I love reading stories in this series since order doesn’t have to be adhered to for the enjoyment of the story. I enjoyed reading about Holly and Calvin. I thought the bit of mystery as well as romance was balanced out and the quotes at the beginning of each chapter works well with the story. This was a nice read that was hard to put down.
I received a copy of this book from the author, I was not required to give a favorable review. This is a beautiful Christmas Christian Novella, the story if very touching and shows that with a little help everyone is not above getting help. Holly moved to Wyoming from Ohio to follow a friend who had to leave her abusive ex-boyfriend. She doesn’t now exactly where her friend in Wyoming but she knows it’s a small town. Holly needs to start anew also. She loves her family, but since her mother’s death her dad is not doing so well, her brother is willing to take care of him. Calvin comes from a family with lots of money but he has such strong faith in God and is afraid of getting in a relationship because too many women look at him for his money. But something about Holly is different, but the great thing he find out is her faith. But the they have to deal with catching her friends ex-boyfriend that found out where Holly is and wants to know where Lexie is, and then a baby finding it’s way to Calvin’s front door and finding the mother to help her. The plus it brings them together.
This book helped to put me in the holiday mood. I enjoyed the interactions between the characters and the inspirational message the author gave to the reader. I would have like a little more suspense with Holly’s friend’s ex later on in the story, but overall, the plot was very good.
I really enjoyed this book. I love the entire Whispers in Wyoming series.
This book showed two hard working people, coming from two different types of lives. Holly comes from a family that is struggling after the loss of her Mother. She feels she needs to get out on her own and away from her home in Ohio. She decides on Wyoming, and follows her heart. She finds a job she loves as a reporter on the Local Paper.
