Sometimes you can’t tell the end of a story by the color of hat someone wears and sometimes, second chances change everything… he’s free to keep living.
Josephine Myers lives on the run, never straying too far from the towns of Purgatory or Redemption. She won’t leave, even though to stay means she’s putting herself right into the line of fire. She’s too frightened to fight back, and much too afraid to run far. Until Clay rides into her life, saving her from a terrible attack.
Clay and Josephine’s redemption might come at a steep price, depending on who wins. The white hat…or the black.

This is the second book in the redemption bluff series.
This Is a western with a paranormal twist on it. It’s the first time I’ve read a book like this and i found it enjoyable.
I would of have it 5 stars but I found some of the points of views confusing but other than that i enjoyed it.
I recommend this book if you want a twist on a western story with well written characters that will intrigue and fascinate you
Talk about the ultimate good guy vs bad guy story, this one has heaven/hell being also involved. I loved the plot story of Josephine and Clay, but the background story of the conflict between Gabriel and Ezreal is powerful. Lynda Cox has truly written the story of forgiveness and grace in this story. I highly recommend it.
Outlaw’s Redemption
(Redemption Bluff Book 2)
by Lynda J Cox
Lynda Cox’s book Outlaw’s Redemption is not your usual Good Vs Bad Guy story certainly, it has a bit of interesting paranormal twist; in a western. A beautiful addition to the Redemption Series, readers will not want to miss this addition. A little different type of story, where the characters in control the events; causing chaos, danger and killing are not the ones readers would expect.
Ms. Lynda Cox delivers a great, well written story with characters the readers can care about. Her enthusiastic use of words puts a distinctive perspective of bringing Good versus Evil into a story. While offering a story of grace and redemption, without lecturing; making this book a truly pleasant read.
Readers will be captivated within the first few pages, gasping at the struggle between good and evil, and turning the pages not able to put it down (some readers might need tissues); but a great afternoon read. I really enjoyed reading about the characters adventures of the good and evil, the heart-melting care between the characters and that is only part the story. A must read for those liking interesting paranormal twist in a western, a great combination receiving 5-stars.
Interesting characters and story – a good vs evil western paranormal read. Has good guys, bad guys, and angels vying to determine the final outcome. So well written and the intriguing character development will make you become emotional involved.
When you make choices sometime, you may have a little help.
Clay has a past and is trying to find Redemption from his choices. He is given a job from US Marshal Mathers, an Uncle of Josephine, who disappeared when she was young. To cleanse his soul before the hangman’s noose, he agreed to find her and report her back to Mathers and wait for his arrival so he can reunite her with his family.
With good and evil pitted against each other, Clay has no clue that forces are pulling his destiny into different directions.
When Josephine finds herself at the hands of bad men and Clay comes to her rescue, she cannot believe anyone would do so since she is a soiled dove and the proper society people would never lift a hand in her defense. She soon finds out that Clay is not the average person and his trusty dog, Princess, and return her into the arms of her loving family.
When good and evil find another force pulling strings, they resolve themselves to help Clay and Josephine despite the consequences of their action.
Outlaw’s Redemption is a beautiful addition to the Redemption Series. It’s well written and a great afternoon read.
I loved this book! Ms. Lynda does it again! A great western with a bit of an unexpected twist. Cole is a dead man walking. He has nothing to offer Josephine. The best he can do is get her to the safety of her family. He has a date with the hangman, if he makes it that far.
Lynda puts a unique spin on how this story of redemption is told. An angel and fallen angel are watching things unfold to see if love can really change the outcome of what they know will happen. I was on pins and needles throughout the whole story especially when there was unexpected interference.
Something else Lynda does an amazing job at is writing villains that make your skin crawl and having them meet the perfect ending. The ending will bring tears to your eyes for so many reasons and you won’t want it to end.
Josephine was frightened and alone in the world until Clay and Princess saved her and gave her the strength to fight. I loved seeing her remember the past and telling her uncle what she wanted for Clay. She wasn’t going to give up on Clay or let anyone else suffer as she had.
Clay has spent two searching for her to avoid hanging, but he also saw what happened all those years ago and wants the villains to pay. When he threatened people he meant it and it could send shivers down your spin. I loved that he wasn’t going to let her go back even if it meant his death.
Princess the dog deserves to be talked about because he is an amazing dog. He would give his life to protect Clay and Josephine and hated it when he was kept away. I loved how well trained he was.

I truly enjoyed reading this book. Second in the Redemption Bluff Multi Author Series.
Author Lynda Cox puts a different spin on the story bringing Good versus Evil into it with a bit of paranormal activity.
Not your usual Good Guy/Bad Guy story indeed. Clay Denton has been searching for Josephine Myers for the past two years, spurred on by her uncle, a US Marshall. She is a part of his past and also struggling to remember her past. He is living on a tightrope, knowing that once found, he will be at the Marshall’s mercy and will be facing the Hangman, for crimes in his past. Josephine was forced into a life she did not want. One of prostitution.
At the hands of Clay’s nemesis, she becomes the prize they will battle for. Will Good or Evil win?
This book was so compelling I read it in 2 sittings, only because life got in the way. Otherwise it would have been a one sitting read.
I received an ARC of this book and am choosing to leave an honest review.
Such a unique way to tell this story! All throughout this tale of danger and love, the “narrators”, if you can call him that, are watching the drama unfold as they have their own battle of wits between messengers of good and evil. One is an angel and the other a fallen angel! I hope you will all enjoy this wonderfully different saga and it’s layout as much as I did!!
From the cover art and the book blurb, I expected this was going to be one of those formulaic bad man redeemed by the love of a good woman stories. I wasn’t exactly wrong, but it’s so much more than that. I loved the mystery surrounding Clay and Jo’s past, their perception that they are damaged goods and don’t deserve to be happy and loved and most of all the celestial battle of good and evil that is the framework to the story.
Fans of pioneer and cowboy stories will love this one, but it’s a great read, regardless what genre you normally reach for at the book store.
I have to say I was on pins and needles. This is a story of redemption and the power of love. The angels were a nice touch.
I really thought it was well-written. It took a few minutes to establish the good vs evil angels to start with, but it was a original view point. She makes you love to good guys and hate the bad guys like they were actually a part of your own life. It takes you back in time.
to say i was confused reading this book! hes living on borrowed time for something he did years ago. she is running scared for her life. read to find out what happens.
