The series that readers are calling, ”touching, funny, sweet and gut-wrenching all mixed together.” By USA Today Bestselling Author, Elena Aitken! He’s totally off limits and wrong for her in so many ways. That’s why he’s perfect…for the moment.Amber McCormick has always had a plan. As long as things were orderly and she was in complete control, she couldn’t get hurt. But when life throws her a … in complete control, she couldn’t get hurt. But when life throws her a curve ball, she decides it’s time for a change. Or at least, time for a little fun. The fun she’s looking for comes in the form of her best friend’s smoking hot big brother. It was sweet to watch Amber McCormick and Cole Price step out of their comfort zones to find themselves as well as experience real love for the first time. Amber is all about controlling her life in a very organized way, while Cole Price is more about going with the flow and finding jobs that will give him adventure, without permanency. Cole’s sister is Amber’s best friend and when Amber travels to visit her, she encounters Cole instead. As Amber and Cole spend time together, you can feel the electricity and chemistry between them. When Amber and Cole traveled to Cedar Springs to spend Christmas with the rest of the McCormick family the interactions with her half-brothers were intriguing; wondering if they would accept Cole.
Ms. Aitken wrote a wonderful Christmas story, filled with sexual chemistry, fun dialogue, and endearing characters that is not to be missed. I highly recommend Our Perfect Moment to other readers and look forward to the next book in the series.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
I thought this story was very interesting and easy to read, I Loved the story line ,it was romantic and some suspense. That made me finish the story, excellent read
Love her books!!!
great book
I absolutely love visits to Cedar Springs and the McCormick’s!!
The best stories are when opposites are able to push each other out of their comfort zones and help each other grow. That’s how I felt from the moment Amber and Cole met. She’s a Type A who has plans for everything. He’s a live in the moment who never plans anything. The fact that they were so different is what made them so perfect for each other.
I’m keeping all my fingers crossed that Maureen McCormick is the next to find her HEA! She definitely deserves it!!
Elena Aitken has done it again, This is Book 6 in tn The McCormicks and it is just as awesome as the others in this series.
Once you start reading you are unable to stop until you finish this book. You seriously cannot put it down. It moves along at a perfect speed for reading, which makes it an enjoyable read. You cannot help but fall in love with these characters and you want to see them overcome everything that may get in their way. The story is amazing and once you start, you have to keep going till you finish the last page. This is a must read, there is no doubt about it.
Readers, if you haven’t read any of this series, you are truly missing out. Our Perfect Moment is the story of Amber McCormick and Cole Price. Amber was expecting a job offer and still not a word, so she decides to go ahead with her plans to visit her best friend, Josie. Amber is a planner. Josie and her brother, Cole not so much, lol. When Amber calls Josie, she’s not at the house she’s flipping. She tells her, she’ll be there as soon as she can. Imagine Amber’s surprise when later that night, she sits on Josie’s couch and there’s someone there, lol. Thus, begins the good stuff. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say I’ve loved all the McCormick books I’ve read. I highly recommend all of them. This is one family series that I’ve really enjoyed reading.
Amber McCormick’s and Cole Price’s story is very special. First, it was fun to read Amber’s story, as I have read all about her brothers and sister in previous books, and I enjoyed “seeing” what her story was all about. What I loved about this book: Both Amber and Cole were vulnerable, for different reasons. Both had…strange childhoods (that’s putting it mildly!) and needed to come to terms with their pasts in order to move forward.
Cole is the brother to Amber’s best friend, Josie, so their relationship has a murky start. But they are soooooooooooo good together – combustible, even. Their story is touching, fun, funny, sweet, sexy and kept me reading until I finished. I love it when Cole meets Amber’s brothers – cracked me up! These men do NOT fool around when they are protecting those that they love. No worries, though, Cole is more than prepared to handle any of the McCormicks!
Recommend this story, and the entire series. The stories wrap you in a hug and not let go. No worries, it is a standalone but it is so much better when you know all the supporting characters.
Amber. Cole
I could relate to Amber for being a planner and wanting to make sure she knew the steps on what would happen next. Unfortunately her desire for planning came more from the uproar in her family when she was younger and they found out her dad had two families. I loved that she had to share her friend Josies’s house with Josie’s brother Cole until Josie could make it back. Cole has always been a wanderer and looking for the next experience. I was glad to see that he opened Amber’s eyes to being more spontaneous. The two had so much chemistry there was no way they could ignore it. I loved catching up with her brothers and sister. I would like to live in a small town and have the family they have. This is another good book from Ms. Aitken that I encourage you to read. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.
Like the other McCormick books’s I’ve read (love the series) I immediately got into the book and didn’t want to put it down. I loved how the author wrote about a gorgeous man who thinks he’ll never settle down and then bam! he falls for the straight laced girl. That’s the story of One Perfect Moment. Two people so different but have such a spark between them. During the story we learn about how each of them changed but actually for the good. Then as the story moves we get to meet some of the other McCormick’s from other books. I really enjoy reading a series. I enjoyed this story except some of the sex scenes but I just jumped over them. Great book and I highly recommend it. I also need to catch up on some of the McCormick books.
This is Amber and Cole’s story. Amber is the final McCormick child that readers have been waiting to meet in this series of books. She has finally graduated from college and is ready to start living life. She plans a quick visit with her best friend Josie, but Josie is out of town. Fortunately for Amber, Cole (Josie’s brother) pops into town for a visit as well. They were able to stay busy and keep each other company while they waited for Josie to come home.
This story also includes Amber and Cole going to Cedar Springs to visit all of the McCormick’s for the holidays. Cole joined Amber for her first time meeting two of her half brothers and their mom, Maureen
I received an advanced copy of this book directly from the author based on other books that I have read and reviewed by her.
Amber finally arrives in the McCormick series in this latest book. I’ve been looking forward to her story and I wasn’t disappointed. I was surprised that the setting of the book wasn’t immediately in Cedar Springs with all her long lost siblings but it was a pleasant surprise to get a glimpse of yet another small town and a few new characters. The story with Amber and Cole was sweet to watch the two characters stepping out of their comfort zones to experience real love for the first time. Then finally all the characters from the other McCormick books were brought together for Christmas in Cedar Springs. The interactions between Amber and Cole and all the siblings had me on the edge of my seat. You know that all her brothers can’t wait to meet her but everyone was nervous would it go well? Would they except Cole? Elena Aitken almost had this whole story wrapped up in a beautiful Christmas bow until that epilogue. Now I’ll be waiting for Maureens story and what about Mitch and Jades baby. I’ll be waiting. Awesome read from Elena Aitken again.
Amber McCormick’s life fell apart in her teens when she realized her father had two families. In order to deal with it, she concentrated on what she could control. To control, she established plans & followed them to the letter. Everything in her life was planned out, except for Cole. When she met him, she began to question everything. Was her plan leading her in the right direction?
Cole Price dealt with his family’s expectations by running away to Australia. He’s enjoyed his years down there. Now he’s headed to see his sister before he decides on his next step. He didn’t plan on the chemistry he shares with Amber. Is it enough to change his spontaneous lifestyle?
I really enjoyed reading this series. I loved how they manage to slowly work through their anger at their father, accept the other family & find that special love. They managed to take the two families & incorporate them into one. What I really enjoyed about this specific story was Amber growing in confidence & realizing that plans change & evolve. If you don’t allow them to, you make yourself miserable. I enjoyed Cole but was happy he grew to accept love & realize he didn’t have to be spontaneous & still find adventure. I really hope we get to read Maureen’s happy ending before this series comes to an end!
Sixth book in the McCormick series. There is heart break, romance, misunderstandings, and the HEA. I found myself floundering in this story. I enjoyed it, but my patience wore thin in a few spots. This is just me, the story is well written an certainly a good read. Don’t miss it.
This is a sweet story about a couple of young adults in their mid twenties, finding themselves . Being an adult is different for these two.
Amber McCormick is all about controlling her life in a very organized way, while Cole Price is more about going with the flow and finding jobs that will give him adventure, without permanency.
Cole’s sister is Amber’s best friend and when Amber goes to visit her , she encounters Cole instead. Fate has them spending time together and discovering that stepping out of their comfort zone, might be their new perfect.
I found the story geared more to those in their 20s and 30s.As a mature adult I would rate it a 3 star, but for the rest of the readers, Iand knowing the dedication authors put in their trade, I am giving it 4 stars.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
