Six prophesied lovers fighting for their survival, one night to pull it all off. While Rune and Finn are on their way to the fae kingdom to help undo the elixir that prevents dragons from shifting, Litha, Phoenix, Bane, Kit and their guests have to flee the cottage they’ve been staying at. It’s only as they reach the academy that they realise how close to being caught by the fae army they were. … by the fae army they were.
But the campus isn’t much safer, the main group of the fae army is only days away, so they have to do everything they can to try and stop the fae king from getting to the forest on the campus ground. Prevent him from using the ancient magical source for his destructive plans.
This is the biggest battle they’ve had to fight yet, and they can’t afford to lose. But how can a group of teens and some random rebel armies win against a well-trained fae army? And how will they stop the fae king?
This is the ninth novella in the Lughnasadh Elite Academy serial, a reverse harem #WhyChoose story. This novella may include any of these elements: steamy scenes, ‘I need tissues NOW’ moments, cries of ‘why, oh, why’ and cliffhangers that make you bite your nails (and curse the author).
This story includes MF, MM and also FF scenes, but everyone is primarily focused on Litha and there are no sexy scenes between the guys and the other girl.

I’ve read this serial from the beginning and loved it! Each books well written and loved the characters and their growth this is the perfect ending for this story and so glad I took the journey!
In this final book the battle with fae king comes to a head. The book is fast paced and has everything you want in a good book. It’s a unique series that i recommend. I volunteered to read this book via Booksprout.
Super read
Rune and Finn head for the Fae kingdom to do what they can about the elixir that prevents dragons from shifting. They barely make it back to the academy! Litha, Phoenix, Bane, Kit and their guests have to flee the cottage and race to the academy. The Fae army is only days away and the Fae king must not reach the forest on the campus grounds to use the ancient magical source against them.
Litha and the others feel very unprepared for this battle. They cannot avoid it. This is one they will have to either win or face certain death, even though it seems that the chance for success is slim. Will they survive?
Wow, this is an action-packed story all the way through. Seeing the growth of the characters while they try to handle a monumental task like this was inspiring. The emotions the author brought forward kept the reader close, tensely following their every move. Could they succeed at this monumental battle? What did they have that the Fae king didn’t? That could make all the difference!
The last book in this series and ive loved reading it so much. Great characters and a great story with plenty of fast paced action and loads of steam. Im sad its ended but im glad it got the ending it did
Litha and the others are back at the academy trying to gather people to fight the fae king. She is worried about Finn and Rune being out there while the fae soldiers are so close. Rune and Finn make it back to the academy a little worse for wear. Rune suprises Litha with what he brought back.
Litha and gang decide to see what the soldiers are doing, they figure out that the fight is happening now. They all feel unprepared to do this. They will not back down. They realize what they are doing and decide to head them off. This this the war that they are prepared to win or die trying.
There a lot a great moments in this book, the book moves at a fast pace. Read what happens when Litha , Phoenix and her men confront the Fae King and the resulting actions.
This was an unique and entertaining story. I look forward to more from this author
Destiny is the last novella in the Lughnasadh Elite Academy Series, at least for now. There is potential for additional stories from this world. The thing I like most about the series is the messages about family, the power of love, and how we can get more accomplished working together. Their concept of family is right on. Biology is a small part of what makes someone’s family. The emphasis on family leaves makes the ceremonies for the four princes coming into their positions as kings and Litha and Phoenix as they become queen and first high priestess very important. Those ceremonies would make this the perfect ending, as well as any ensuing ceremonies binding their kingdoms.
The characters are grown up now, making grown-up decisions, yet most definitely young adults. Incredibly, they have much support from each other, their friends, and their parents. It is their potential that kept me engaged throughout all nine novellas. The fact that they knew they were too young for all that was coming made all that they accomplished that much sweeter. It is also fantastic that the storylines stress the importance of education. All in all, this was a fun series to read, and there is so much more Layla Hart can do with these characters in possible future installments.
After receiving the Advance Review Copy for Book 1 in this series from Booksprout, I purchased the remaining books. I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Good ending to a full series. It remains full of action and suspense until the very end. It wraps things up nicely and leaves the characters in a good place.
