Nick, a freelance photographer on a year-long assignment, arrives in Boise on his usual mission to take photos of the capitol building. Only this time he finds that one of his old college classmates he hasn’t seen in a long time has gone missing, and her husband seems like he should be a prime suspect. The police are dismissive of his ideas, and Nick decides to do some digging on his own. Will …
Will the mystery, and car troubles, throw him off his primary mission in Boise? The clues he uncovers lead a different direction than the amateur sleuth thinks they will. But can he prove what he has finally come to suspect?

You don’t have to live in Idaho to enjoy BURIED IN BOISE. This compelling read gets a great big fat GREEN THUMBs up from me. No spoilers here — you’ll find out why when you dive into the engaging story and observe life through Nick’s camera lens.
Even when he does not want to, Nick gets involved in another murder mystery and is able to solve it through his photos. And I learned what kind of ingredients I should look for when buying fertilizers for my plants. This is a plus you get from reading this story! There is a good plot, beautiful descriptions of scenery and food (as always!) and Nick is on the road again. Just love reading these books!
I received a free copy of this book from the author and this is my honest review.
I received an review copy, voluntarily this is my review
Could have been some more details about the rest of Jennifer was also kept. Boise Police department didn’t take any more action in Jennifer’s whereabouts. Gruesome
Nick’s stop in Boise (pronounced with an ‘s’ not a ‘z’) has become personal as this time the victim is an old college friend of his from Boston. For any more info, you need to get this short, quick read to find out the circumstance that draws Nick in because there is NEVER a spoiler in any of my reviews. His photography moves to a new level as it is clear that something present in one of his photos is the clue to the resolution of this fun mystery that will keep you turning the pages, and travel to Helena next, because you won’t want to delay visiting the next city on this 50 city tour. You can read these out of order, but will certainly want to go back and read the rest if you haven’t yet…and an added goody…fun facts about each place at the end of the story! I received an ARC of this book, this is my honest, unsolicited review.
Nick is a freelance photographer who is in assignment to visit all 50 state capitals in a year for a magazine! On this stop in Idaho he discovers a friend of college has been missing for a yr. Hes not satisfied with the job police are doing so he looks into it. I love this series and this book. Every city he’s been in he solves an unsolvable crime. The stories are short but have plenty of plot, action and drama packed into them. I highly recommend this book and this series!
“Buried in Boise” takes us down the macabre path of jealousy, missing persons, and murder. Excellently written, the reader is immediately enmeshed in the mystery of what happened to Jennifer Langford? The characters are engaging, even more so, knowing their names come from real people. The facts about Boise at the end of the story are interesting without being too wordy. The description of the town of Boise makes one feel as though they are there, soaking up the sights and smells of this glorious capitol. A must read!
