Cole:Dane was everything I wanted to be in high school. Popular, confident, insanely hot. He was also my best friend and secret crush until I managed to screw that up.When I see him again after nearly a decade apart, I’m floored. If anything, he’s even sexier. But more importantly, he’s not holding any grudges. In fact, he seems… when my soon-to-be sister-in-law drops a little secret about him, I’m done for.
I want him. It doesn’t have to be forever. I just need one night, one down and dirty interlude on my primarily vanilla existence, and I’ll be set for life.
Dane:
The second I spot Cole at his brother’s wedding, I might as well be back in high school all over again.
All those old feelings come rushing back: the pining—my god, the pining I did for this man—and all the regret I’ve carried for being too afraid to tell him back then.
But now that Cole’s out of the closet and looking for something a little…different, I can’t resist. Because that happens to be my forte, and I’m more than happy to give him exactly what he needs.
One wild night should be enough to leave us both satisfied, right?
REUNION is 35K words of angst-free humor, swoony moments, light impact play, creative and liberal use of dessert foods, and two men who get the second chance they deserve with each other.

This steamy hot friends to lovers romance between Cole and Dane included funny siblings, a different kind of love of food and a touch of a walk on the wild side. Funny, sweet and hot, this story covered all the points needed for a happily ever after.
It’s safe to say that I’ll never look at cake the same way again.
I’ve made no secret of the fact that Neve Wilder’s, “Want Me,” is one of the hottest books I’ve read this year. Since reading that one early in the year, I’ve read and loved all of her books. They’ve all had that perfect mix of steam, snark and feels. Her couples always have this chemistry that, if it could be bottled, people would pay for. “Want Me,” though had an extra layer of naughty deliciousness. That’s why I was beyond delighted to find that she brought that extra layer of yummy to, “Reunion.” Get your fan out. I know it’s November but trust me, you’ll need it.
“Reunion,” is a second chance romance. Cole and Dane, best friends in high school, meet up at the wedding of Cole’s brother, nearly ten years later. They lost touch after high school, but never forgot each other or the feelings they were too scared to reveal back then. Can they get their acts together this time?
I loved everything about this book. It had zero angst, delectable kink, sweet feels and humor. And then there’s that whole cake thing…
I have only had the pleasure of reading a handful of Neve Wilder’s work and I am excited to say that she has a big time fan in me. Dane and Cole have been friends since high school and each had a crush on the other, but never said anything because they were afraid of the pressure from classmates. They grew apart with their feelings still unknown. Fast forward several years and they run into each other at Cole’s brother, Aaron’s, wedding. And his bride is Shay, Dane’s best friend. There are so many little things that happen between Cole and Shay, Shay and Dane, Shay and Aaron that it’s hard to pick just one to expand on. I can say that Shay is hilarious and takes Cole out of his comfort zone. I laughed my butt off. I highly recommend this book and will read it again just for the laughs. The romance between Dane and Cole has been a long time coming and they were just perfect together. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Neve Wilder needs to keep writing kink. Reunion features impact play and left me wanting more, more, more! As usual, Neve’s writing is clear, mature, and so easy to read that the novella ends entirely too soon. Dane and Cole need another book to explore their relationship and other areas of BDSM. There may not be any angst but there’s plenty of tension and the sex is just this side of Want Me’s all-out erotica. The dialogue is snappy and often snarky. The characters are interesting and relateable, even the secondary cast. In fact, Chase needs his own HEA. Not going to say why, read it and you’ll see
What a great read by Neve Wilder
This short, sweet romance between high school friends who meet up ten years later, was the perfect combination of hot, sexy and all the feels! It was so easy to fall in love with these two, I could totally go for more of Cole and Dane!
The character and relationship development between these two was spot on. Sometimes novellas can feel rushed to me, but I didn’t get that at all here. Maybe it’s because the guys had been close in high school, I don’t know, regardless the journey to find their HEA was perfect.
The connection between Cole and Dane was explosive and the banter between the two of them made my heart melt. The ability to pull me into her world and love these men has quickly made Neve Wilder a #OneClick author for me
The chemistry in Neve’s books is what makes them so special to me. Her characters leap off the page fully formed as interesting, witty, and perfectly flawed people. The chemistry between Cole and Dane was a perfect example of this. They were engaging, sweet, playful, and sexy and at 35K words, they definitely left me wanting more. Even the supporting characters had so much personality, like Chase–or even Merkle for heaven’s sake!–they almost demanded their own books.
Reunion was a quick read and had zero angst. It was sweet, salty, and a whole lotta sexy. Excellent installment to the Ace’s Wild series.

A FUN SEXY READ WITH LOTS OF OTHER STUFF, TOO
Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of Neve Wilder. This story is no different. It’s an easy 6 “Plus” stars rating from me, if there was such a thing.
The story takes us on a journey following Cole and Dane, old high school buddy’s that had drifted apart over the years. We get to watch the re-connect and subsequent love story that unfolds between the two of them. It is a beautiful love story to watch grow and flourish.
The story line is solid. The characters are wonderfully fulfilling and well placed. The premise of the book is fun and edgy. There were more laughs than there was angst. More steam than pain, pun intended—read the book and you’ll get the pun. It really was a great read and I have every intention of reading the entire Ace’s Wild Series.
Neve shows off her talent with this one; writing a book that is smoking hot as well as cavity-inducing sweet! Dane is lovably goofy yet perfectly assertive at all the right times. Finally a novella that doesn’t feel like insta-love and leaves you feeling satisfied.
I think even Marie Antoinette last queen of France would have quoted herself and say “Let them eat cake”
Please, call the Fire department my Kindle and I are engulf in flames!!!!
HFS this is one hot AF , sexy , fun and sweet Rom-Com.
The same author, who wrote Want Me and changed how I view libraries bookcases for the rest of my life. Have done it again!!
I will never see a strawberry cake and vanilla ice cream without getting all squirrelly and excited. Yep, just like Cole , one of the heroes of Reunion said “I have Pavlovian reactions now. I’m ruined.”
Reunion by Neve Wilder will make you laugh and horny in equal measures. A very entertaining, light hearted and and feel good story.
I especially liked reading this book because after a complicated day at work, this tale took me out of my head space and left me feeling better and lighter.
When Neve Wilder gets her kink on your usually in for one heck of a ride and in this case a sweet one. Literally too I might add. Cole and Dane were best friends in high school until they weren’t anymore. Years later, Cole and Dane are brought together again by a wedding. The chemistry between then is very intense. I loved it! You get some light BDSM, impact play, and cake. Yes, I said cake. You not only get friends to lover, but this story also had a second-chance romance feel to it even though it wasn’t, which I absolutely loved. This is an amazing story I highly recommend giving it a try.
Holy hotness ya’ll! This was such an amazing read! Once I got started on Dane and Cole’s story, I didn’t put it down! I read it straight through and it was the hottest, steamiest, and sweetest read! I found myself both laughing and fanning myself as I read their story! Ahem, pineapple? Haha. I loved their level of kink, and it may take awhile before I eat vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce and NOT think of of this! This was a fantastic addition to the Ace’s Wild charity series and I know this is one I will come back to read again! Well done!
Need a handkerchief?
Neve Wilder, you never fail to amaze me with your fantastic writing that’s so incredibly hot! “A watermelon was only the first of many fruits sacrificed…” but what a way to go and makes me want to be a fruit. Cole is adorably snarky and Dane is extremely sexy. He challenges Cole to enact his fantasies and I’m surprised my pages didn’t burn. Also, that’s my kind of magic shop.
I loved the text exchange between Cole and Dane as well as Cole and Shay, so funny. Christmas bunting is such a pretty color and I need some chocolate and ice cream. Also, Cole’s onto something with his new cake frosting. I’m so proud of him for his speech to Jason. Absolutely loved the epilogue; it was sweet in more ways than one, but my favorite part of this book was the dialogue that constantly ran between Dane and Cole no matter what they’re doing together. They are simply perfect. An amazing addition to this series that’s full of heat, laughter and so much love.
