The Middle Road is another great book by K.G. Reuss, and the first non dark romance I’ve read from her. Carter is given just months to live and sets off to see the country with his best friend. They meet Teddy on their travels, and falling for her has Carter rethinking all his past life decisions as a viscous businessman and player. Together, they save each other. This book has all the feels, and overall is a great love story between Carter and Teddy!
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough with twists and turns hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that makes you want more with the chemistry and romance.

Immediately I knew this book would be awesome based on the opening. I need to buy stock in Kleenex after reading this moving story. There’s nothing like death to put the little things into perspective. I kept hoping he would use his wealth to find a cure and fight!! Little did he know he had an angel on his shoulder…his Teddy Bear!!! This book has it all. From family reunions to changed views about life and from making dreams come true to first loves!! Get your tissues ready!!

What a story. This book really captured my heart and attention. Carter’s story had me in tears, made me laugh out loud and made me hot all over (I am so embarrassed to admit that). His journey to become a better man was amazing and so inspiring. Teddy is such an amazing woman, full of fun and so much in love with Carter. I was so glad when Carter went for the operation and he was clean from cancer, I was so glad that he and Teddy had a lifetime together.
I loved the other characters as well. Derek, Luke and sweet Molly, you all stole my heart
This book gave me all the feels. I loved that Carter turned his life around with a little help. It did take a serious illness for him to wake up but at least he took the effort to change.
This is an emotional read that left me with an ugly cry and I loved it! Carter gets life changing news and decides to make his last days count. Along the way he meets Teddy and his life is turned upside down again. I was having a hard time with this book because I didn’t want it to end. This is a well written, beautiful and emotional story that had me captivated and a perfect, unforgettable ending. Loved it!
This is a story where you better have the tissues handy because I guarantee that you are going to be crying at some time through this book.
Carter is given a death sentence because of cancer but instead of curling up in a corner he decides to grab life by the short and curlies and live as though every day will be his last. He and his driver Derick who is also his best friend take to the open road heading in no particular direction and on the way meet people who just need a helping hand You will laugh and cry at the trip they take but it is only when they pick up Teddy she hasn’t had a easy life and always tries to play it safe This cut throat businessman and her should have nothing in common but what they have is a love that may conquer all. Will Carter take a chance at a cure that could have devastating consequences or will he leave Teddy forever.
This is a story that will keep your emotions going all over, I would say keep the Kleenex handy. Once I started this book there was no way I was putting it down. This is the first book by this Author that I have read. Carter is dying and he only has one thing he wants to do and that is a cross- country trip. Carter meets Teddy a woman who is always follow a Middle of the road attitude, but he will not tell her what he is hiding, his driver Derek is the only one that knows about it. Teddy’s Father is a specialist and could give Carter hope. I recommend this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Carter and Teddy had so much they have to overcome. When Carter was diagnosed with cancer he turned into a not so good man. That is until Teddy entered his life. She had her own demons and together they made a pact. They are good for each other and made the other better. There is a chance for Carter to kick his cancer with a new doctor but will Carter take that leap of faith and go out on a limb or will he live with his consequences and leave Teddy behind?
