This time, Jaxon doesn’t want to steal anything from Kayla. He wants to give her something instead: the over-his-knee discipline she needs. Pop sensation Kayla Monroe has just been informed by her record label that her next collaboration will be with the infamous rock star Jaxon Brady — the man who stole everything from her.But as hard as she tries to hate him for the evil thing he did, there’s … evil thing he did, there’s something about him that continues to tempt her, drawing her further into his web, and risking herself all over again.
Jaxon wants more than a work relationship with the bratty, annoying Kayla. He wants her over his lap, giving her the discipline he knows she needs so desperately. But that’s dangerous, and if he’s wrong, he might lose her forever.

A quick yet highly entertaining, emotionally thrilling and action packed adventure filled with engaging charters, witty banter and undeniable passion….. was a great read from beginning to end. A great way to spend a relaxing afternoon.
Working together on a duet with a coworker under the same label is one thing but a three week tour to promote the song, now that is just pure crazy! These are the thoughts and feelings going through Kayla, the pop princess and Jaxon, the R&B bad boy minds. They are both great artists separately but that is beat, keep them separate. Can they work so closely together when they believe each one hates the other. But do they really? Is this three week tour the longest most miserable stretch of time imaginable or is it a chance to get to know one another and something more? This is not a lengthy book, a rather nice and quick read but not to worry all the much needed details are included and ready to take you on a great journey. Enjoy!

Kayla and Jaxon Are Asked To Sing A Duet, And Jaxon Thinks It Is A Joke! Engaging For Such A Quick Read.
Kayla Monroe, a British pop singer with a girl next door vibe, has a rep for being hot tempered when things aren’t done her way. Jaxon Brady, an R&B singer and player, doesn’t want to be told what to do. He operates on his own schedule without regard for others. Together, they are the top two artists with Gold Records, which is going through a rough patch. They have both been under contract with the NYC label for five years but have never worked together.
When Aaron Goldstein, CEO, asks Kayla and Jaxon to sing a duet, Jaxon thinks it is a joke. Kayla detests Jaxon and he knows it, even if the reason evades him. He suspects he doesn’t likes her much, either. Aaron expects Kayla to go on a three week tour with Jaxon to promote the song, which will then be released on Kayla’s forthcoming album. Neither performer is thrilled with the arrangement.
Kayla and Jaxon are attracted to one another but have never needed to deal with their feelings until forced to work together. They drive one another batty, yet occasionally they get caught up in those pesky feelings they have. They must come to terms with their feelings and put aside prejudice before they have hope of anything meaningful together. The couple earns a HFN!
There are some inconsistencies which might bother some readers. For example, Jaxon claims that Kayla knows who he is – a player – but separately he suggests she shouldn’t believe the tabloids. The difference is never clarified.
This is a sweet and very quick read. For such a short book, it does a good job of engaging the reader. It is nicely written with just a few occasional errors in the review copy. It is written in the third person, from both Kayla and Jaxon’s perspective. The plot is simple but holds some facts back to create mystery. The characters are nicely developed given the length. Kayla and Jaxon both feel real. I rate this book 3.5 stars.
