Girls who dare – Inside every wallflower is the beating heart of a lioness, a passionate individual willing to risk all for their dream, if only they can find the courage to begin. When these overlooked girls make a pact to change their lives, anything can happen. Ten girls – Ten dares in a hat. Who will dare to risk it all?To Dance with a DevilA young woman desperate to escape her fate.Bonnie … Devil
A young woman desperate to escape her fate.
Bonnie Campbell’s time is almost up. In the light of no better offers, her guardian, the Earl of Morven, is forcing her to marry her cousin, Gordon Anderson. Vivacious Bonnie will have no option but to comply, condemning her to spend the rest of her life in the wilds of the Scottish Highlands, far from her friends and any possible chance of fun. During her final weeks of freedom however, she will live as though these were her last days on earth and find the courage to show the man she truly loves, just how she feels.
A young man determined to prove his older brother wrong.
Jerome Cadogan, younger brother to the Earl of St Clair, is a good-natured scoundrel. His blond, blue-eyed looks are not the least marred by his broken nose, his reputation for trouble, nor his predilection of falling in love with unsuitable women. Reeling from a stinging lecture delivered by his brother the earl, Jerome faces having his allowance cut off if he can’t mend his ways. Determined to prove that he can be every bit as mature and sensible as St Clair, Jerome swears off drinking, carousing and getting into trouble.
A scandal looking for a place to happen.
Sadly, his dearest friend Bonnie has other ideas. Lurching from one disaster to the next in her wake, Jerome is tearing his hair out and knows he must end their friendship before his brother ends him.
Yet when a hulking Highlander turns up to claim Bonnie for his own, Jerome ought to breathe a sigh of relief, but it appears his heart has done something unforgivable and fallen in love with the most unsuitable woman of all.

I love this series! This one wasn’t my favorite, but was very good. Loved Jerome. He was so good.
This series has been a roller coaster ride of fun! The 10 girls 10 dares has gained such momentum since Book 1 & I enjoy how each book has appearances from all the girls (whether in correspondence or being in London or writing in their diaries) that keeps you aware of what has happened or is happening since the first book.
Jerome Cadogan is the younger brother of the Earl of St. Clair – he is a handsome, roguish charmer with azure blue eyes and is full of wild mischief. Jerome has a reputation for finding himself in trouble, falling in love with the wrong sort of woman and now his brother has given him a choice – either he mends his ways or St. Clair will cease giving him an allowance; so, he swears off drinking, chasing woman and getting himself into problems that could cause scandal for the family.
Bonnie Campbell’s life has been one without love – her mother died when Bonnie was young, then her father died and she was shipped to relatives; none of which really cared the least about her. The Earl of Morven became her guardian and was forcing the marriage between Bonnie and her cousin, Gordon Anderson. Bonnie is a pretty, voluptuous, feisty, fun-loving, trouble making young lady and your heart goes out to how she has been treated in her life.
When Jerome & Bonnie meet, it is fun-times, fireworks, and first rate trouble making as they bring out the worst in each other. The more they are together, they more trouble they get into and Bonnie falls in love with him but Jerome made it clear that he couldn’t be anymore than friends with her. How will that work out for him? Will Bonnie survive rejection and recover from not being love in return? I highly recommend this book and the entire series – you will fall in love with the peculiar ladies, the men they love, the secondary characters the the stories that make you smile, cry, sigh “The End”!
Another win for The Peculiar Ladies! This was a great book, in a great series. I laughed, cried, got mad…ran the whole range of emotions in this book. I highly recommend this book (and this series) to all!
Love This Couple! 3.5 Stars
Bonnie and Jerome were a delight. Their antics made me smile and shake my head. With their penchant to flirt with trouble, they certainly needed the help of friends and family. They came by it honestly though. Jerome was the typical fun-loving, irresponsible younger son of nobility, and Bonnie had suffered the loss of her parents, lending to her lust for life. They were so alike in personality, yet had different backgrounds, making this a captivating story of a fast friendship that unexpectedly turns into something more. The other characters’ side stories, though interesting, took the focus away from the main characters, but this was still a fun read.
Nice story. I am not sure this story was my fav. But I enjoyed well enough. I thought the ending for them was cute.
loved the entire series of Girls who dare
You can’t help but love when two high strung people find love. This story has unexpected twists, but leads to a satisfying conclusion.

My review :
When an unsuitable Miss is not so unsuitable finally, will he see it in time …
as she is the perfect answer to all he didn’t know he was looking for …
I do not know why but my order by amazon was not confirmed, so thanks to Bookbub release warning, I was reminded about this one.
Hopefully!
One more great read to this series.
Even if the romance story can be read as a standalone, it will be better to enjoy fully your experience to begin with the first book in this series as each couple in the making is introduced gradually along the pages of the different books.
And oh my!
Bonnie from the beginning was one of the wilder, the most untamable, yet she gets closer to her freedom deadline, she becomes more and more bold and reckless.
Still behind her happy and foolhardy mask, she hides a wounded soul, so longing to belong and be loved, why maybe she is so brazen, trying to attract stares in the hope someone would see her for herself.
Jérome live quite a fickle life, one day he is in love, then the other no more or with another woman. And it is often to his family to clean up the mess he left in his wake. So when he meets a young miss most daring than him, he thought first he has found a new best friend in petticoats.
So when he realizes her feelings run deeper for him than his, he warned her how a shallow lover he would be. But nothing deter Bonnie from her quest even knowing it is all for nothing, love can’t be commanded.
Outside Bonnie and Jerome’s entanglement, Mrs Emma V Leech offers short insights in the life of the other girls from The Peculiar Ladies Book Club.
Why this series is getting better and better after each new installment, I am so on edge about Ruth, Minerva, Matilda as I feel bad for Jemina as we see so very few of her … I want to know what awaits them.
If you love heroines growing up while facing their own challenge and heroes getting their epiphany to sort out what they really want.
This 5 stars read and the 5 before it are for you.
