Boy, does this lady know how to pluck your heartstrings! Well written, very emotional, and steamy, this book actually made me cry a little. I don’t tend to cry easily, but this book really knows how to get to you without going overboard! I loved it!
Wow! Marriage of Convenience by Katy Kaylee is not only frustrating but also so sweet. I loved every moment while I was reading it.
In my opinion Ms.Kaylee is an exceptional writer with her story telling. Not only did she make me believe that I was a part of the characters lives, but I felt the frustration, disappointment and the joy she conveyed on each page.

Blundering through the trials and tribulations, stunning twists, creative turns and crisp lines, blasting this little fella to life brilliantly. The scenes are abundantly detailed and descriptive it gives you a full understanding and realism that flows through smoothly. Remarkable job Katy, thanks for sharing this little fella with us.
Katy Kaylee is a pro at writing the sort of contract turns into real love that’s at the core of her Marriage of Convenience (The Raven Brothers, Book 1). I loved the way that both Sara and Chase developed and grew over the course of this story as they dealt with everything that happened to them. This was an extremely fun, well written tale, with a great plot and a perfect cast. Definitely recommended.
Marriage of Convenience by Katy Kaylee is the first book in the Raven Brothers series. In this book, Sara Sheppard a college student receives the chance to work as an intern for Chase Raven in the Marketing Department of his families corporation. As soon as Chase sees Sara he is very attracted to her and decides that to keep her safe from his brothers he should have her work as his intern. Soon there relationship blossoms and he decides to make her an offer she won’t refuse. This is a unique modern day Cinderella story where the hardworking prince realizes in the end that the princess is more important than the empire. I loved the way these characters are written and the humorous interactions between the four brothers. If you enjoy an entertaining contemporary romance than you will love reading Marriage of Convenience. Marriage of Convenience is a sweet modern day romance.
The billionaire and the wide-eyed intern in the sinful NYC
Marriage of Convenience is the first book in The Raven Brothers series by Katy Kaylee which is the story of four brothers. This story is about the oldest brother Chase and Sara. She has moved to NYC to intern for the Raven family business after dealing with her controlling parents and then her controlling boyfriend in college. Now she has the opportunity to live her own life and make her own decisions. Chase thinks he is going to take over when his father retires but instead his father tell him that there is a condition on the boys inheritances – they must each get married and have one child to be eligible.
Chase looks for the easiest way around this and spots the new and young intern Sara. They strike a bargain that will benefit each of them. Then only problem is that once they are into this Chase becomes more and more attached to Sara and would like the situation to be real. However, her ex comes back into the picture and wants her back and to take her away from all of the sin of the city. (eye roll and sigh please!!!)
This story is fast-paced, fun, entertaining and nicely done by the author. The characters of Chase and Sara are both very likeable and are nicely written. The Raven family was nicely introduced in this first book so the next in the series of brothers books are set-up nicely. I look forward to reading the next in this series.

Fairytale brought to life with sweeping emotions
Marriage of Convenience (Raven Brothers Book 1) by Katy Kaylee is a very well written romance with tons of feels, from vulnerability and naïveté, despair, awe, loss and love.
Sara is the sweetheart who truly is innocence personified while brave, smart and positive. By all rights, she should be the jaded one, however, Chase has jaded down to a science and struggles to realize it he doesn’t really have to be that way.
The plot of this book is multifaceted in that there’s the marriage issue, but also Sara’s past coming to interfere as well. I found this book exciting, a little bit suspenseful making it a page turner and at times breath stealing. In addition to the intriguing plot(s), the characters are really wonderful and well developed. Chase and his brothers are highly engaging which has me captivated with bated breath for the next books in this series! These Raven Brothers are going to fall so hard and I can’t wait to read all about each one of them.
Overall, a very well written book by an author that is new to me and I’m looking forward to reading more of in the future.
Our hero has to get married and have kids to keep his inheritance. Our heroine is fleeing a bad relationship. The arrangement is one of convenience, but doesn’t last long. Where are they going next?
This is the first book of a new modern romance series and I have to say, it is a good way to start. The story is well written and easy to read, but more importantly it is engaging and draws you into the story. The characters are also well written and fully developed, complete with flaws and issues they need to resolve. They also have real chemistry that is apparent from the beginning and makes the story work. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable story and I am looking forward to the next one in this series.
Highly recommended

Everyone has the belief on my love it suppose to be, but for some it’s just someone who is there for them. Sara and Chase’s story is a world wind of hate, lust, desire, ambition, fear, control, love with suspense all leading to their HEA.
Sara moved away from all she knows to get away from her controlling family. She knows when men look at her they only want one thing, and that she is not going to do.
Chase, taken back by his father’s ultimatum, is determined not to let it stop him. He realizes Sara is more than looks, even though he finds it hard to stop himself, he is what the other men in Sara’s list are not, remorseful.
This story shows that you may not always agree with your family, but true love will be there when needed.

I really enjoyed this story so much. The characters, all of them, were so well created it was like people that you know. The story line might have been done many times before about a marriage of convince, to get an inheritance, to keep a child, to get a business, to merge a business/country/pack, but this one was so realistic and brought so many emotions with it, that it was truly fantastic! I have read most of Katy Kaylee’s stories, but I have got to say that this is the best of them all! I am SOOOO looking forward to the rest of the brothers’ stories! The dad isn’t too old to find love again too!
Sara is a nineteen year old girl who was brought in in a strict household. I mean seriously sick strict When she physically developed a figure young, men started to look at her body and didn’t really see her. She did well in school and got a scholarship to college. She wanted to be able to be a new person away from her controlling and strict parents and gets a boyfriend, Glenn, who wants to get married once they both graduate from college and they won’t have sex until they get married. Well, they won’t have sex together, so he is sleeping with her dorm roommate. Yeah, that doesn’t make her feel good about herself. With the issues and problems with her boyfriend, her grades drop and she is about to lose her scholarship when one of her professors offers to get her an Internship with a big company in Manhattan. Yeah, her professor wanted favors in return for the internship, but that would be later. Sara just wanted to get away from her parents, away from her ex and away from her college. She gets the internship and finds a room to rent and starts at her new job. When she is shown around, one of the owners decides that he wants her for his intern so he can protect his brothers from poaching this young girl.
Chase is the oldest of four brothers and their father just did a one-eighty on them. As they were growing up, the father basically ignored his wife and sons because business comes first, second and third above all else. Their father realized after losing his wife, that there is more to life than business. He has seen how all of his sons have taken his business and grown it even more, but none of them have had a serious relationship because they are all married to the business like he was. He has now changed everything so that the only ones that will inherit the multi-billion business that includes hotels and resorts, night clubs, restaurants and golf and tennis clubs, is when they get married and have children. Chase handles the hotels and resorts, Alex handles the nightclubs, Kade handles the restaurants and Hunter handles security. When Chase meets Sara on her first day as she is given the tour of the business, he decides that he wants her to be his intern before Hunter sees her and they have a sexual impropriety issue. What Chase sees is a young college age girl with a body meant for sin. He wants to protect his brothers and company, then when he starts to see the real her, the smart, sweet, somehow innocent girl, he sees a solution to his problem. Yes, he is very attracted to her, more than any other women. So he offers her a solution to both his problem of needing a wife and child and her need for security.
Things take a turn when they start to fall for each other and her past comes back to haunt her. Her professor shows up to collect his dues and when threatened, he goes to the papers. When her ex comes around to ‘save her’ things get scary.

Great story with interesting characters. Sara and Chase might not have been the typical couple as it was a quick, arranged fake marriage of convenience. As most of these genres do, the marriage became real enough that feelings and expectations developed. Some inconsistencies concerning the time line and wacky God praising parents. Having a crazy ex boyfriend and predator Professor certainly made for an interesting ensemble of characters and plots. Not overdone or drawn out with unrequited love and misunderstandings which is always a winner in my book.
