Newly appointed Sheriff J.C. Nash has more on his plate than investigating a mysterious fire that’s destroyed End of the Line’s beloved library. Olivia Evans, the girl he helped save from criminal mischief charges back in high school even as she crushed his heart is all grown up and back in town. Worse than the sparks that still fly between them is J.C.’s fear that they will ignite a passion he … he won’t be able to walk away from–like she did to him, all those years ago.
Olivia once believed if she kept moving fast enough, her family’s dark secrets wouldn’t catch up to her. But when she comes back home to End of the Line to care for her ailing mother, she’s forced to face her painful past and face the man—now sheriff—she ran from all those years ago. Unexpectedly, the town and its people begin to creep back into Olivia’s heart, giving her the sense of belonging she’s longed for. But when things start to heat up between her and the sexy sheriff, how can she convince him to trust that she won’t leave again?

A Heart Romance
This was so good. 2nd chances are wonderful. A clean read with a bit of drama and intense moments.
Olivia and J.C. finally get their HEA, how could they not? The whole town was rooting for them lol. Gotta love small town dynamics and how efficiently they can run.
A great cast of characters including Old Blue
Touching characters.
The End of The Line was really just the beginning for Olivia. This is really the last place she would want to be but now maybe loose strings can be taken care of. This is not only a romance but there is a mystery too. That means the main dude Mr. December or Sheriff J.C. Nash will have problems on many fronts. Strong characters in this tale, fun and interesting moments that will keep you totally engaged, and it is all in a very well-written story. I enjoyed the book a great deal and recommend it highly. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
She is back in the town where she is back due to her mother’s health. She sees the one man who could make her life go haywire. Their friendship nn connection is awesome. She has started to take photos of the people in town and has been using someone else property. Her mom surprises her n it was so good good
I loved the book
Sheriff wants some answers and its confession time. Cute couple, they obviously have an emotional connection and since they are all grown up they do pretty good at working through all the drama. The “mystery” adds intensity and made this be even more entertaining and more than just a second chance with an old flame. I received a free copy without obligation and am voluntarily reviewing.
When Olivia Evans comes home to End of The Line, she’s forced to face her past. Her parents were pillars of the community, but appearances were deceiving. Her father was an abusive alcoholic. Olivia protected her mother. I found Olivia was a strong, determined woman who had the courage to face her situation. It was sad that she had internalized her emotions. Will she get a second chance to make things right and find happiness? J.C. Nash is the Sheriff. Just like his father. He has never gotten over Olivia. Her leaving broke his heart. When he sees her, he’s angry and wants an explanation. However, the town is already on edge. People want to know if someone intentionally set fire to the Library? Olivia and J.C. are drawn to each other. Time and distance hasn’t changed that. I wanted them to have a future, but I wasn’t sure it would happen. Amanda McIntyre pulled me into this emotional romance. I love coming back to End of The Line and catching up with the Kinnisons and their neighbors. I enjoy the dynamics of the town and how they come together to rebuild the library. What a creative solution! I couldn’t put down Mr. December until I knew what happened. This story made me feel good.
