Return to Greenlawn Hall for the explosive fourth book in the Misfits & Rogues Series! His biggest mistake… from afar, to protect her, to keep her safe. He failed.
His greatest regret…
Having interfered with the natural order, Daniel had accepted his punishment as his due, but when he returned to the earthly realm to discover what had become of his precious Emmaline, he learned that playing with fate had consequences to more than just himself.
Insurmountable odds…
Emmaline Waters had been born with the gift of second sight, a gift that continued to grow as she aged. Thanks to her immortality, those gifts have now become a painful curse. No longer able to bear touch, she is isolated and desperate for release. An angel was the cause and only an angel would be the cure. Two centuries of searching and she’d finally found him. Too bad the one thing she wanted was the one thing he could never give.
As the residents of Greenlawn Hall prepare for the inevitable confrontation with the Born, can they find a way to help one of their own without making the ultimate sacrifice?

BRUNCH WITH AN ANGEL is the fourth book in the Misfits and Rogues series. This is a continuing series and I highly recommend reading the full series and in the order of release.
Emma has done so much for so many, that it is beyond time for her finally to get her happily ever after. Her gifts have become a curse that prevents her from living a happy life. She just needs her angel to return and remove her immortality. How sad is that? To believe that the only way to be happy is to accept death and leave all of your immortal friends behind.
Instead, she finds that she can touch one immortal being – Daniel – her angel. When they touch, they may not produce true sparks as Margot and Thane do (CHOCOLATES FROM A VAMPIRE), but there is no denying the burning hot flames of desire.
The battle between the family of Greenlawn and the Elders of the Born is amazing. All of their powers and their ingenuity must be brought into play to have even a ghost of a chance!
This story was excellent and kept me glued to my Kindle. This may have been the best of the series so far and I loved how everyone was included. I’m looking forward to more in the next book.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC via Booksprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

This is another great story in the Misfits and Rogues series. I love all the characters of this series but it is especially great to see Emmaline, who has suffered for centuries, finally get a HEA. She has been searching for her Angel and finally he returns to Greenlawn. There are of course unexpected complications, plus an epic battle with Vampires, shifters, demons and angels, a surprise pregnancy, a proposal and a wedding. Life is never boring with this group.
This series is about the most eccentric and dysfunctional group of people you will ever encounter. This book in the series features Emma and Daniel. Emma is an immortal psychic who is unable to physically touch other people without horrendous visions, pain, and seizures. Her greatest wish is to find Daniel the Angel who inadvertently cursed her with immortality. Great read!

I enjoyed reading this book. A well thought out and written novel. As a reader I appreciate the ease and flow of how this read. Definitely recommend if you enjoy love, romance, some plot twists, and happy endings.
Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.

I was very impressed with how simply and effortlessly this author told this addicting, multi-layered story with well-developed world building and great characters and still manage to make romance feel so fresh!
The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting.
Add in a wee bit of drama and you have a good read.

This is book 4 and I will repeat what the author said it is not intended to be read as a standalone. You really need to read books 1-3 to fully understand what this story is about since it builds from book to book. This is Emmaline’s story and I have been excited about this book since book 1 ! I was not disappointed. I took a chance reading book one and now I am hooked!
Emmaline is from the early 1800’s and she still has the mannerisms, hair style, dress code and thinking of a young woman form that time even though she is over 200 years old. The changes that come about in this book had me laughing and cheering for her. There is a scene with Daniel that had me laughing out loud. Her talks with the other girls! Oh my!! What a great couple of scenes!
Daniel has his own issues to deal with as well. He has had 200 years of punishments and guilt for involvement with Emmaline. His character was a surprise- he was funny and yet he was awkward and shy. He got tongue tied and did not know how to proceed around Emmaline.
Things get tense in this book with the Born and the Demon and you just keep turning the page to find out what happens next. I so enjoy this series and very happy to read there will be more!
Emma finally finds her angel, Daniel. They both have been suffering for centuries, in different ways. Emma’s sadness saturates the pages. When war comes to the door of the rogues and misfits, things start looking up. I loved this book.
I think with each new addition in this series, the books only get better and more enjoyable!
I’m so excited to see what this author has in store for Greenlawn and it’s residents now that everyone seems to be happily mated/married.
For two centuries Emmaline Waters has been searching for the angel that doomed her with immortality. Being born angel-touched with the gift of second sight, her gift only grew as she aged and now that she’s immortal it’s gotten so bad she can’t stand the touch of another and it’s only progressing to the point she can’t touch any object even with the gloves she wears for protection.
As an Angel, Daniel was naturally curious about the angel-touched he could feel in the area, as well as the woman with the voice of an angel. Angels and mortals don’t mix, so instead of acting upon his feelings that he feels for Emmaline upon first sight he must watch her from afar. However, when Emmaline is injured Daniel interferes in places Angels aren’t suppose to and now must face his punishment.
Now after he’s finally freed and away, Daniel is determined to find out what happened to Emma. But he never expected her to ask him to end her immortality. He most definitely never expected to be able to act upon the feelings that he’s felt for Emma for the last two centuries.
Of all the books in the Misfits and Rogues series this one has so much to love about it. Of course there’s love, romantic and familial between all the residents of Greenlawn. There’s drama and insecurities, but there’s also lots of action. If you’ve read the previous book in this series you have to know the kind of action that is coming for the residents of Greenlawn. Nothing stays a secret forever!
Daniel made a mistake two centuries ago and wants to make amends. Emma knows that her angel is on his way. She wants it to end because of how her powers work. Unable to stand human touch is taking its toll. Can he help her or doom her forever?
Wonderful! I absolutely loved it! I really enjoyed seeing all the characters finally get their happily ever afters. This one was full of emotion and was long overdue. I really enjoyed how everything played out! Can’t wait to see what the author has in store next for our ragtag team of misfits.
Emmaline Waters was a young women with a full life of her until the terrible night that she sees a shape shifter and dies, but she doesn’t realize that an angel saved her life. But there was consequences that nobody could even think about. Over 100 years late Emmaline is still here but because of that night, there has been drastic effects to her that she could not fight. But she’s been looking for that angel to change what did and she found him. What will happen next to Emmaline and Gabriel? Can he give her what she has been wanting all these years? Kimberly Forrest has written a wonderful series (Misfits and Rogues) and I advise starting from the beginning. First reason, there are great to read, two, reading them in order helps you understand how all of the books connect. to each other. So start reading, you will glad that you did
