A straitlaced teacher is tempted to break the rules by a wildcard football star in this romantic suspense novel from the author of Love Uncovered. At thirty-two, Anne Cooper feels the clock ticking on her dream family. She needs a man who checks the boxes on her ideal husband list. The hot football hero doesn’t match a single one–she’s not looking for a player. But spending time with Mr. … player. But spending time with Mr. Wrong feels so right.
Wyatt Pearson knows all about hard work–on the field. In the dating world, his celebrity status has paved his way. But he’s blindsided when he meets the smart, down-to-earth woman who would rather grade papers than watch the Superbowl. For a chance with Anne, he must up his game and approach from the heart.
But as Anne and Wyatt fumble through their feelings, someone else is watching from the sidelines, plotting to win her affections. And if this rival can’t have her…no one will.
If you like Rachel Grant, Cynthia Eden, Susan Stoker, Melinda Leigh, Mary Burton, and Kendra Eliot, you’ll love this thrilling ride!

Book three in the Love Beyond Danger series a well written romantic suspense story. This is the first book by this Author that I have read, and I want to read the other books in this series. This is Anne Cooper and football hero Wyatt Pearson’s story there is suspense, drama, danger, murder, a very evil man, and romance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Anne is a school teacher. She’d like to get married – her baby clock is ticking. Wyatt is a football star and player, the complete opposite of what Anne is looking for. He has to convince her that he’s worth her time. She has a stalker, though, someone who makes a bet with his buddy about winning her affection. This is an incredible book – the suspense doesn’t let up. Wyatt and Anne have great chemistry, but with all the twists and turns, they have to learn to trust each other. This is my first read from this author – not the last!

This story was a fast-paced page-turner. Anne and Wyatt were total opposites. Anne liked normal, calm and no fuss. As a NFL tight-end, he was used to the spotlight and media scrutiny. He had people who were always flocking around him wanting autographs and more from him. When he literally ran into Anne at a bar, something clicked. She was beautiful and normal. She had no idea who he was and he loved that.
There was a lot of suspense in this story with a psychopath orchestrating things behind the scenes that could have ended with no happy ever after for any of them.
This book was peppered with f-bombs and foul language and a very descriptive sex scene. These are not to my taste but in spite of those things, the story was well written and there is a happy ending.
I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.
Love on the Line is about Anne Cooper, a super-organized, always-in-control elementary school teacher. While out celebrating with her friends, she runs into Wyatt Pearson, an ex-professional football player who’s always in the spotlight. He, of course is not her type, as she doesn’t want to be to be with a man who is constantly surrounded by fans and gorgeous, adoring women. She’s not like any woman he’s ever dated, as she doesn’t care about his money and fame, and she actually doesn’t even know who he is. Their chemistry is undeniable, but can they overcome their differences, fears, and insecurities to make a relationship work? To complicate matters, Devon Blackwood, a rich, powerful, narcissistic man has made a bet with a friend that he can get Anne to agree to marry him within 3 months, and he will go to any lengths to win a bet.
Love on the Line has an exciting story line filled with action, emotion, and romance. I really like the way Anne and Wyatt learn to talk through conflicts, learn how to communicate with each other effectively, and in the process, learn about themselves and their individual insecurities. Anne and Wyatt are both likable and realistic characters. I also like the sub-plot of Devon trying to win Anne, narcissisticly believing that he could have any woman at any time. It adds a demented twist that made for a great deal of drama and suspense. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the story line of Love on the Line, my personal problems with this book are the language and explicit sexual content. (If it was a movie, it would be rated R.) I know it’s a personal preference, and I know it probably doesn’t bother most people. If you don’t mind the bad language or the sexual content (or are willing to just skip the sex scene), then I think you’ll really enjoy this book. If those things bother you, you probably want to skip this one.
*I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
He can’t be Mr. Right! Right?
This is the second book by Diane Holiday’s I have read and it was just as good as the first. I picked both books up from the author’s email and so glad I downloaded them. Now it is a sports romance about a down to earth teacher and a pro-football player. Anne is not what Wyatt expects and Anne is not looking to hook up with someone like him, but guess what they are both wrong and I loved how the author wrote it. The romance with a touch of suspense was a great read I highly recommend it. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
This was a good book It has characters that are well developed with loads of chemistry and a storyline that had me turning pages.

Anne and Wyatt come from two worlds so much different that it’s unlikely they fit together. But when they met something ignited between them and they are willing to fight for it. But the a mad man with a crazy bet starts to interfere and their lives are in danger. Can they’d really be together? A romantic thriller.
This one had me hooked it will have you on the edge of your seat and if you are like me it will keep you reading late into the night. The connection/attraction between Anne and Wyatt is obvious right from the start. I really enjoyed it and while it is part of a series it can be read on its own. A great book to curl up with.
Anne and Wyatts love story is one roller coaster. She’s always taking care of others and doesn’t put herself as priority. When Wyatt spills his drink on her at the bar, instant attraction occurred but with his fame, she wants nothing to do with him. She doesn’t like being in the spot light. There’s something special about Anne and he spends his time proving she’s all he wants but in enters Devon the psycho who has you wanting to see what twists and turns will be coming as he tries to win her over some bet with his friend. Never wanting to lose, Devon takes action and gets rid of everything in his path. Though our to destroy Anne and Wyatts connection, the tragedy that strikes with his lunatic character makes their love stronger.
