MY REVIEW : if you are like me with never enough time to read all the amazing authors published every day, I love when there are rééditions of past work, it gives me the opportunity to discover pieces I might have missed without it.
And this bundle is definitively one gem.

When a misled Lady must decide what is worth ….
A sweet fast paced read, about two people in love but betrayed by those who should have stood for them.
Alexandra and Nathaniel are two lovely characters, sure Nathaniel chooses a painful path as it caused a lot of hurt to Alexandra but it comes to finally fight for her et does not cower.
In all a lovely tale of the power of love and family if they decide to do the right thing.

Lady Patrina Tidemore gave up on the notion of true love after having her heart shattered and her trust destroyed by a black-hearted cad…that is, until she meets Weston Aldridge, the 4th Marquess of Beaufort…a brooding young widower, in desperate need of holiday cheer.

When two wounded souls cross way, will they take their chance at healing ….

Oh my, how I laughed during this one reading between the Tidemore siblings and Weston’s children antics.
What a delightful read this novella is. If you want to cheer up your mood, this is one is perfect.
I read Poppy’s story last spring, it was a joy to see her kid self, but also the other siblings.
Patrina is a lovely young lady who made a mistake and paid a heavy price by being scorned by the do-gooders. She is now well aware of the cost for her and her sisters.
Why she enjoys a short time of freedom every morning, until she meets two hellions.
Weston since his wife’s betrayal has in way retired from life, permitting more latitude than usual to his children. Until they threw snowballs to a woman passing by.
While their encounter rises sparkles, it also slowly awaken dormant feelings. Together they realize there is more than the welfare of his children between them.
A fun and charming read

When a ice queen’s mask melt, who is the woman behind it …

Oh how I disliked her. I must say whatever Cara suffered from her abusing father, nothing justifies to my regard how ugly she can be to others. Lack of love does not justify iciness and callousness.
In the lively maid she was provided, she could have found a bit of friendship or solace.
Why I wondered how Mrs Christi Caldwell would redeem her.
Then she did it, by cracking slowly the wall she has built around and by throwing away the mask she wears for society, Mrs Christi Caldwell proves one more time her talent. By flashes, she helps Cara to reminisce of bouts of her childhood.
Will plays a turnover role in Cara’s metamorphose, he despises everything she represents but when stranded with her and only her, she shows a different visage.
And quickly he comprehends there is more to this frigid miss.
Their encounter is a life altering’s one, eyes are opened and decisions are made.
A sad but moving read.
