This a wellwritten and fastpaced story that captivated me from the start. The storyline is entertaining and actionpacked. The characters are wonderful. Can not wait for the next book in this series.

The final chapter of Ophelia and Roman’s story at Thanksgiving. Although an enjoyable short story, it feels like just a part of their story. The characters are interesting, as are Ophelia’s extended family and so I would have loved more of their story than this synopsis.

This is a short novella about a second chance at love between Ophelia and Roman. They dated during college but it didn’t end well. Years later they are at the family Thanksgiving dinner they see each other again and the spark is still there. Will they get their HEA or will they go their separate ways. All Out of Gratitude is a great addition to the Kismet Bay series with believable characters and small town love.
Another short story of Kismet Bay – and this time it is Ophelia Strange who finally gets her happy end.
During college she had been dating Roman and believed to have found “The One”, only to see him naked in bed with another woman.
Now, a few years later she is still wary of men and shocked when Roman is invited for the family Thanksgiving dinner.
Although a short story, it contains all necessary information and has enough things happening to be interesting and fun to read.
For me, this is probably the best of the series so far, the most credible of the stories of Kismet Bay – although I liked them all.

Book seven in the Kismet Bay series a well written second chance, very short story that kept me turning pages. This is Ophelia Strange and Roman Cacy’s story. Ophelia is her own worst enemy she believes things that she thinks she sees, and will not let Roman explain what really happened. I felt like saying hey woman you must not really love him if you can not trust in him.I am glad they did get their happy ending.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Fantastic job Dawn, thanks for sharing this incredible jewel with us.
Ophelia Strange loved Autumn in Kismet Bay, the colors, the smells, the temperature, and the Holidays. Right now she was making a beautiful cornucopia centerpiece for the Thanksgiving table done in a golden harvest theme with a few red and orange begonias for added color. She drove to Aunt Rosaline’s house to deliver the centerpiece and was surprised when her aunt had been expecting someone else she would be hosting for the holidays, a friend of Nicholas whose home was under renovation and not completed yet. The doorbell rang and her aunt went to invite her guest in – the last person she ever expected to see again, Roman Cacy is standing right there in her aunt’s kitchen. She wanted to run and hide!
Roman of course did not get a warm welcome, even though he knew Ophelia would be there with her family eventually. They had dated in college and fallen in love. He had finished his MBA as she finished her bachelors, and he had plans for them. But he went out drinking to celebrate with his buddies and ruined everything. He would like to explain to her what had happened, if she would give him the chance. But he was going to have to bide his time. She wasn’t at all ready to listen.
The next morning, Aunt Rosaline asked Ophelia to make paper lanterns in the basement. Then she asked Roman to help her with them! He tried to talk to her, but she refused to listen to one word. He had betrayed her, had cheated. But he told her he hadn’t, despite what she thinks she saw. But until she would listen, there was nothing he could say to her. He remembered when she arrived at his room and screamed. He woke to find a naked woman next to him, and he was in his boxers and t-shirt. What had actually happened was that the woman, Vanessa, had spent the night with one of the guys, got up for the bathroom, and drunkenly came into Roman’s room by mistake. He had already passed out, and she laid down and passed out next to him. It looked bad, but he hadn’t touched her or even known she was there! Ophelia’s scream and finding a stranger next to him had confused him.
Thanksgiving dinner was quiet. Ophelia went outside when she finished picking at her meal. She had missed Roman so much and never stopped loving him. Was she ready to hear what he had to say? Would it open up a second chance for the two of them?
This was a short, simple story about a misunderstanding that led to two years of pain. Will Roman and Ophelia get their second chance to have the future they had planned? Would she have something extra to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving holiday?
I found this quick read romance to be quite enjoyable. Small town charm, likable characters and lot of heartfelt emotions are combined with an entertaining storyline to craft a fun and entertaining read.
