Hot Pursuit
A laugh-out-loud, enemies-to-lovers romance that’s How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days meets White Collar with a dash of The Thomas Crown Affair thrown in!
All art thief Jolene Carter has ever wanted is a bakery of her own, and she won’t let anyone get in the way of her dreams, especially not the distractingly delicious FBI agent hot on her tail.
Agent Nate Parker has been on the Carter case for years, and he won’t let anything stand in the way of justice, especially not the red-headed vixen who keeps giving him the slip.
He’s a cop who’d never bend. She’s a con who’ll never break. But all’s fair in love and larceny…
Stolen Goods
Catch Me If You Can meets Tangled in this funny and feel-good adventurous romance!
When a devilishly handsome stranger saves Addison Abbot from two robbers with guns, she’s determined to find her fairy tale ending–until she realizes he’s the most wanted criminal in America.
Thaddeus Ryder was just another run-of-the-mill international art thief until his latest heist went south. But when hitmen for the Russian mafia interrupt his getaway, Thad gains an accidental companion–a baking beauty who might be too tempting to resist.
When a good girl meets a bad boy, sparks are bound to fly. But this con man is about to discover the only thing he can’t steal is her heart…
Off the Grid
One part Pride and Prejudice. One part Romancing the Stone. All the feels.
Agent Leo Alvarez is on his way to Hawaii when his partner calls in a favor–the mob is after a pastry chef in New York City, and he’s the only one who can get to her in time.
McKenzie Harper is a damsel in distress who doesn’t need saving. But when three masked men kidnap her and throw her into the back of a van, that white knight suddenly doesn’t seem so scary.
He’s a cocky Fed with a killer smile. She’s an uptown beauty with a biting tongue. If they want to survive, they’ll have to learn to work together–assuming they don’t kill each other first…

I loved this series, it’s a very fast moving series. Loved the characters Great HEA for the series
Amusing, but all the characters do truly stupid things. The first story is frankly, unbelievable. No FBI agent on earth, no matter how besotted, would let a woman get away with what he let Jo get away with. And if Jo were as good a person as she claimed to be, she wouldn’t have done what she did to him. Addy comes off the best in the stories, responding to reality fairly quickly and rationally. Mackenzie blows off danger, which is a lazy way for the author to get her snatched. There are a few surprises, which help, and Thad and Leo are really likeable.
Hot Pursuit:
This is a well constructed Comedy Romance with suspense. The characters are entertaining and the plot moves at a good pace. The chemistry between Robert and Jolene is electric with the uptight agent pursuing the sassy con. But there’s more beneath his ego and her mask and it will take some honesty on their parts to bring them together. Will they be able to work together or will she trick him and give him the slip once again?
Stolen Goods:
Kay Marie creates fun, believable characters and builds a solid plot. We meet Thad and learn about Addison in Book 1. I really liked Thad and was glad to see that he got a book of his own. Addison is a colorful character and reacts to being kidnapped like a girl would. She’s not cool-headed like Jo, Thad’s partner and Addison’s online friend, because she hasn’t had Jo’s life experiences. Thad and Addison hit it off, but with the Russians and Feds hunting them down, they don’t get to explore their feelings for each other like they’d like to. Follow the two as they navigate their powerful chemistry on their road trip through danger.
Off the Grid:
Off the Grid is my favorite book in the series! Kay Marie has struck the right balance with mystery, danger, chemistry, humor, and character development. Even the ending is spot on!
Each book is its own story and can be read alone, but they are all intertwined too. In the third book, we get to know Agent Leo Alvarez and McKenzie Harper better. They are characters that were introduced in Book 1. Leo gives up on a Hawaii holiday when his partner calls in a favor. Having been a Marine and because of a difficult childhood, Leo has a strong need to always help and protect. Arriving at McKenzie’s apartment door, he’s met with a cold shoulder. She doesn’t believe that she needs protecting, she doesn’t like interruptions, and she doesn’t like Feds. Leo really has his work cut out for him!
I like how the author brings her characters to life. Both Leo and McKenzie are believable. Their squabbles and eventual chemistry make sense. Their friendships with others are also well developed. It’s a page-turner of a story and the plot is well thought out. Well done, Kay Marie!
I received ARCs of each book. This is my honest and voluntary review.
