When I met Gracie, I knew we would be together forever. She was the only woman who understood me and loved the same things I did. It was just meant to be… undeniable.
The man card series is a collection of short stories that are full of steamy romance. You’re guaranteed that perfect happy ending and a cupboard full of sweets from all the cravings.

Grace Knight has avoided Ryan Appleton because her father always told her to stay away. At the beginning of the story she is finally divorced from her husband and she wants to live the life she has always wanted. Against her father’s wishes she tracks down Ryan and gets to know him. She and Ryan have an instant connection. You might guess this but they end up falling in love. Just saying.
Grace is 10 years older than Ryan. Interestingly, that isn’t even really a big part of the story. It’s actually kind of a funny element because Ryan was just a kid that last time Grace saw Ryan and she was a teenager but she thought he was adorable. It’s one of the reasons she tracks him down after her divorce.
This story does not have a lot of angst. It’s more about two people discovering that nothing is insurmountable. There’s even a nice epilogue a few years into the future. I recommend this story to anyone who is looking for a happy, short story.
Gracie Knight’s father stepped down off the tractor to make her repeat what she had just told him. Not the part about leaving Ron and coming back home, but the part about wanting to talk to Ryan Appleton. She had spent 10 married years being bossed around by her ex-husband. So she chose to do what she was told not to do. Now her father wasn’t speaking to her. Ryan was primarily a farmer on his family’s apple farm, Appleton Farm, but he supplemented his income with his hiking business, so she went to his office and signed up for an 8-hour hike. She hadn’t seen him in about 20 years, and she hadn’t switched back to her maiden name after her divorce, so seeing ‘Grace Murphy’ on her check didn’t identify who she really was. Appleton Farm had moved into Freeland and took a lot of business from Breyer Farm – from then on, her father hated them, sight unseen, and he had prohibited her from ever going near Ryan. She had never gotten the handsome green-eyed man out of her mind.
Grace showed up at the 6 a.m. time for the hike, hoping she survived. She had a feeling they would have to carry her out of the woods by the end of the day. For the next six hours, she ran out of breath, fell six times, and discovered her water bottle had leaked out inside her bag. But she survived and was delighted when he asked her out to dinner. Two weeks later, they were planning their sixth date! He thought he heard tractors in the background as she talked to him on the phone, but she laughed the idea off. His brother, Eric, walked into the barn and saw his puzzled look. He asked about the caller and told him it was his date, Grace. “As in Grace from Breyer Farm?” he asked. Ryan listed several reasons why that couldn’t be true… but he was now finding it hard to believe them himself. Was Grace Murphy really Gracie Knight? When he confronted her, what would her answer be?
This was a well-written story with characters the reader will love immediately. How long can a family feud last? Why does it have so much power that it rises above common sense? When you hate someone you’ve never met for something that was never a personal slight? It took courage for Gracie to come back home and go for what she had wanted for so many years. Will Ryan understand why she didn’t tell him the truth of her identity? Will she lose him? Will her family face the absurdity of a family feud when Gracie may be successful in starting a lasting relationship with “the enemy”? You’ll love this story line and the fun interactions between Grace and Ryan. Don’t miss this one – and see if she wins his heart in the end.
Ryan and Gracie’s family are competition and not supposed to talk. When she goes to him it starts the beginning of a complicated relationship. Will their families get between them or can they bring their families together?

Considering the scope of this series and the ones I’ve have the pleasure of reading, this is one of the very best of them all. The intensity of family rivalry and the characters against all odds determination to be together regardless made this a very entertaining story not to mention steamy. Great addition to the series, love bridges the gap, short and to the point. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Love Ryan and Gracie. Supposed to be enemies but turned out to be so much more. It was a little weird of when Gracie paid attention to Ryan but loved that in this case it’s the woman who’s older and there was no issue with their age difference. Love is love.

I enjoyed this book a lot. There were laughs and surprises. The story was great, as were the characters. Ryan and Gracie were made for each other, despite their age difference and the family feud. Glad that the angst and the family feud were resolved. Loved the happy ever after. Definitely recommend.

This is a different take on an older woman/younger man romance that has great characters and storyline. Gracie is divorced and ready to do what makes her happy no matter what her father dictates. Ryan is running his own hiking company but also helping with the Appleton family farm. This has family drama, secrets, and so much more.

Another well written and entertaining short story by Terra Kelly who once again brings strong, likable characters and weaves a sweet and fun romance. Sparks fly and feelings can’t be denied in this fast paced story. I enjoyed it being told in the dual POV and watching the two come together and would recommend reading.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Quick and fun! Another great short story from Terra Kelly. Somewhat of a forbidden romance. Enemies because of family and even that hold no substance. These two can’t help the sparks and the feelings they get when they are around each other.
Highly recommended.
Another must read Man Card Series addition.
I was given an arc of this book by the author in exchange for my honest and voluntary review.
Loved this sweet romance between Gracie and Ryan. I don’t usually like older woman /younger man romances, but this one really worked.
Perfectly paced with dual POVs that enhanced the storyline, this romance was easy to read and well written.
Minimal drama but full of entertainment value that focused on the main couple and their relationship.

Is it possible to be even more in love with one author?
Of course, it is. I know I am.
Terra Kelly is the person to blame. Lol. Her writing is so freaking awesome and will hook you up. Not only can she write a sweet book, but also she can create a suspenseful one that will make you shiver… Just get ready.
And why do I want apples? I’ll let you guys guess.
The Apple Of My Heart is her latest release and it’s the eleventh book from the man Card series.
Guys… What a series this is.
You must read all ten books first.
This new book explores the lives of Gracie and Ryan.
Everyone knows it’s that the forbidden fruit is always the most desired and that is Gracie regarding Ryan
She knows that her father demanded that she had to keep her distance but now…
Ryan along with his siblings and parents run their farm. An apple farm that does all their work around the forbidden fruit. When he’s not helping them, he’s running his side business. He’s responsible for the adventurous side of the farm, taking people in on his paths and hikes. When one mysterious woman enters his office…
Just like I thought it would be… This story is perfect. Short but so perfect.
Superb plot, very well written, super engaging and sweet. It was amazing getting to read each page and the hot stuff will blow your mind.
How can I say more without spoiling?
I really can’t so I’ll stick with what needs to be said.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Gracie moved back to town and decided to see Ryan. Ryan takes people hiking and that is when he sees Gracie and they hit it off again as if they had never been apart. The chemistry between them was sweet.
