Welcome to Whisperwood Sanitorium… delusions end and a strange reality begins.
…where the petting zoo gets a little insane.
Crane has always avoided the living at all costs, his job in the morgue only helping his desires. When he runs into a mysterious stranger at a bar one night, his life takes a sudden turn into hell. Now, he’s hearing a mysterious voice and the proper jerk has a fascination with heads. Willingly checking himself into Whisperwood should have been the answer to his problems. Instead, the feisty blonde with a taste for trouble only seems to make his own yearning for blood stronger.
When All Hallows Eve crashes down upon Kenzie and Crane, will they be strong enough to survive the massacre, or will they remain locked within the suffocating walls of Whisperwood Sanitorium?
Head Case contains depictions of gore, blood, and a sexy Horseman. Don’t forget to mind your head…

Holy mother of blood! This book was absolutely fantastic! It sucked me in and held me captive until the end. The excitement and suspense kept building throughout the book and exploded in a bloody end. The heat level was scorching hot, totally crazy and funny. Trust me, you’ve never met a Headless Horseman like this.
I highly recommend this fabulous Halloween book. I swear you won’t regret it.
Can you say gore? I mean, good… I mean great! How do you come up with stories like this??? So different, so violent and at the same time sooooooo sexy and yummy and hot. This is one of those stories in which you need to expect the unexpected knowing it will turn out even better than what you hoped!
Whoa, that was an incredible story. I loved this different take of the Headless Horseman. This is the perfect book to get into for the Halloween festivities if you love scary movies and such. I really liked the characters. The intensity of emotions and chemistry with Kenzie and Crane aka “H”.
So we have Crane and Kenzie who meet at Whisperwood Sanitarium. So they hit it off but Kenzie senses something with Crane but doesn’t question it. Why would she? They are both in a Psych ward. So Crane has a lot of emotions coming off him. Some to do with him and some to do with a voice in his head. Say what? That is what I said, A voice in his head. Well Crane has nightmares and is trying to figure out what is real and what is a dream until he finally gives in. In the meantime, the development between him and Kenzie heats up. Whoa is it hot too. Then some crazy stuff starts to happen and finally punishment is doled out. The Headless Horseman shows up and heads start falling. The mayhem that occurs is crazy.
This book was so reallly good, twisted and freaking bloody. I loved it. If you have triggers than I would not recommend.
This was a perfect pre-Halloween story.
Crane and Kenzie come together in a book full of chemistry and craziness. But are they crazy?
Their attraction is unique and they truly don’t let anyone get in their way.
I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
What a unique retelling of The Headless Horseman. Although it is a little darker than I normally read, I enjoyed the book. I loved the relationships between Kenize and Mitzi, Kenzie and Danny and Gina and of course between Kenzie and Crane.
There are some graphic scenes (sex and violence), but the book has a good story line. And an honest look inside an sanatorium and how some of the patients were treated.
This is fantastic, Headcase is a retelling of The Headless Horseman but with a twist. You will not be disappointed reading this it is funny and very steamy in places. Kenzie is a resident of Whisperwoods where she has been all her life, enter Crane he checks himself in after an odd meeting in a bar. The two hit it off immediately and then strange things start happening and all will be revealed on Halloween. I highly recommend that you read this book. Heads will roll
I’m not sure what it says about me that I enjoyed this book so much when it is filled with blood and gruesomeness!
A headless horseman, an asylum called Whisperwood….. it’s all very clever.
I loved the book was told from each of Kenzie and Crane’s perspective.
Five stars for blood and sexiness! Never thought I would ever write a comment like that!! hahaha
This book is not for the faint of heart! Filled with gore and blood, this is the perfect Halloween retelling of the Headless Horseman. Crane and Kenzie are the perfect little psychos I didn’t know I needed in my life. I love their immediate chemistry and it continues throughout the book. The sexy times are steamy and the story line flowed wonderfully. Great job ladies!
