Will the flying sparks set them on fire? Or will they incinerate everything in their path? Firefighter Mason Porter is a playboy. That’s what everyone thinks, and he doesn’t bother to correct them. When his friend asks for a wingman on a night out, Mason is quick to agree. Little does he know, he will meet a gorgeous, intriguing woman who, in the blink of an eye or maybe a slip of the tongue, … the tongue, will become enemy number one. But for Mason, who’s to say all the fighting isn’t just foreplay?
Fresh on the heels of a broken engagement, Jules Fairchild isn’t looking for love. When her best friend drags her out on the town, hoping to raise her spirits, Jules doesn’t count on meeting a tall, dark, and handsome man. Too bad he’s an egotistical, full-of-himself douche bag.
Mason and Jules have a hard time fighting the laws of attraction, and their steamy decision leads to an unintended consequence. Now, Mason has less than nine months to come to grips with being a father, and Jules has less than nine months to come to grips with the fact that her one-night stand might lead to her one knight forever.
Love Ignited can be read as a standalone, has steamy scenes and an HEA.
*Contains themes that may be sensitive for some readers.

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength. The short story of eroticism of sensation. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

Once again Jacie Lennon gave me an opportunity to read this book, for which I am so grateful. Thus is definately a slow burn as it does not happen over night, Love hate with passion and some angst.
We follow on from Burning love with Hanna’s friend Jules who has just recently broken up with her dirtbag fiancé, and has gone to spend some time with Hanna and Ezra in Nashville to help heal her broken heart.
On her first night there there is a misunderstanding between Jules and one of Ezra’s hot Fireman Collegues Mason and a love hate relationship begins between the two.
Jacie gets us straight into this book and things start happening very fast. This thing between Jules and Mason comes to an explosive meeting and befoe you know it Jules has returned home to her parents and Coffee shop she has left and her x fiance Kyle who has started to regret his decision to break up with her.
You can see the attraction from both Jules and Mason straight away, but Jules not being in a good place and Mason having issues form his parents and frowing up without them is a confimed playbpy and batchelor. No such plans for family and relationship for Mason, but god laughs at those who make plans. lol.
These two are thrown together by the hand of fate and a presciption affecting Jules birth control, and we have an entirely different life plan for these two.
We are taken on a journey of Jules & Mason trying to see if they can deal with this together, but then we have Masons issues of commitment and letting go of his anger & hurt with his mother, then his beloved grandmother dies and he starts to fall off the rails. It was great there were issues and it all didnt fall into place. We have Mason trying to deal ith becoming a father and parenthood, then we have Jules and her dreaded Ex that starts stalking her. All this and more thrown together that there is so much going on you wonder if these tow will find their way through it all to see that, somethings are meant to be despite what we want or didnt want.
I especially liked Mason and how he had to doeal with his emotions and actions during the novel. Well done Jacie. True love is sometimes never smooth or easy.
Absolute must-read! Love Ignited is a fantastic follow up to Jacie Lennon’s debut Burning Love. She has incorporated the characters from Burning Love into this story without taking away from Jules and Mason’s story. My favorite books are those that give you all the feels and this book surely doesn’t disappoint. Neither Mason nor Jules is looking for a relationship when she shows up in Nashville after a horrible break up. They continually fight their attraction until they no longer can. Their banter and chemistry kept me turning the pages. I’m looking forward to the next book from this author. I received a copy of this for an honest review.
Love Ignited is Jacie Lennon’s follow up novel to her fantastic first book, Burning Love. Jules is the best friend of Hanna Walters, the female lead from her first book and Mason is a firefighter that works at the same station as Hanna’s husband, Ezra. Jules is the sweet, girl next door that you introduce to your momma while Mason is the well known bad boy you sneak out your bedroom window to see and hop on his motorcycle for a wild night of good times & bad decisions.
After Jules goes through a hellish breakup with her crazy, controlling fiancee, Hanna convinces her to come for a visit to get her mind off things back home. When Jules and Mason meet, a misunderstanding has Jules shooting daggers at playboy Mason. Fate keeps throwing them together and soon all their pent up frustration over each other reaches a boiling point where they give in to their bodies desires despite how much they hate each other. Sometimes hate can be as deep a feeling as love. For two people who despise each other to the extreme and are as different as day & night, they sure know how to burn up the sheets and revv one another’s engines.
When Jules learns she’s pregnant with Mason’s child, everything about their relationship begins to change. Enemies become allies brought together for the good of their unborn child. Tragedy soon strikes the fledgling couple and it’s all Jules can do to hold on as Mason pushes himself away from everyone he cares about including Jules. A moment of clarity has Mason running to try & win Jules back, determined to make things work. Just as the couple begins to work through things, the past comes back to haunt them. Will Jules & Mason ever get their happy ending or are they just meant to be kept apart?

Would I recommend this book? Yes, ages 18+. Mature audience.
Would I read more from this author? Yes!
Jules and Mason started off with a hate relationship that was heating up quickly. This book had a few different stories going on to make Mason whole . I appreciated the way the Author touched on the parents and grandmother relationship with Mason. I do wish there would of been more discussion with the mother before she just shows up at the wedding . I Laughed and Cried . I would highly recommend this book . First time reader but not last time .
This is the 2nd book in this amazing series, and is Mason and Jules’s story. This is a well written story which is filled with humor, action, drama, suspense, intrigue, heartbreak, explosive chemistry, and is a sweet read with witty banter. I was enthralled throughout and highly recommend for all readers.
A real gem! I really enjoyed reading this one! Loved the storyline and all the characters. Love the chemistry between Jules and Mason. Would love to read more about this couple and their friends.

I loved the chemistry and the banter between Jules and Mason. Sparks were flying between them from the very first time that they meet. Jules knows he looks like trouble, but damn, she can’t deny that he is a sexy hunk of a fireman. You start off thinking that Mason is just a one and done guy who doesn’t care for anyone but himself, but you start seeing the real him once you start peeling back the layers. His relationship with his grandma is one of my favorite parts of the book. He is going to have to deal with his past if he is going to have a chance at a future with Jules. Then you have Jules, who needs to deal with the pressing issue of her ex, Kyle. His obsession with her has forced her out of town to get away from him, and could result in someone getting hurt. That guy is a few fries short of a Happy Meal, for sure. Added to her already crazy life, is the baby she will be having with Mason. Spending so much time together has deepened their feelings for each other, but will outside forces derail their relationship, or can the two of them learn to trust that their love is strong enough to have a future together? Y’all, this book has what you need. Romance, intrigue, sizzling sex. Loved it!

This was my first time reading anything by this author, I’m positive it won’t be the last. I thought the storyline was great, I loved the push and pull relationship between these two characters. Mason is a broken character that is trying to overcome a hard upbringing. While Jules is suffering from a bad break up. Throw in a little suspense with a stalker and I thought it was an easy 5 star read!
I enjoyed the book from start to finish. The characters have chemistry and are well developed and engaging. The storyline flowed smoothly and easily.

Jacie Lennon is a new to me author and I will be reading more. I loved the characters in this book. It is book two in the series but stands alone well. I did not read the first and followed just fine. Thee is a lot going on from a cheating ex, to meeting mace whom Jules doesn’t like at all, He is a commitment-phobe and she isn’t wanting to get involved in another relationship after just being hurt, then a big ooops, Mason has to deal with another loss that really rattles him and a mother that decides after all the years to want to come back in the picture and Jules dealing with an Ex that becomes a bit stalkerish.
For me, the story started out slow, then picked up the pace. Once it really got going and all of this stuff arose it was very good.
I absolutely loved this book. It is the second book in the Slow Burn series. It can be enjoyed as a standalone but there will be some spoilers from the first book. This is Mason and Jules story. You meet them in the first book because they are friends with Ezra and Hanna whose story is book one.
Jules goes to visit Hanna after her breakup with her fiancée Kyle. Kyle is controlling and abusive. While she’s there for her visit Jules meets and hooks up with Mason. They have a one-night stand that ends up with a surprise for the both of them. Mason never planned on settling down or having kids. He now has to decide if he wants to be with Jules and be the father or walk away from it all. To top it all off Jules is having issues with her ex. Will they be able to work through their issues and make their relationship work?
