The old flame between them still smolders, but Claudia’s not sure if it’s warmth she feels or heat from old burns. Aaron’s never been afraid of risk—it’s how he made his fortune. Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Once I started I could not get enough from start to finish with twist and turns. This book gave you so many emotions that you felt you were literally going through this yourself.

The story begins with an accident of one of their sons, causing ex-husband and ex-wife to reflect on life. Even though they are divorced, loving feelings are still present between them. A look back at their married life, and the way they met, gives you a look at their love. Recalling memories at their child’s bed also brings the feelings back. I found the construction well deployed. In my eyes, a realistic view of a couple who realize that they are now different in life and open to each other again. I think the end is a bit quickly finished, as if the writer has a maximum number of words and suddenly has to work the story to an end. I found that a bit unfortunately. Furthermore, a good book. 4.5 out of 5 stars

Well developed and engaging characters make this an enjoyable read. A story line that flows well, hold the reader’s attention and is entertaining. A second chance romance after divorce where tragedy brings them back together.

Aaron is up next in this series and I just loved how this was a second chance with his ex wife Claudia after tragedy pushes them back together. To be able to go over the full span of their initial relationship, how their relationship started to breakdown and re connecting was great and you really connected with them. There are a lot of highs and lows that Aaron and Claudia went and go through as well as some great laughs and frustrating times and you connect with them even more as their story unfold. I can not wait to read the next in the series!!
Aaron and Claudia divorced years ago, but they come together in support when their youngest son ends up in a coma after a motorcycle accident. The book had flashbacks about their relationship and they argued a lot about how to raise their sons. There were plenty of arguments in the present and highs and lows as they watch over their son and think about getting back together, but many forces drive a wedge between them.
Is a risk every worth taking?
Aaron gets a call from Summer it appears she is in trouble and he made a promise to her dad to look after her. This is the kind of character he is hard on the outside super soft on the inside. Now Aaron has had a bad day and it is going to get worse. Meet Claudia, Aaron’s ex-wife and she has some new for Aaron. Now I can understand some of the reviewer feelings but for me, this was an emotional read. It was both a heart retching and heartwarming piece plus it had a major focus on family. I thought it was a good story. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Book three in The Billionaire Pact series a well written story of a couples second chance. Claudia Nichols and Aaron Sinclair divorced years ago but because of their sons Marcus and Andy they are still in each others lifes. I enjoyed reading this story and seeing how they get back to the love they never lost. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Although he comes from a wealthy family, they were dysfunctional. Raised by grandparents, Aaron soon learned that even the ones that he truly thought loved him didn’t. When he confronted his grandfather, he was sent off to boarding school when he refused to say he was wrong. In the end they lost everything while Aaron went on to flourish. His parents live off of him and is causing all kinds of drama to get what they want. When his marriage came to an end, Aaron was hurt because they lacked the communication to talk to each other. Now his son is in the hospital and the emotions are running deep. Can he and Claudia find a way back into each others heart for a second chance at happily ever after?

I wanted to like this story more than I did. I don’t like to say that but that’s the truth. Oh, both Claudia and Aaron were good enough main characters. So, were their two sons, Marcus and Andy; what we saw of them. But the story just didn’t grab me. Even though Claudia and Aaron did have some tender moments.
Aaron had some pretty dramatic history with his nasty mother, father and grandfather. That cause some current problems added to the stress of their son’s medical emergency.
There is a H.E.A. which smooths things over at the end.

The Billionaire’s Big Risk is Book 3 of The Billionaire Pact series by Christie Logan. While I’m not typically a huge fan of second chance romances after divorce, this one worked. A tragic accident brings Aaron and Claudia closer than ever. Claudia had some major insecurities she needed to overcome, especially where Aaron was concerned. Many times tragedy tends to push people even farther apart so it was refreshing that this one brought these two back to each other.
