He’s a total alpha hole … Knight. We’re total opposites.
But you know what they say . . .
Flash a few of my curves, bat some eyelashes.
Use a few mind tricks I’ve picked up.
And BANG! From bad boy to beautiful husband.
What could go wrong?
I’m not talking getting knocked up or anything …
Oh NO!

This was actually a DNF for me. I tried, but the first sever chapters were just muddy and didn’t hold my interest at all. Dorran was just off-putting.

I really enjoyed this one by Marcella Swann. Both main characters are leading lives that they feel they’re in complete control of. Both are hiding HUGE agendas and start out being completely oblivious to what is developing between them. Could it be that some things are just not in our control??? Both main characters are complicated and complex and as their story unfolds, the reader begins to actually like these two control freaks. The surrounding cast of characters are interesting and bring depth to the story. This story has plenty of humor and heat and romance and yes – the all important HEA. Highly recommend 🙂
The author has brought the characters to life. Kerry and Dorran meet each other, and each has an agenda.

This is a fun story about how a bad boy can be brought to heel even if he doesn’t realise it is happening
Kerry Donovan may be a psychologist but she is completely blind sided when she is about to leave on holidays with her boyfriend She is expecting that he will propose what actually happens is he dumps her at the airport and takes off with his teaching assistant the same woman he has been cheating on her with. Meanwhile Dorran Knight a billionaire who made his money by cornering the market with a ride sharing app as been called to account by his board They are fed up with his bad boy dating habits and need him to settle down They are introduced to one another she can’t help be attracted by his looks but she isn’t so sure about his morals or habits while he has never met a woman that has drawn so much intellectually Will their fake relationship develop into something more You will have to read to see
Great characters and not just the main characters! Kerry after being dumped epically decides to “create” the perfect man. Dorran had just been given an ultimatum by his company, change or you’re out. Kerry decides Dorran is the perfect candidate for her project. She helps him to change using tricks of her grade unbeknownst to him. As usual with plans, things change. Kerry learns things about Dorran that makes her realize he’s not exactly what he seems. There are a few twists and turns but they do get their HEA.

The Art of the Game of Dating and Mating
Making Out with the Billionaire engages two intelligent and attractive characters in the dating and mating game. Kerry Donovan is a psychologist who understands human behavior, especially how to change socially inappropriate behavior. But ironically, Kerry misses all the signs that her long-term boyfriend, PhD candidate Eric, has been cheating on her until she arrives at the airport for their long-awaited tropical get-away only to be dumped by him as he leaves to vacation with his graduate assistant who is half his age. Dorran Knight is a billionaire entrepreneur whose ride-hailing app company has cornered the market, but who has become, according to his family and his board of directors, a bad boy with appalling dating habits and an unacceptable public demeanor that is an embarrassment to the company. To address the problem of Dorran’s destructive and tasteless dating habits, Kerry and Dorran are brought together by Stan, friend of Kerry and brother to Dorran, with the blessing and encouragement of grandmother Violet, who has a 25% stake in the company. The threat of losing control of his company forces Dorran to consider changing his dating habits and types—from alcohol-soaked bimbos seeking the monied world of Dorran—to a tasteful, educated woman eligible to be a wife—an acceptable wife.
As a favor to her friend Stan, Kerry agrees to date—or to spend time with—Dorran. She finds him physically appealing, but morally and socially lacking. He finds her intellectually challenging and physically beautiful, and as a result, never has he been more engaged in the pursuit of a woman. The game begins—can Kerry refashion the bad boy into Prince Charming?
Marcella Swann leads her characters through the intricate pathways of dating and mating and provides her readers with an entertaining experience.

This is the story of Dorran and Kerry. Dorran is a billionaire who started his business by scratch but has lost his way in alcohol and women. Kerry is a psychotherapist to major athletes. She was dumped at the airport when the man she thought was going to propose left on another plane with the other woman. She decides she’s going to take control of her love life and pick a suitable man and make him into what she wants. Dorran’s family has gotten tired of his ways and his bringing bad PR to the company and have issued an ultimatum, clean up his act and get married within a year or lose control of the company. Dorran agrees reluctantly figuring he’ll find a way out. So he plays along when his brother sets him up with Kerry. Kerry agrees as a favor to the brother who she’s been friends with for years. Dorran treating it as all fun and games decides he wants to sleep with her, using his charms to the fullest. Kerry just thinks he’s an a**. Gradually they both independently decide they may want to pursue this. Kerry thinking she can train him to be the perfect husband and Dorran having no real desire to change but he wants her sexually enough that he gradually makes little changes. From there it’s give and take as they work out their relationship. They both learn lessons about themselves and reach their HEA. I enjoyed this book. It’s your standard romance, no real angst, there is plenty of sex but the author at least waits awhile before they first have sex. The editing is really bad. This being an ARC copy I didn’t know if it was still being edited. The author didn’t respond to my query so I don’t know if the published version will be better. Not knowing I had to go with what I had so I lowered my stars based on editing. This may or may not be an issue with the published version. The story is worth reading so I do recommend it warts and all.
