Lady Georgina and Mr Lowell’s story is lovely and gentle. Lord Allerton, Lady Georgina’s brother fumbles to make a good match for his sister under the ton’s censure of his own marriage to an American heiress. When Lady Georgina is betrothed to Lord Poole, she finds his character somewhat superior and dismissive. Having accidentally meeting Mr Lowell, an American visiting family, while escaping from a thunderstorm, Lady Georgina now has a comparison of how a man of character, albeit not one of the ton. Lord Poole’s manner turns quite threatening, when he senses he may now get what he was promised. Intricate story. Thoroughly enjoyable til the end!

This Christmas romance is entertaining. Lady Georgina is engaged through her brother to the disgusting and arrogant Lord Poole. She meets and falls for Oliver, a wealthy American businessman. They fall in love and overcome obstacles.
Nice storyline and plot. Characters are well described and they develop nicely through the story, with a few twists along the way and a little mystery to keep you turning pages.

Mistletoe Magic was a clean, sweet Christmas romance. The characters were well developed and very sweet. Mr. Oliver Lowell was from Boston and was in London visiting his cousin and her husband for the holidays. He was trying to learn all the rules of polite society but having a hard time knowing them all. When he encounters Lady Georgiana in a bookstore, he introduces himself not aware of the rules for introductions. Lady Georgiana was surprised at Oliver’s behavior but since her new sister in law came from America, she was aware of the differences and the difficulties knowing all the proper etiquette. She hadn’t made a match in her previous Seasons so her brother, the Earl of Allerton, is searching for a gentleman for her. He comes to an agreement with Lord Poole, but as Georgiana learns more of what Lord Poole’s marriage expectations are, she becomes worried and frightened. Oliver and Georgiana keep encountering each other and their attraction to each other grows stronger. But can Georgiana cry off from her engagement and cause such a scandal? This was a wonderful holiday story and I couldn’t put it down until the end.

Once again Rose Pearson has provided a hit with this book. Her characters Lady Georgiana and Mr. Oliver Lowell are extremely well written. Georgiana is to marry Lord Poole per her brother. Unfortunately, Georgiana knows all to well what a cad he is and doesn’t want anything to do with him. Oliver, a wealthy American visiting his cousin, finds Georgiana a wonderful woman but how does he keep her? With society’s rules she would be shunned if she married and left with him. Can she go against society and seek happiness?
There are a number of events that happen during this story that will keep Georgiana from finding her HEA, but can she prevail? Totally loved this and would highly recommend.

“Mistletoe Magic” by Rose Pearson
Another sweet clean Regency romance which kept me turning the pages in anticipation of just how the author was going to resolve the growing suspense. I knew how I wanted the story to end… But I was surprised by some of the revelations that brought us to the HEA. I was gifted an ARC of this story by the author. And my honest opinion is… I think you will enjoy your time within in this story, I know I did. Happy Reading ! !
Sweet and Clean Christmas Romance
Almost on the shelf, Lady Georgiana was unsure about her brother’s decision to find her a suitable husband. She had always hoped for love, but no gentleman had yet asked to court her. Maybe her brother, the Earl of Allerton would be able to find her the perfect match.
In this sweet and clean Christmas romance, Lord Allerton means well, and his gentle sister tries to accept his decision, but her heart is just not engaged in the effort. Instead, she finds herself in a bit of a pickle. Thankfully, she also finds her forever happiness.

Mistletoe Magic: A Regency Romance is another sweet book by Rose Pearson. 3 1/2 stars.
Lady Georgiana has been betrothed to a cad, Lord Poole, by her brother, the Earl of Allerton. Her brother thinks he is doing the right thing. This remains to be seen! Only Georgiana knows how dreadful Lord Poole can be.
Mr. Oliver Lowell is a wealthy American, visiting his cousin. He is a kind man but receives some cuts and cold shoulders due to his non-understanding of Ton societal rules. He meets Lady Georgiana and is intrigued. However, how can they ever court?
As is the usual case with Ms. Pearson’s books, I enjoyed the novel. The characters were nicely written and fleshed out. Their actions made sense within the context of the book. The book flowed well and was understandable. Attention was paid to proper Regency verbiage and societal mores. It is a ‘clean’ read and has a lovely Happily Ever After.
Just a few technical things jumped out at me. I do not understand the need for the word “otherwise” in the very first sentence of the book. “otherwise” than what? Nothing has been established at this point. It’s confusing and really needs to be omitted from the sentence.
Also, there seems to be a lot of ‘grinning’ and ‘stammering’. Too much, I think, to make it exceptional writing. I’ve noticed a trend lately with authors using ‘grin’, ‘grinned’, and ‘grinning’ much too much in their novels. The repetition really starts to stand out. I don’t understand why editors don’t catch this sort of technical problem.
Other than that, it is a good, interesting read with a sweet HEA.

This was a sweet, clean, short story about a young lady whose chances at marriage have been greatly harmed by financial woes, her hapless brother who is trying his best to find her a good match, and how happenstance might just save the day. There’s even a bit of treachery and suspense thrown in along the way for fun!
