The Cuffing Season (noun) “During the fall and winter months, people who would normally rather be single or promiscuous find themselves along with the rest of the world desiring to be “Cuffed” or tied down by a serious relationship.” The Urban DictionaryHarry Davis needs help. He’s in a dead-end retail job, when all he wants to do is write the next great American novel. Meanwhile, his best friend … great American novel. Meanwhile, his best friend Preston is obsessed with finding true love before the holiday season begins, and he’s dragging Harry along for the ride, whether he likes it or not.
When Harry’s mentor suggests that the guys use their adventures to write a series of articles on seeking love from a man’s point of view, Harry isn’t sure about the idea. Still, desperate times call for desperate measures, and this could be the break he’s been seeking.
If the new column goes viral, it could change everything, opening doors Harry’s only dreamed of finding. But will he realize that the real prize is much closer—and more unexpected—than he imagined?

The Cuffing Season will have you laughing so much that you will start to cry. It is a quick delightful story of friends trying to find that special someone.
As Harry and Preston search for someone to spend the holidays with, Sophia has only eyes for Harry, if only he could open his.
Enjoy this sweet story of navigating through love.

The Cuffing Season is set in the Fifty Frogs world. Vivian is on maternity leave and tags her friend Harry to step in and write her column for a few weeks. Harry has a great idea on how to find his soul mate called The Cuffing Season. He plots it step by step over the course of a few weeks and thinks he has found a winner in Faith. She works at the bookstore downstairs from him at the mall. She is a perfect yee.
Sophia and Preston are Harry’s friends and cohorts in this new adventure. Preston is trying his own version of the cuffing season and Sophia thinks the boys have lost their collective minds. She does however find someone special when she wasn’t even looking.
Will Harry find his one true soul mate during cuffing season, or has his perfect yee been right under his nose this whole time? I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy. A cute holiday tale about the season and finding love.
I will admit I clicked on the book because I liked prior quirky romance books from Tawdra . Then I saw the title- and commented that I didn’t think she wrote THAT kind of stories, but ok, I’ll read on.
As a coffee shop reveal makes it clear, THIS story means getting a steady relationship in advance of the holidays, when folks want to have a romantic partner in their lives. Less naughty than I thought.
Another fun and quirky series of dating and retelling.
Funny, more than a little awkward at times- so more funny.
Loads of love stuff and laughter!

This story was cute and silly and made me feel really old and jaded. Though, at least half the reason for that is probably because I am. The overall plot is pretty much what I expected for Harry’s love life, but the outlandish situations he and his friends landed in while getting there kept me laughing all the way to the end of the book.

This is a fun, entertaining story with strong characters in best friends Harry,Preston and Sophia. The author does a great job bringing the story to life with her descriptive writing and detailed scenes. I enjoyed watching the realization of what’s been right in front of them and reading their story. I would recommend this book.

Harry, Preston, and Sophia are best friends. They do everything together, so when the holidays come around no one has a date. That is where cuffing season comes into the story. The cuffing season is where no one wants to be alone for the holidays.
Harry and Preston are searching for their “yee” woman. Which is a woman who has everything. She is the perfect package. Looks, brains, personality etc. As they search, one of them has his yee right in front of him and she has been there for several years.
Happy reading.
I loved the ending to this book. I laughed throughout this whole book. I would like to read more by this author in the near future.

I found this book to be a very enjoyable read with the well written storyline and well rounded characters that kept my attention throughout the entire book!
Sophia and Harry’s romance in Tawdra Kandle’s The Cuffing Season (The Anti-Cinderella Chronicles) was a fun one to read about. It was a pleasure (and a giggle at times) to see how it developed, and I loved Harry’s column. All in all this was an enjoyable read that put a smile on my face and which I’m happy to recommend.
A short quick read about single people that dont want to be alone over the festive season and set out to find their soulmates or partners during the cuffing season. This was a fun and witty read which i found would be better suited for readers in their 20s.
Harry and his best friend Preston decide to find themselves partners during the cuffing season which leads to an online column detailing all their adventures while looking for that perfect woman…Harry is so blinded by finding the perfect woman that he doesnt even notice that she has been right under his nose the whole time

I’ve read several books written by Tawdra Kandle; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.

Not up to the usual standard of a book written by Ms. Kandle and I have read and enjoyed quite a number of them. Normally I thoroughly enjoy her tongue-in-cheek sense of humor but that was missing here and the book seemed too simplistically juvenile and just fell flat for me. I will continue to read her books though, as I refuse to give up on her just because of one book I did not care for!

Harry, Preston and Sophia have been friends for a few years. Having recently graduated from college, they’re ready to begin the rest of their lives. This is their tale of what’s to come next. It’s a quick, fast-paced story of primarily Harry’s romantic exploits as he explores the start of a writing career. The characters are interesting, and the story is a fun, easy read that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. I highly recommend this very enjoyable, light-hearted romance.
