A motorcycle riding Irishman, a bad boy rock star, and an ex-boyfriend I might still have feelings for…You wouldn’t think they’d have much in common, but they do.They’re all students at Magic Blessed Academy, the school I’m forced to attend after I manifest insane magical powers out of nowhere.Oh, and they all seem to hate me.If I was smart, I’d keep my head down and ignore all three of these … head down and ignore all three of these too-sexy-for-their-own-good dicks until I can graduate and get the hell out of here.
But when we’re all chosen to compete in the Gods’ Challenge, a deadly competition for the honor of meeting the gods themselves, teaming up with these tempting, infuriating men may be my only chance at survival.
Now the only question is: will we kill each other or f#ck each other first?
Gift of the Gods is a full-length reverse harem romance with an ass-kicking heroine, sexy as hell men, enough steam to light your e-reader on fire, and plenty of snark.

First off, the bullying from the harem members (to the MC) was lighter than other bully books I have read so if you are worried about that, don’t be (I feel like it was more enemies to lovers for the first 1/3 of the book and then everything was good haha). Then on to the academy aspect of the book, I would say that it was higher in book 1 than it was in 2 or 3 (which makes sense with the storyline). I did like the academy part, it wasn’t too much or wasn’t stagnant like I think other academy series can get. In terms of the story I will say the concept wasn’t earth-shattering/new, but I thought Eva did a good job of getting the readers invested and love the world she created. I thought the challenge sounded insane and I really enjoyed the story in book 1 was highlighted more than the relationships/romance. It definitely held my attention, I needed to know what happened next (and the scene with Lach was yummy hahah). For the relationships, I liked how the guys are different, with their own quirks and advantages they bring to the table. I think Lach was my favorite in book 1. I liked the MC, but at some points she was a little too garish/much for me. I did still enjoy this book and went on to listen to books 2 and 3 right afterward
The narration I thought was done well. I wish there could have been a male narrator but Stacy did a good job with the different accents, especially Lachlan’s accent. I think sometimes she was a little overdone, but that kinda went with the MC’s personality I guess haha (for some reason I didnt like her inflections/accent for the MC’s friend). I think there should have been more Boston accents if the MC was there for a good portion of her life, but not a lot of people could do a Boston accent that wouldn’t get on someone’s nerves after awhile haha. Overall, I would listen to Stacey again, that’s for sure!
I Give this Book a 4/5 Star Rating.
Format Read: Audiobook & Ebook.
Cliffhanger(?): Yes! I wonder what the heck is going to happen next!
Heat: 3.5-4/5
Drama: 4/5
Suspense: 3.5/5
Romance: 3.5/5
Relationship Type: Reverse Harem > MFMM
Audio Review: 4/5
The Voice Actor is Female, I was surprised she did some pretty good Male Voices, much better than I was expecting. But her voice is very calm so in some areas of the ‘audio’book, the characters emotions weren’t exuding properly.
No Spoilers.
This is a pretty good series, if I say to much then it just gives the book away!
I’m going to jump into Book 2 Now.
Action packed series! Aria is a strong and resilient character and her men are just as amazing.
In the fist book you get a feel for the world this is based in. The author does an amazing job of setting it up so you can really imagine where the story is taking place. I love that the main characters start to question why things are the way they are. And it is organic in the way is happen, it does not feel forced.
In the 2nd installment they really start to dive deep and look for the answers to their questions. Aria’s powers are developing and so are her relationships. You really feel the bond growing not just romantically but in friendship and trust too.
In the 3rd installment of the series the Gods have decided to punish those who question them…or at least some of the gods do. The gods do not succeed and the action packed book does not disappoint at all. I loved how detailed everything was. It could be easily imagine everything going on. Very well written and highly recommended.
This book is a fantastic start to this new series. I loved it! It is full of action, adventure, intrigue, 3 hot as sin men, one kick ass woman, and so much more! I loved the storyline and the characters! The narrator for the audiobook did an awesome job. I cannot wait to devour the next book in this series.
I received a free copy of the audiobook from the author. This is me leaving an honest and volontarily review.
Right from the start, the story and Stacey Glembosky voice suck me in and i couldn’t stop this thrilling ride following Aria, Trace, Merrick and Lachlan in the Gods Challenge. Whenever i had to stop, i would have the story in the back of my mind screaming to go back and finish it!! I highly recommend this series.
I liked Ari’s character because she can defend herself and doesn’t need a man to do it, like in a typical romance book. The 3 guys are pretty hot.
You get humans that come into “new magic”, which means they weren’t born with magic abilities. There’s a lot of action which I enjoyed. Not too many hot scenes which I also enjoyed. Overall the read was enjoyable.
Aria is as bad as they come. Badass that is. Not only can tbr girl hold her own, but she has the confidence of a supermodel. I liked that she didn’t take crap from anyone.
The night that it’s discovered that she had magical powers, is the night that everything changes. She has to go to Magic Blessed Academy—where she meets three hot as hell men who rule the entire school.
Once they’re all chosen to compete in a deadly challenge, the foursome will have to learn to work together instead of apart. What they didn’t account for was the insane chemistry they all held. And whether or not they should act on it.
Um, hell yeah they should act out on it! Gift of the Gods is so sexy and Aria will have you rooting from the very first page. I definitely want to see how much more she can get these yummy men wrapped around her little finger.
*Spoiler Alert*
Aria (FMC) is a kick-ass underground MMA fighter. Shes also known about magic her whole life but shes never had any powers herself or so she thinks until hers emerge one night. Much to her shock. Even more so when strange men turn up and invite her (not that its an invite she can ignore) to Magic Blessed Academy. A place for people like her. The academy is not as straightforward as she’d hoped and it comes with plenty of complications. Namely three guys – Merrick (they have a back story), Lachlan and Trace. All of which try their level best to make her life difficult. Not that she lets them get the better of her. I love that about Aria that shes such a strong character that doesnt care about anyone’s opinion of her especially theirs. Its a fantastic start to the series though and a damn fine read
