This is a collection of books four to six in this cozy paranormal mystery series. Each story works well as a standalone, so it is not necessary to read the previous books before starting here.
The series continues to rock with three more books in one handy bundle. I found the stories to be well written and easy to follow, but with plots that contain lots of twists and turns which keep you guessing as to who that bad guy (or gal) is, which is how it should be. The setting setting is well crafted and detailed, but we learn new things in each book which helps keep things fresh. We also have a diverse cast of crazy characters that really bring the entire thing to a boil. I am really enjoying this series and look forward to reading more.
Highly recommended.

I absolutely love Lily Webb books and the boxed sets are the best. There is nothing wrong with reading individual books, but I prefer to read continuously without stopping. This is a great series and I can’t wait to read the next book.

Magic & Mystery is filled with magic, mystery, suspense, witches, shifters, warlocks and much more.
Heists & Homicides:
While Zoe was applying for a loan at the Bank of Moon Grove the bank is robbed and the bank president is killed. Zoe Clarke is back investigating and as always crazy magical things happen along the way. Can Zoe figure out what is going on and find the killer at the same time or will she be the next target?
Covens & Coffins:
Zoe is running for head witch of Moon Grove but quickly finds she’s been accused of murder. What else can Zoe do but put her investigative journalist skills to work and find the killer. I am loving this series and Zoe is one of my favorite characters.
Vampires & Vanishings:
Zoe won the election and is the new head witch of Moon Grove. Just when you think she’s finally going to catch a break council members start disappearing. Now Zoe needs to put her investigative journalist skills to work again and find out what’s going on.
The three novels included in the Magic and Mystery Series Collection are very enjoyable. Zoe is relatively new to Moon Grove and also to her powers. She doesn’t find her mishaps hilarious (but I do). I recommend the entire series.

Knowing the background of Moon Grove makes it easier to understand the stories, but even if you have never read of Zoe and the magical town of Moon Grove you can still make sense of the stories. Moon Grove is a special town, full of paranormal citizens and Zoe is one of the latest additions to town, a journalist and a newly discovered witch. Combining her skills she is the investigative journalist of the town paper and solves mysteries on the side.
A funny, entertaining series with lovable characters.
This is a boxed set of three stories. As always, the stories are highly entertaining, well-written and enjoyable.

I truly love this series, Lily Webb is up there as one of the best cozy authors (In my opinion) and being able to read the second bundle of three is really handy (no waiting between each book for downloads!!) Once I start reading an entry in this series I cannot put it down, and with this bundle you won’t have to! Lily is a great author, she makes me laugh out loud and sob real tears (especially book 6)
If you are a lover of cozy paranormal mysteries, you cannot go wrong with this series, The Who Done it is never as obvious as you think it is, the mystery is always clever and the magic always well.. magic!
These are my reviews for each book (also can be found on each individual book)
Heists and Homicides – Book 4
Zoe and grandma Elle are planning on staying in Moon Grove, but they need a place to live and on the same day Zoe receive sa to that all is not as it should be at the bank on the new tip line at the paper, the pair go to find out about a loan from the bank, before they can Shi John on the dotted line chaos ensues, a long term Customer is ejected from the bank making threats a he leaves, the manager receives a strange phone call and then POW the bank is robbed and the manager dead, Zoe is of on another adventure…
This one sees us finding out a lot more about the past, Zoe’s history to be precise, Zoe is determined to solve this, but it’s she being pulled in and lead a merry dance, and why?
Covens and Coffins – Book 5
This is my favourite entry yet, Zoe has been convinced to stand for Head Witch, though a new comer to Moon Grove, she’s made her presence felt for the good of the community! With her friends around to keep her (ahem) grounded Zoe is once again thrown into the mist of a murder, one which makes her look guilty, so despite her friends trying to stop her she must do this this if she wants the position, with protest groups on all sides of the fence vying for her, can she solve this in time for the ballot?
An intriguing murder mystery and a political plot!!! Zoe never disappoints, i would have liked to heard more from Luna the talking cat, but like everything in this series Lily Webb doesn’t do anything without a reason, i believe there’s much more to come from Zoe and Luna, (especially Luna, there is a story there, I can smell it!!) and i for one can’t wait!
Vampires and Vanishings – Book 6
Now the elected HEAD Witch, Zoe is now ready for her first official Moon Grove’s town meeting, but Zoe is not the only new official in town, the meeting is interrupted by the new head vampire with a werewolf entourage, asking (demanding) that the Town’s other paranormals have place on the Town Council. It is decided their will be a vote of the council.
The vampires have abolished their monarchy and now have an elected head vampire who is a new citizen to Moon Grove, another new pale face is the vampire hot shot journalist who has replaced Zoe at the newspaper, who is keen to interview HER (how the tables have turned, Zoe is so used to doing the interviews not being the interviewee!
Amongst, Interviews and meeting her boyfriend Beau’s parents, Zoe feels like she does not have a moment to herself, then in the run-up to the critical vote, a member of the council goes missing! Whilst investigating, so does another, then it gets really personal when her beloved Grandma is the next to go missing,. Zoe is chasing all over town trying to find the critical clue that will return them unharmed,..
This is another strong entry into the Magic & Mystery series, I love each of these characters and though we may not see as many of them in this one as the prior books, we do say goodbye to one beloved character, I can not tell you the tears I cried! But that is the sign of a good author, Lily Webb can make me laugh like a Hyena and cry like a baby and hae every other emotion in between

Zoe is on the case again. These three stories are the continuation of Zoe Clarke and her nose for news and mystery solving. In the first book she has to find out who murdered a bank president and is trying to steal a powerful artifact kept in the vault. In the next book Zoe is running for Head Witch, but others are out to make her look young and inept, and have a hidden agenda to use her for their own purposes. In the third book the vampires are trying to force the witch council to include leaders from the other magical communities. Everyone has their opinions, sometimes violently. But before the vote can happen council members are abducted and their security people killed. Who wants to stop the vote? Or is there something else going on? Zoe is learning more about herself and the town she lives in. There are interesting characters and the storyline makes the reader want to read the next book to see what else could possibly happen with Zoe and the town. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this boxset.

*** Reviewing “HEISTS AND HOMICIDES – BOOK 4” ***
Preparing to leave work at the Moon Grove Messenger for the day, both Zoe’s phone and computer alerted her to a message from the tip line. It read: “Attn Zoe Clarke: The Bank of Moon Grove is in big trouble. Percy Thornheart knows why.” She didn’t know who Percy was, so she stopped by to see Mitch Harris, her werewolf editor-in-chief, in case he had any information to add. With all the secrecy and the protective spells cast on the bank, no one had been able to investigate previously. But with Zoe’s telepathic abilities, she thought she might be able to do more digging. Percy, she was told, had inherited the bank from his father, and Percy may have a gambling problem – a bad habit for a banker.
It was good timing for her to visit the bank since she could investigate a little while checking about a mortgage to buy a house. Grandma Elle had recently moved to Moon Grove and was staying with Raina, Headmistress of the magical school Zoe attended. Zoe had been staying with her co-worker, Flora Gemwood. Although she didn’t particularly want to share a house with Gram, it would probably be the best choice for both of them.
When Zoe got home, Gram suggested they keep the farm rather than sell it, and get a loan to build a house instead. That way if her parents ever returned to the farm, since they may still be alive, they would at least have a sort of connection to find them. This fits in perfectly with Zoe’s plans to visit the Bank of Moon Grove, this time for a loan rather than a mortgage, and maybe a chance to get close to the staff.
Predictably, when Zoe is involved, things go a little crazy and the bank is robbed. The owner is caught in the crossfire and his murder may be an act of revenge. Zoe is thinking this robbery is an inside job because what robber would hold one of the owners hostage in the vaults, then leave without taking a single coin? Or was there something else of interest? When another robbery happens, Zoe needs to step up her game! There are more than enough suspects, but can she discover the killer before someone else is killed or – even worse — before she becomes the murderer’s next target?
I love this fun series! The story lines in all of the books will definitely hold the reader’s attention as they race along in each exciting tale! We meet familiar characters and some new ones, and the mystery keeps things hopping in Moon Grove! Grab your box set and join the hunt for the murderers!

Bk 6

The saga of Zoe Clarke takes back up with her after she wins the seat on the Witches counsel. Life is never boring when reading the latest happenings involving the village of Moon Grove.
Luna is still as snarky, Grandma is still a sweet heart, Beau has been keeping a secret and the town will face great change.
This book took a more serious and sinister turn but it was really great reading to the end.

In the books in this collection, Zoe really starts to claim her skills and identity as a witch in a magical community.
With friends, foes, family and exceptional allies and betrayals, she begins to claim her skills and her place in this magical world.
It is dangerous. It is difficult and it is amazing.
A powerful and magical coming of age story.

Heists and Homicides Book 4
There might be truth in the tales we are told as children. Zoe witnesses a bank robbery and all its excitement while applying for a loan. Guess where this is going now.
The nice thing is that Zoe may still be new with magic , she is definitely growing and learning her magic. Imagine what she could accomplish if she actually practiced and not chase down stories for her job, lol. Her confidence is growing.
The whodunit was easy to figure out in this book for me. Heebie Jeebies is all I can say without giving it away.
Luna was quiet this book. Must not like the Idea of leaving Zoe’s roommate if they move? Missed that teenage angst, etc.
Covens and Coffins Book 5
I wonder what adventures Zoe will have if she wins the election for Head Witch. What will the newspaper do if it loses it’s star reporter? What about her schooling?
This is best story so far. The intrigue, war between groups, elections and other surprises. Love how the characters are growing, getting some more depth.
One issue I have is that there was tension between the candidates as I expected. It was like they were forgotten about. Kept expecting a subplot with them.
It is amazing how this story reminds me of current situations in the country. The slogan about wands and witches. The backdoor(?) deals to get things done in government. What do you think?
Usually I say can be read by itself, and probably could but at this point you will have to go back and catch up to understand some of the subtlety that is going on.
Vampires and Vanishings Book 6
Paranormal community wants on the council. Zoe is adjusting to her new role as Head Witch, and her former job on the newspaper has a new reporter. As the Council thinks about this proposition, members start to disappear. Why?
I knew who did it and the new guy’s smell being off, but not why. Can you figure it out before Zoe does?
I love that all the books in this series start with a little reminder of what happened in previous book. It takes me right back into Zoe’s world really fast. Thank you.
Really quick fast and enjoyable read. I missed her magic learning like in previous books; also her friends did not have as much to say in this book. I missed them.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
