Mae Dafoe is back in her hometown chasing ghosts. She’s forgotten what it’s like to be around her big crazy family, and it’s a big adjustment coming from the life she’s created for herself in the years she’s been gone. Three days here, and then she can go back to her apartment in the city, and far away from the swamps of Uncertain. All she needs is closure. But when she finds one of the ghosts … she’s been chasing, she’s shocked to find he isn’t a ghost at all, but a shifter. The old Cole that she knew doesn’t exist anymore, but as she gets to know this sexy, dangerous, growly New Cole…she starts thinking about the life she left behind. Pulled between two very different worlds, she has to decide on a damaging past and an uncertain future…and somehow survive them both.
Cole Jennings goes by the name Fargo now. Might as well, since he’s a dog most of the time. He’s hidden what happened to him from the entire town, but a girl he used to know is back in his territory, scratching at his secrets. He has one job to do, and that’s to keep the Lachlan gators and their mates protected, but Mae DaFoe is pulling at his instincts to let the animal inside of him go, and to be a better man. She’ll have to wait for him to finish his hunt though, because he has a grudge that won’t ever go away. If he can just keep her away from him for a little while longer, maybe he can keep her safe, too.
Shifters, witches, and ghosts, aw yeah! Don’t miss this exciting final installment in T. S. Joyce’s bestselling Keepers of the Swamp trilogy.
**Content Warning: Explicit love scenes, naughty language, and piles of sexy shifter secrets. Intended for mature audiences.

The REAL Keeper of the Swamps
We discovered a secret about Fargo at the end of book two Fargo isn’t who we thought and secrets are revealed in this amazing finale of the series. Mae returns to Uncertain for a funeral but finds so much more
A wonderful, goosebumps rising, laughing and some tears story that should not be missedKeen to know what T.S. Joyce has in store for us next
Book three of the Keepers of the Swamp series a well written story that kept me turning pages I wonder if there is going to be more books in this series. Mae Dafoe comes back to the swamps of Uncertain for her Aunt’s funeral. For years she thought Cole the man she loved was dead, imagine her surprise when she finds out Cole Jennings has been cursed to live out his life mainly as a dog called Fargo. This book has suspense, drama, danger, evil, two very nasty men, attempted murder, and romance. I enjoyed reading this book. I read a copy through K.U. and I am voluntarily reviewing.
*WARNING* contains sexual content
I have read the first two and didn’t suspect this story about the loyal Fargo. The first 2 books are necessary to be read before this one, but I think it would be helpful me context and background information. This is another great story from Joyce. Wonderful characters with strength and loyalty. It’s well written. It is put together well and the story flows smoothly.
Wow! I am again impressed with this author. I wanted this story but what I got is not a typical shifter story. I got pain and anguish, fear and hate and best of all i got love. Young love, strong love, familial love and trusting love. Oh and there are tears! I don’t want to forget to mention those. Happy and sad tears. I love these characters for what it took for them all to be here and co to us on. Even that crazy chicken. I want to make. Quick mention of Tabby-she is wonderful add to the story. I have to wonder at all her antics and thoughts. Every family needs a Tabby in their family.
While this is a different type of shifter series I can easily see this three books being re-reads. Just from the emotional standpoint not counting all the goodness of these characters.
Four stars.
Steamy and easy to read.
Wonderful conclusion to this series with an even bigger twist on shifters!
