When all Lincoln’s friends were not out avidly looking for the one, Lincoln was. He wanted that forever person. The one. But he was always searching for that person in all the wrong ways. After a couple weeks he’d get sick of them or vice versa and he’d be looking again. Then here comes Gemma, Jules little sister and they became the sweetest couple! I loved them! They were so cute! I also love how far Jessica Gadziala goes in her epilogues! We get to see what the couples are up to years and years down the road. Whether it’s marriage or babies or even dogs they got. It makes it that much better.
Today, after reading this amazing book, I thought about how Jessica’s books affected me from the beginning (since April 2015). After every book by Jessica I just feel peaceful and happy, emotional balanced and I’ve read all her ~60 books.
I don’t know if that makes sense, but her books are just written in a way that gives you a total peace of mind after reading them, maybe partly because of an epic HEA in every story. The unique and flawless way she writes made her my first unicorn author. Every time I read her book, I finish it with a smile on my face. Don’t get me wrong. Some of her books have lots of action, chaos and destruction in them, but the end result is always the same, I’m happy and balanced and can’t wait for her next book.
This book is the 6th book in the Professionals series. This is Gemma’s and Lincoln’s story. Lincoln the calm and peaceful “Middle Man” at the Fixer’s office. Someone that was always a little bit sad and guarded. Always the one-woman man. Always looking for the right one and never been able to really be happy.
Gemma was always that wild hippie girl. She love nature and her environment. She tried to change the world for the future generations. She is easy going and open minded about almost everything and everyone.
That’s exactly what put her in a precarious situation.
And that’s what brought her to Lincoln, her massive crush from the office .
Gah! I loved their story. They are so incompatible at first glance, but so perfect when they are forced to live together.
I could probably write a book about my love for this couple and their story, but it would be not fun for you to read it afterwards .
So no more spoilers .
I highly recommend this book to all the romance lovers.
Read this book and enjoy
I definitely enjoyed every second of this book
The cover of this book is a perfect portrait of one of the heartwarming scenes in the book. After you read the book that picture comes to mean a lot after the incredible story the author wrote about two people’s journey to love. The author once again gives us a epic romance with sides of suspense, humor and great secondary characters from previous books, characters we hope will be getting their own book one day and the greatest epilogues.
If you’ve never tasted the flavor of Jessica Gadziala’s writing, you can’t possibly understand how riveting her plots, how personable her characters or how addictive her books are, not to mention how versatile this author is.
With THE MIDDLE MAN Jessica Gadziala has dialed back the rough edges she is known for and it fits the budding romance between the Earth Mother, Gemma and the Mediator of Compromises, Lincoln.
Gemma finds herself in trouble and Lincoln finds himself willing to do anything it takes to keep her safe while exposing criminal intent in a large corporation. Warm, tentative romance begins to heat up as Gemma finds herself in over her head and Lincoln is determined to keep her from drowning in her problems, in spite of the alarm bells going off in his head that Gemma has been off limits for years. The problem? She isn’t a kid anymore. Gemma is all grown up and her heart of gold is ready to be shared with the one man she has always had a crush on.
This is a sweet romance with some prickly edges, but Jessica Gadziala has worked it all out with some help from old friends and of course, her dazzling imagination that doesn’t stop when the tension has been resolved, it flashes forward so we may indeed, have the rest of the story! Love her style, her characters and Navesink Bank!
I received a complimentary ARC edition from Jessica Gadziala! This is my honest and voluntary review.
The Middle Man was such a sweet, low key suspenseful, have you swooning all over the place read. Sweet sweet Gemma with the best of intentions has gotten herself into a bit of trouble but fate intervenes in the form of Lincoln. These two GAH! all the slow burn with ALL THE FEELS! Trust me when I say you’ll definitely be walking around with heart eyes after reading this one. Seriously, so so good
This 6th book in the Professionals series was another wonderful read. I loved both Gemma and Lincoln so much. Gemma was the little sister that was always off limits, but she is now an adult and the close proximity due to the situation she found herself in, was making it harder and harder for Lincoln to keep things platonic.
Lincoln was a very interesting hero, he had this reputation of jumping into relationships too quickly, but when you learn his history, you can’t help but love him. Gemma, I just adored, she is a free spirit, easy going, has that hippie vibe and she is on a mission to save the environment.
And this is the cause of her current troubles, but luckily she had Lincoln to rely on.
Lincoln and Gemma’s love story was a bit on the slow burn side, mostly due to Lincoln’s hands off mentality, but when danger becomes real for Gemma all those thoughts go out the window.
Overall, The Middle Man was another great read. The chemistry, suspense and, of course, the fantastic epilogue was just awesome.
