Welcome to northern California, where the redwoods meet the sea, surfers catch the waves, and… people grow cannabis? In their quest to prove Dora’s innocence in a murder back in Pensacola, Dora and Evie find themselves at a remote cannabis farm, where they are sucked into another murder mystery to solve.
A great adventure in California with lots of humor, a great page-turning mystery, lots of puppy love as Dora and Evie are still on their quest to prove Dora’s innocence in a murder in Pensacola, Florida. I knew as soon as I started reading, I wouldn’t be able to put this book down and really didn’t want it to end. Can’t wait for their next adventure. I received an advance reader copy of “Chaos in California” and am voluntarily leaving my review.
Chaos in California (Accidentally Undercover Mysteries Book 3) by Lucy Quinn is sucah an awesome story that I have read. This is book number three in this awesome series and I highly recommend it.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Okay so we have yet another cliffhanger. That is irritating but it is still a good story. I hope the girls go home soon because Evie is getting on my nerves. Not sure how Dora doesn’t smack her silly ALL THE TIME!
This was a fun story to read!
I love each characters but I’ll talk about the two main characters their crazy and funny. The messes they get into just never stop! Thier loveable and make you fall into the story as do the other characters. The story is full of twists and turns, mystery, drama and so much more. This book is a must read but you should read the two before because they all work together for the best fun I think. You will want them all! And they will add fun to your life. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.
Voluntarily review a copy and I honestly loved it
Lucy Quinn writes a fun, engaging cozy mystery! I think you’ll enjoy this latest edition to Dora and Evie’s adventures!
Fabulous character interaction, a few surprises, vivid picturesque scene descriptions, a murder mystery, and witty banter make “California Chaos” an entertaining read.
Evie and Dora are still hunting for the Buddha that has the evidence to clear Dora from a murder. While in Cali, they build new friendships and are coaxed into solving a murder. They also find themselves in a few sticky situations. Sunshine the Bichon pup’s antics will have you smiling and laughing.
Loving this read, I voluntarily reviewed a pre-release copy via the author.
An uproaringly good read! Evie and Dora stay on the hunt to clear Evie’s name, without their partners. There’s action, adventure and a new friend, with her own problems. Series gets better with each book! series.
Voluntarily read ARC for honest review.
They have quite an adventure in California. They manage to run into a new mystery to solve to get what they want.
I have been enjoying the series. This third book continues the fun and action from the previous books. It is nice to smile and laugh as you read their adventures. I recommend the series.
I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.
This is a brilliant addition to the series.
There’s humor romance and drama as well.
There’s some new characters that makes it real
interesting.
It finishes up on a cliffhanger.
Evie and Dora are yet again up to their necks in mayhem, cannabis and mystery. This should have been a simple task, retrieve the info and clear her name of murder. But with Evie and Dora things are never that simple and fate has once again stepped in with all her humor and chaos to give us another great installment to this fun and twisted tale of murder, adventure and jealousy. New state, new crime and riveting hilarity makes a compelling read.
In Chaos in California, Dora, Evie and Sunshine continue to track the Elusive Buddha that contains the very important flash drive that will clear Dora of a murder charge. However, the Buddha is being held for ransom. To get the Buddha back, the girls must prove that an accidental death was actually murder and figure out who is the murderer. The adventure continues while the girls hide out at a cannabis farm! Will they get the flash drive? You will have to read the book to find out!
Chaos in California (Accidentally Undercover Mysteries Book 3)
Two wacky women (Dora & Evie) along with a little pup are still trying to find evidence to clear one of them of murder. What follows is a crazy adventure in California that includes a pot farm, pigs, murder, adultery and a whole lot of fun. Another enjoyable installment from Lucy Quinn.
Dora, Evie, and of course the pup are still chasing the evidence to clear Dora from a murder. California is beautiful and green with plants containing 5 leaves and is legal there. It seems that the person with her evidence is only willing to part with it if the “sleuths” solve a murder mystery for her. Oh, yeah, and work on her farm involving pigs and Canibus and other things.
There is plenty of humor, some scary times, puppy humor, and yeah, even some romance.
You’ll enjoy this new chapter in freeing Dora with some surprises as well as another cliff hanger but there is no cliff in sight–or a ladder.
Is the third time the charm? Dora and Evie have arrived in California with the expectation of obtaining the evidence to clear Dora of a murder charge, but nothing ever quite goes smoothly with these two best friends. Another woman is in hiding and provides a temporary home, promising the return of the Buddha containing the flash drive with the proof of innocence if the girls will help solve the mysterious death of a close friend. Once again, these two along with Sunshine, the amazingly talented Bichon, are on the case, producing many hilarious situations and close brushes with danger. Will our heroines ever get back to Pensacola, clear Dora’s name and reunite with the men they left behind? I love Dora and Evie, and Lucy Quinn continues to introduce new and even more entertaining characters, who keep the story moving in unexpected and exciting directions. I’m never sure what’s going to happen next, but I can’t wait to find out. Note: I received an ARC from the author, but this is my voluntary review of this entertaining book.
Evie and Dora are still on the trail of that elusive Buddha Bank. A trail which leads them to a weird enclave in California where not everyone is what, or who, they appear to be!
Windy and her compatriots are a weird bunch. You’re never too sure who is a good guy with a streak of blad luck or if they really are a bad guy! But to get their flash drive they need to help solve ANOTHER murder.
Sushi (aka Sunshine) just about steals every scene she appears in! And there are a couple of very welcome allies and one big puzzle piece is cleared up!
It is amazing how much trouble Dora and Evie can get themselves into trying to clear their names in a death that occurred in the first book in this series. I love all the running around in this one and how Sunshine seems to always know what they girls need or want. I thought this book was hiliarious in places and I am really into this series. I just can wait to see what is going to happen in Book 4.
Dora and Evie are back for more road tripping fun, along with Sunshine who has an adventure all of her own…lol.
I love the new places they visit with each story and the new people we get to meet Windy is an awesome new character I also really love how Dora and Evie solve mysteries they really are a great team and then there Luke and Trace always there for a hug before sending the girls off on another leg of their endless journey but what a fun ride it’s been so far I’m really looking forward to more for these two wacky girls.
