Rowan: I need a date for a wedding, fast. Not a real boyfriend, but a fake one. Bonus points if he’s sexy, a good actor, and can put up with my crazy family. Why do I need a date? Because if I go by myself, my ex will be assigned to me as a mandatory plus-one.My ex. The guy who used me, hurt me, and dumped me like trash. When a handsome stranger hears my dilemma, he comes to my rescue. It’s both … comes to my rescue. It’s both a blessing and a curse when he offers to play the part of my fake boyfriend. A blessing because he goes along with my ridiculous plan—and a curse because I want him badly.
But I know he won’t stay. And that’s good, because our relationship is fake anyway. Right?
Alec: I don’t do commitment. After my ex burned me, I swore off relationships. As a photographer for a successful nature magazine, I travel the world and never stay in the same place for long. But when a desperate and hot guy begs me to be his fake boyfriend for a week-long getaway, I surprise myself by saying yes.
I can do seven days. I can even do fake boyfriend.
But Rowan is different. Nothing like my ex or the other men I’ve turned down. When I look into his stormy blue eyes, I’m mesmerized. His touch is electric. His kiss is smoking hot.
It doesn’t take long for me to wonder what’s fake and what’s very, very real.

Rowan needs a fake boyfriend for his cousin’s wedding. Alec walks into Rowan’s floral shop and ends up being his fake boyfriend. The more they get to know each other the more they want it to be real. I really enjoyed this book.
Rowan I like my quiet life running my flower shop but then a handsome man walks in and starts to flirt with me now I’m flustered and my mother just makes me more uncomfortable with her news about my cousin Tiffany’s wedding on they want me to attend with my crazy ex. But things look up when Mr. Hottie offers to be my date for a fun filled weekend I’m in trouble how am I going to fake it with Alec. The wedding turns into a tragedy people are sneaking around and now I’m in love with my fake date could it get any worse. Alex Rowan is so cute but I’m going to leave town after the wedding what am I going to do especially when my boss threatens to fire me if I don’t go to Bali. The one thing we can agree on stop the wedding before Rowan’s cousin makes a huge mistake. This was a good read both men have awful exes and there getting a chance at love with each other.
This was a wonderful story about how a fake relationship ultimately became real. Rowan needed a date for his favorite cousin’s wedding. So to get his mom off his back he made up a fake boyfriend with a name of Alec. What a coincidence that the handsome guy who came into his flower shop name is also Alec. Alec is photographer there for work and is willing to help out Rowan. So the adventure of the fake relationship ensues.Their banter with each other is entertaining…Even though Rowan is shy and an introvert his personality is real comical…I really loved his character. Intense drama unfolds during the wedding week and the two get closer and closer. Their attraction to each other was intense and HOT and it was nice when everything ended well at the end. I absolutely loved reading this story and hate that it ended..They were a cute couple at the end.

It gets real, quick! Rowan needed a date for his cousin Tiffany’s wedding that would fool his family. The alternative would be his ex assigned as his plus 1. His ex treated him badly before dumping him. Alec, came to the rescue because was available and he could. He had the time and he could empathize. Lots of cute little coincidences. A bit of mystery and intrigue. Their fake relationship was the simplest part of the story. Rowan and Alec were nice guys. Rowan’s family was delightful. Do they fool the family with their fake relationship? Is meeting each other’s ex-es fun? Do they solve the mystery? Does Rowan’t family like Alec? What about day 8? Nice story. Characters could have had more depth. Nice start to a series. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Nice cover art!
Rowan owned a floral shop. Alec is a photographer. Rowan needs someone to go to the wedding with. Alec over hears and tells him he will go with him. If they can get over the family drama and lake of trust their relationship may blossom.

Rowan was enjoying his flower shop, Rosecreek Florist. They calmed him and he felt so at home here. A customer came in, a tall, handsome man, who said he was just browsing. So Rowan went back to the bouquet he was working on. The man came back to him and asked about the Rosecreek Gardens, apparently looking for a way to get inside. When told he couldn’t, he said he would continue browsing. When the door slammed against the wall, making him jump, he realized only his mother made that kind of entrance.
His mom told him his cousin Tiffany is getting married in two weeks and the ceremony is being held at the Botanical Gardens. He saw the sexy Photographer perk up at that. His mother was already prepared to invite his ex-boyfriend, the one who totally humiliated and hurt him, so instead he told her he already had a boyfriend he would bring. Unfortunately, she wanted to know his name. Looking all around, he spotted a white rose called “Alec’s White”! He told her the name was “Alec”, not noticing the photographer staring now! As he will discover, Alec is the name of the photographer in his store! And this could be the perfect way for Alec to get access to the botanical gardens for a photo shoot. Offering to be his fake boyfriend would be ideal!
Since plans rarely work out as expected, it should be no surprise that Cousin Tiffany’s fiancé is actually Alec’s ex-boyfriend, Mark, who for some reason keeps disappearing and leaving Tiffany on her own. Where is he going and why? Will Alec and Rowan discover what Mark is up to so that Tiffany is not hurt by whatever he is doing? Will working on this “mystery” together help Alec and Rowan get to know each other and make them aware their attraction is starting to feel “real”?
In some ways, coincidences being too convenient make things less believable. But the story line is about the relationship developing between Alec and Rowan. Both have been hurt – will they be able to let go of the past and look for something more? I really enjoyed the main characters. Grab your copy and see how it all plays out!

I really enjoyed this story. This is my first book by this author and most definitely won’t be my last. Rowan needs to find a date to his cousin Tiffany’s wedding or his family will make him take his ex. Alec offers to go with him and help. I liked watching Rowan and Alec’s relationship grow and the mounting tension between them. This story is well written, it flowed well from page to page, had great character development, and kept me engaged from start to finish. It was truly an enjoyable read and I recommend it.

This is book number 1 in the Blooming Desires series. Rowan needs a date for an upcoming family wedding after his boyfriend dumped him. So when a stranger over hears his dilemma he agrees to help him out with it being only for 7 days. Alec doesn’t do commitment after being burned by his ex in his last relationship and he swore off relationships. Alec is a photographer for a nature magazine and travels the world. The both agree to this fake relationship but the lines between whats fake and real start to blur a little bit. The touches are electric and the kissing is smoking hot. Can Alec and Rowan put aside the family drama, lies, secrets and lack of trust and have a relationship that is built on the present and not the past.
