FROM EXCITING AUTHOR OF REVERSE HAREM ROMANCE, JAYCE CARTERBook three in The Omega’s Alphas seriesIt’ll take all three alphas to see to this omega’s needs. After getting free from her abusive mate, Tracy wants nothing to do with another alpha. For omegas like her, getting involved with alphas isn’t worth the risk. However, when an old business associate of her mate threatens her, she has no choice … of her mate threatens her, she has no choice but to turn to Sam. The detective is handsome and charming, but Tracy won’t let herself fall for that again.
Five years have passed since Sam fell out of contact with his best friends, Mason and Dylan, but with Tracy in danger, he has to call in both alphas, despite the bad blood between them. Some rifts are hard to mend, and the three face more fractures when they find themselves drawn by the same omega yet again.
Tracy has no idea how to deal with the three alphas, and even as the life they offer tempts her, she resists. They all bear the scars of romance-gone-bad, and the risk of giving in seems too costly. As Tracy and the alphas struggle to stay one step ahead of the men after her and the alphas work to put a broken friendship back together, they all have to fight to move forward. Can they put the past to rest or will it bury them all?

The last thing Tracy wants, after being in an abusive relationship, is to get involved again. Especially when it involves not just one – but three! – alpha males. Three very different alpha males though, all of whom are determined to keep her on her toes. Her young daughter, Karen, remains her top priority though.
This is a full length novel which gives it time to go into detail about Tracy’s past, how she knows Sam, how Sam knows Mason and Dylan, etc. It isn’t rushed in any way which made it a delight to read. It was great to see not only Tracy grow and thrive, but Karen too. Dylan also has to have his epiphany and ‘Come to Mama’ moment, so having time to read about each character without feeling like it is rushing to the end was wonderful.
The world-building is excellent and the characters likeable – apart from those you’re not supposed to! The author definitely researched the emotional and psychological states of an abused spouse and was able to eloquently give that information to the reader without it being an info-dump.
This book does share some page time with Claire, Bryce, Joshua, and Kaiden from book one, Owned by the Alphas, but you don’t have to have read that for this one to make sense. This was a brilliant read, thoroughly enjoyed by me, and highly recommended.
This romance was cleanly written and well edited, with few typos or wrong word choices or incorrectly constructed sentences. However, the blurb on this novel gave me the impression that the novel I would be reading would contain exciting action and suspense. The very beginning of this novel had some action and suspense elements, as did the very end, but the 70% of this novel contained in the middle had almost no action or suspense, or really anything plot related happening at all. Hooray for more truly romantic m/f omegaverse romances where the heroes are actually heroic and not abusive sociopaths. Kudos to the author for that. However, this book was kind of a boring read and I really disliked Dylan and the way he treated the heroine. I’m not the kind of reader who has any sympathy for romance novel heroes who whine and say all women are awful because he has had a bad experience with a few. That’s toxic patriarchy in play and I have no patience for that kind of nonsense. I thought the heroine had way more cause to have the attitude that all Alpha’s are monsters than Dylan did to say all omega’s are monsters. My advice to the heroine would be to kick whiny Dylan to the curb. She deserved way better, in my opinion. Also, the heroes did not give the heroine the mating bite or establish the mating bond with the heroine at the end of this novel. I actually re-read the ending to make sure I hadn’t just missed the mating bite and the establishment of the mating bond, but no, it was completely missing as far as I could tell. I find omegaverse romances where there is no mystical or psychic mating bonds intensely disappointing, just like I find romances with cliffhanger or Happy For Now endings intensely disappointing. Only Happy Ever After endings for this reader. I do not recommend this omegaverse romance.

Omega Tracey (FMC) has had a hard life. Struggling with anxieties from years of abuse at the hands of her recently deceased Alpha husband shes trying to piece together a new life with her daughter – Karen. Until things from her old life come back to threaten her new one. With the help of 3 Alphas – Sam, Mason and Dylan she has to learn to get past her fears and learn to trust. I just wanted to hug Tracey in this book. She was so painfully shy, scared and anxious that you couldnt help but feel for her and her sweet daughter Karen. Wiling her to get a HEA ending. This is a sweet and steamy read. Its so good
I really liked this standalone addition to this series. Not only is it well written but it has dynamic characters with background stories. There is amazing and sizzling chemistry between Tracy and her Alpha. I like that while Tracy’s kid was not a big part of the story she was not forgotten. I really hope there are more books added to this series.

I am voluntarily reviewing this ARC provided by the author thru Bookstrand. This world of the Alphas and Omegas that Jayce has created has me hooked. Even as I review Tracys story, I am counting down to the next book. Tracys abuse kept her from getting close to Sam no matter what she craved with her heart. She feels she must stand alone while raising her daughter. Sam gets hurt trying something he thought would keep her safe. When he wakes in the hospital, his two best friends have been called as his emergency contacts. The problem being is that Sam, Mase and Dylan had broke their friendship up over a woman years prior. Now Tracy is not only hiding from some bad men, but she is now overwhelmed with the three alphas squaring off while trying to protect her. She does not want to feel anything for them. Can these men get over the past mistakes involving another woman to keep her alive? Tracy has so much thrown at her at once and has no idea of her strength. She feels ashamed, weak and unworthy. But she has three mates who will support her even while learning to work together as a unit again. I highly recommend this book. You will not be disappointed

Sam, Mason and Dylan shared an omega before, but not one like Tracy. Another steamy read in this scalding-hot series.
