Beth Beechen comes to Needful, Texas as a Mail Order Bride. She has just lost her Mother the last of her family. She misses her terribly, but they planned this together and wrote and read the letters together so her Mother would be assured she had taken charge of her life and moved on.
She arrived in Needful on the stage, but had a bit of difficulty getting off. Just prior to stopping, she looked out the window and was surprised to find herself pelted with mud. Then when the stage stopped she landed in a heap on the floor.
As Brandon Tippert, the new Preacher in town opened the door to find a muddied girl in a heap he was shocked! He immediately helps her up and out of the stage. Therein begins a wonderful story and possibly a beautiful romance!
There will be a few times you will wonder if they are truly meant to be. You will see the doubt and feel it. Brandon loves God first and has discovered that each time he sees Beth, she worms her way a little deeper into his heart.
Will Beth learn to trust that Brandon has left his past truly behind? He is not her Father, but their tales ring similar!
She has a lot to come to terms with before their HEA can arrive!
Danni Roans characters are well written, bringing about a lovely story. They give you something to hope for and to truly celebrate when the story is at it’s close.
I received an ARC of this book and am choosing to leave an honest review.
Another great book by Danni!! Enjoyed reading Beth and Brandon’s story!! Especially loved that Beth and to “work” at understanding what God was trying to tell her numerous times in the story!! I’m thinking Mercy and Jacks need to have a story, and love the way things are happening in Mercy, Peri and Prim’s lives, too. Can’t wait for the next book!!
I received a complimentary copy of this book, was not required to leave a review, and the opinion expressed is my own!!
I really loved the hero and heroine in this story. Their first meeting is when the stage rolls into Needful and our heroine has been tossed about in the stage after looking out the window to get her first look at her knew home. She get a surprise before the stage stops and a bunch of mud tossed up into face. Our hero opens the door to help passengers out and finds her in a heap on the floor. A funny scene by far, but for her.
As any gallant man, her doesn’t laugh but helps her regain so composure while helping her up.
They find themselves together frequently after that while both staying at the Hampton Inn and eating there as well. These seem to find each other fascinating and often eat together when she’s not working there. She finds out he is a rather unconventional preacher but likes his ways.
Like all the other brides that have come looking for a husband, she is put off the roughness of the miners which are always around in the Hampton eatery since its the only place that serves food, so sitting with him seems like the safe place to be.
This story has many several facets to it that makes it a page turner. Excitement, walks, buggy rides, a new job and many new friends are a good reason to like the town. Plus getting to know the preacher as her original match wants no wife.
This is a very enjoyable, clean story with several unconventional folks in this town and miracles happening in several forms.
I loved this story, all the main characters and of course a wonderful HEA in spite of the things that happen. This is another must read by this author and I can’t wait for the next mail order bride to show up in town.
Beth moves to Needful Texas after her mother dies and her father is killed. After moving Beth meets the pastor in town. I love the characters. This book has twists that will keep your attention. I love how God worked things out.
I’m so in love with this series! Each book can be read as a stand alone. The characters are so fun and make you feel as if you know them personally. I loved the romance but there is so much to this story that grabbed my heart. The author writes a beautiful message of Gods love and how he brings beauty from our ashes. I’m so excited to read the next story!
Was given a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.
This Book #4 in the Brides of Needful, Texas series and is a heart warming story with great character development. It is Beth and Brandon’s story and is a mail order bride story with a different twist. Beth travels to Needful, Texas from New York after the murder of her father and the death of her mother. Upon arriving in town to stay with the local matchmaker and assist her in her boarding house and to find a husband, she meets Brandon, the new pastor in town and while they are attracted to each other, there are issues to be resolved before they arrive at a HEA. You will meet old friends from Needful from previous books in the series as well as meet some new ones. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. Don’t miss this one, you will enjoy it.
