One way or another, all men pay for their crimes. Some do their time locked in a cage, while others meet their due karma without a judge or a jury. My debt to society is almost paid, and soon I’ll be free to get my son the justice he deserves. Justice he wouldn’t be due if only I had done my job as his father and protected him. There’s just one hitch, and her name is Charlotte. The gorgeous and … Charlotte.
The gorgeous and completely inexperienced paralegal’s mission seems to be making me a law-abiding citizen and not a vengeful son of a bitch. But underneath her prim and proper facade, there is a woman begging to be unleashed. If I wasn’t so hellbent on breaking the chains of pain bound to my boy, I’d be tempted to unravel Charlotte and show her what it’s like to ditch the law and walk on the wild side. And there’s no time for me to succumb to her efforts to make me a decent man. I’ve agreed to prospect for the Satan’s Knights MC, and my pretty little paralegal is about to learn there ain’t nothing noble about a man who sells his soul to the Devil in the name of revenge.
Editorial note: Breaking The Chains is the second book in the Satan’s Knights Prospect Trilogy. Fan’s of Janine’s Blackout Duet will immediately recognize Bishop, but all readers can enjoy this novel as a steamy, suspenseful standalone.

Once again JIB knocks it out the park! Bishop and Charlotte’s story will make you laugh, cry, lust, love, and leave you craving the next book. The icing on the cake for me was Parrish……I can never get enough of him! I can’t wait to read Bash and Lydia’s story.
This is the second book in this Satan’s Knights Prospect trilogy and Charlotte and Bishop’s story.
Bishop is a criminal who is in jail, he was trying to protect his son when he learnt what was happening to him but he went about it the wrong way. He ended up being Blackie’s cellmate and he sent the Satan’s Knights lawyer into help him get out and gain custody of his son back. Charlotte is his lawyers paralegal and this girl woke something in him he has never wanted before. She made him want a family.
Once I got over wanting to beat Bishop over the head for not stepping up for his son from the moment he was born, I really liked him. He has really tried to turn his life around and wants to put his son first…finally!
I did like Charlotte but occasionally I got frustrated with her. I found her quiet naïve and childish at certain points, but she did have a kind heart and I did love that about her, especially the way she was with Connor.
I found this one quiet emotional as my heart broke for Connor, this poor little boy deserved so much more then he had had in his life so far. I was so happy to learn that Bikers Against Child Abuse is a real thing and what they do is so amazing. It brought tears to my eyes when I read them meeting Conner so thank you Janine Infante Bosco for covering such a heart wrenching topic so well.
The beginning was so sad with Bishop and his son. I enjoyed this one so much more than the first book. Charlotte and Bishop were much more likable and interesting. I really liked them a lot.
This was a great addition to this MC world Janine has written.
I enjoyed getting to know Charlotte and Bishop. They started a unique way and overcame trial to make it work.
Connor is what pulls the two together.
This was a great read. I look forward to more from this talented author!!

Breaking the Chains had me gripped from the very beginning.
It was one of the best most intense MC books I’ve read.
I started it and could not put it down until I reached The End.
The story shredded my soul and tore my heart to pieces.
It devastated me.
I sobbed and cursed.
But Ms. Bosco kept the hope alive.
Slowly she put the pieces of my tattered heart back together.
And restored my broken soul.
The characters in the story she brilliantly created our incredible people.
I loved them all.
I wanted to jump into the book and hug them all.
Sometimes good people make bad mistakes.
And the consequences are dire.
That one mistake that can never be undone has a domino effect that will forever haunt so many.
I adored Bishop.
He made foolish choices.
But I felt deep down he was a good guy.
He’s trying to fight to do right and find some sort of redemption for the choice he made.
That lead to devastatingly results.
But is righting a wrong with another wrong the way to find forgiveness and redemption?
That is something Bishop will need to figure out and then chose the way he wants his life to go.
I loved Charlotte!
What a beautiful lady she is.
Both inside and out.
She has a heart of gold.
She is her own insecurities but she prioritizes others needs before her own.
I just wanted to take Connor in my arms and shield him from everything.
That precious boy stole a piece of my heart.
He’s so brave and so strong.
He’s just amazing.
I also loved the rest of the characters that brought so much to this outstanding story.
All the characters had an incredible bond together to reach their end goal.
Each one is essential and each one needed to fit perfectly together in order to make it believable.
Each relationship needed to feel real and not forced.
And the author did just that.
Everyone and everything fit brilliantly.
The most intense of these relationships is that of Bishop,Charlotte and Connor.
That was an absolutely beautiful bond that was being formed and solidified.
Everything about this book left me breathless.
I highly recommend this incredible book.
But keep a box of Kleenex on hand you will most definitely need it!
What a fantastic story! It pulls on your heart strings!
Breaking The Chains is a very emotional story of Bishops journey to get justice for his son Connor.
I loved Bishop and Charlotte! They were great together. Their chemistry was amazing! Will Bishop get the chance to be a good father to Connor? Can Charlotte keep Bishop on the right path? Once again Janine has written another fantastic MC romance! I love the Satan’s Knights Prospect Trilogy!
Breaking The Chains is Bishop’s story. We were introduced to him in Blackie’s story, his son was in trouble, and the Satan’s Knight MC were going to help him get out of jail. This story drew my in and kept me engrossed till the end. It does go from past to present some, it has angst, conflict, romance, and MC family. I loved the chemistry between Bishop and Charlotte. I just wanted to hug little Conner, and I’m glad he’s finally getting the family he deserves. Can’t wait for the next MC book.
Oh. My. Janine Infante Bosco – Author!!!! (Standing ovation)
You’ve blown me away once again with your characters and words! This beautifully broken and tragically tormented read collides giving the reader an unforgettable ride as we witness Bishop breaking chains to make his wrongs right.
“A million scattered pieces.
That’s me.
Never meant to be whole.”
The lead character Bishop is raw and real. Tough as titanium on the outside and soft for peaches in the inside. He’s a man of his word: when promises are made, he makes sure they aren’t ever broken, especially by him.
“A promise is a promise.”
This book is the true definition of what it is to ride or die and have a second chance in life.
Bishop’s living in Hell, while Charolette is his perfect escape in many ways, giving him tiny pieces of Heaven that he craves and most definitely deserves. She’s the key to unlocking a piece of him that’s been hidden for some time by chains that have held him hostage. Breaking free lives with this hope in the depth of his soul and will to fight the fight, the way a true man does with honor and integrity.
“You earned your spot in Heaven, baby…”
This slow burn mixed with the most sinfully sexy, beautifully broken, tagically tormented book boyfriend that I’ve ever read makes this one of my top reads of this year! Falling in love with Bishop on the very first page was easy and I continued to fall deeper with each turning page. I savored each word and I wasn’t ready for this story to end. I begged for more because traveling through these pages, this story stays in your heart forever. Once again reminding me that being claimed Property of Parrish lasts a lifetime!
5 Stars
This book is different from every other book in The Satan’s Knights series! Janine Infante Bosco has taken this club and just thrown it and he readers through a loop! I for one cannot wait to come out on the other side and see what we get. Bishop and Charlotte were destined from the first moment their paths crossed. To see their story play out, through every up and down, while making sure his boy was number one was just downright perfect! I gotta day, I am seriously looking forward to a story for “Davey” Schwartz. When all is said and done your heart will race, your face may blush, some tears will fall and in the end, your jaw WILL drop. Just a day in the life with the Knights.

Janine has dragged me into this story and I found no escape, even though I didn’t what to put it down. Charlotte and Bishop’s story captivated me from the start. It was an emotional ride, and Conner stolen my heart. Outstanding job Janine, it been an amazing journey watching you grow and I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us.
Bishop hasn’t been a good man or father in the past. He is looking forward to getting out of jail and keeping his son Connor safe after he goes through hell. He also plans on revenge against those that hurt his son. Charlotte is a paralegal trying to help Bishop and Connor stay together. Bishop has two reasons to become a better man and father. A great read that mc fans shouldn’t miss!

As a parent, the needs of the child come first and sometimes life puts people in situations to learn it as is the case with the main character of this story. From the beginning, you will be hooked and as the pages turn prepare to lose yourself in this powerful storyline. Bishop has been dealt a raw deal that caused him to lose his way and turn to drugs which became his existence. Not only was his life impacted but the life of his son Connor who was abused by a family member that should have protected him. Underneath it all Bishop is a good- hearted man who is stepping up, after the death of his ex, to do everything he can to love and be there for his son, unfortunately his choices leave something to be desired as he is currently incarcerated. Enter Charlotte, a generous paralegal who works for David Schwartz, Bishop’s new attorney. From the moment they meet, Charlotte is flustered and attracted to Bishop and as the days pass, she inserts herself in his life more and more. As she works on his case, Bishop is more intrigued by Charlotte and wants nothing more than to make her his, even though he feels unworthy of her. To add another layer to this storyline is the Satan Knights MC whose brothers not only stand up for Connor but show Bishop that there is another way. Will Bishop get his act together and fly right? Is Charlotte betting on a winner or will it all fall down like a house of cards? This is one slow burn that will have any reader busting at the seams as he/she follows this journey that flips between the past and the present to see where these characters come from and what they went through. This is one that will pull at your heartstrings and should be added to your tbr list. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.
This was a great addition to this trilogy. Breaking The Chains had a strong plot, it was written well with many emotions. Charlotte and Bishop’s journey has been a rollercoaster, they’ve been through so much, many ups and downs and twists. But no matter what they went through, they were stronger together than apart. They were made for each other. Their connection, the chemistry, it was strong. They were great together.
This was a great story. I enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to reading more.
Thank you, Janine Infante Bosco. Great work 🙂
We met Bishop through Blackies time in prison, and now we get his story , he was not a good person, he made choices he now realizes were the worst ones to ever make but trying to rob a place to pay for an attorney for getting his son away from his uncle was not one of them , now with the help of Jack Parrish and Blackie and also the miracle worker attorney and Charlotte Bishop might just be able to get his life back on track.
“Breaking the Chains” was my first book by Janine Infante Bosco and it most certainly will not be my last. Anyone who knows me, knows I love MC Romance reads because they are (in my opinion) incredibly enjoyable and completely engrossing. They give you everything you could possibly want or desire in a contemporary romance book. Angst, drama, thought provoking dilemmas, emotionally charged scenes and lots and lots of hot, sexy times. This book gives you all that and more. If you’re looking for a great MC Romance, TBR this book right away and if you’ve never really given this genre/trope a chance, pick up this book and see for yourself how utterly inviting and worthwhile it is. (I read an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review).
