5 stars for Third Term by Rachel Jonas. This is the third and final book in the Dragon Fire Academy series. “A wolf in sheep’s clothing. An angel with her ear to hell.” Noelle will do anything to save one she loves but is it too much. Now Noelle’s mates are used against her. The darkness maybe stronger than she thought. Can she beat it. We do find out in this book. This book is exciting, sexy, intense, and so much more. There were some funny parts involving Liam, Noelle’s dad. I was laughing so hard. You will be kept guessing the whole way through until the very end. I loved the HEA. Great work Rachel Jonas.

This is the 3rd and final book of the series. Daddy’s coming and boy does he get an eyeful! I mean seriously Noelle had her hand around Paulo’s ahem….how mortifying hehe. He was seriously pissed! Wow…it took some time for the old man to come around to the idea of his little girl having 4 mates. Okay…so this ended on HEA I’ll just throw that out there. I think it wasnt executed as well as it should have been though. Just minor details not touched on. Like what happened to the council. We know they were taken to the Elders for their crimes but thats all we know. Why didnt they fight against Chief’s plans? Did they not want to or too scared? We dont even know. Why didnt the instructors get involved? I mean she was still a student! I think this whole series bothered me here and there but I really feel the instructors of the school failed Noelle in a big way. From the beginning to end. Her mates fought so hard for her. I also felt that Noelle didnt fight as hard as she should have when it came to Darkness taking her over. At least we didnt actively see it. I think another reviewer mentioned this…why Noelle didnt try to embrace the Darkness and try and harness it and release it only at her command without it taking over her completely. I just think it was too strong that it couldnt be molded. Too evil. I briefly thought about that too but in the end I think it was too strong for her and had way too much of a hold on her. Could Noelle have prevented that? Maybe but thats not how it was written. Anyways, I liked how unique the series was but I would have liked it to be fleshed out more. I also think the author bordered on making Ori unlikable. I mean I kinda hated him sometimes because of the faith he lost in Noelle. He had no understanding of what it was like for her. He almost wasnt redeemable to me after he just up and left her at her most vulnerable and thats when she really needed him and he failed her. Thats just my opinion. I think he acknowledged it though. He screwed up and knew it so I think thats what stopped me from just outright disliking him. I think Kai and Ori are my favorites. At least they took more of an active role with her. I sorta wished that wasnt the case for 1 reason. It put her other 2 mates on the back burner which wasnt fair.

“Your love might be the thing that saves her.”
I loved the end to Noelle and the Omegas’ tale.
It’s very much a story about unconditional love, trust and unity. So many people love Noelle and it was great to see them come together to fight with her and for her. I was on the edge of my seat, holding my breath and trying to anticipate what was going to happen while adventuring through the unknown with them. I would definitely recommend reading this one and making the journey too.

What a roller-coaster of a series. In this book Noelle finds her strengths and her ability to use her one of a kind powers! The fight with the ‘Darkness’ is upon us and it is epic. The power of love seeps through every line in this story.
So lovely to catch up with some of our favourites from the Lost Royals Saga. I love how Ms Jonas provides a magical journey of the mind. Scenery, characters and comraderie are integral to her books.
I read this story as an ARC and am providing an honest review.

I love these characters so much–something about them really makes you care about them all–and to follow their dark and twisted paths to the end has been a great ride.
Noelle is a likable heroine who always tries to do the right thing…but her mistakes lead her down a path to darkness. And while her guys try to save her from that darkness, and herself, she ends up saving them more times than not. Strong, bull-headed, and ready for whatever life throws at her, Noelle is fun to read and really draws you into the story.
The Omega Hive guys go through a lot in this book, dealing with trauma, terror, and one very pissed of Dad. 🙂 Some familiar faces from The Lost Royals Saga show up, and it’s awesome…and funny.
Definitely recommend this book AND the whole series. Great read.

The much anticipated final installment in the “Dragon Fire Academy” trilogy will not disappoint fans of this series. There is action, romance, and suspense that will keep you glued to the book. Rachel Jonas gets you to know her characters, for better and for worse, and still love them. I enjoyed this book almost as much as the first. The biggest problem with this book….the story comes to an end….and we always want more, lol.

Without a doubt….ABSOLUTELY FRIGGIN BRILLIANT end to this series! The Darkness, and the Chief have vastly underestimated Noelle and her guys!!! Noelle was put through the ringer in this, and became the person she was meant to become. I didn’t think her guys would fear anything…. Until her father showed up LOL. My heart jumped for joy revisiting Noelle’s family from LOST ROYALS series! This is the ultimate good vs evil, and every page, every round was brilliantly done! Sheer perfection, and an epic conclusion.
