .. everything is well described just like the first part. I have no words for it .. this is definitely recommended. from me 5 stars
