All I want is for my band to see success. All she wants is a nomadic life on her own. But two little red lines have another kind of crazy future in store for us.When I meet Lucy at my brother’s wedding, blood rushes to my head—and not the one on my shoulders. It feels like I’m dreaming when she presses her lips to my ears and tells me to meet her out by the gazebo.Lucy’s only in town for the … only in town for the night, though. And I’m too focused on my band to go chasing after a girl. So after she leaves, I try my damn hardest not to think about her.
But our little rendezvous stays with me. And weeks later, when she texts me out of the blue, I can’t help but feel giddy.
Then she drops the bomb: she’s pregnant. And it’s mine.
Becoming a dad isn’t anywhere in my plans. I’m only twenty-one. And right now, my head and heart are completely dedicated to my band.
But the thing is…I want to make this work with her.
Even though it might be impossible.
ROCKED is a full-length accidental pregnancy romance and can be read as a standalone! This steamy hot novel delivers a happily ever after, and absolutely no cheating or cliffhangers.

All it took is one night………….Oops!!!
I liked this second story in the Ripley Brothers series by Kate Hunt. This book is about Lucy and Micah. She crashes he brothers wedding and they share one fantastic night together. But she moves on as she is a free spirit who is living out of her van and traveling where ever the road takes her. He is concentrating on his band and music career but he cannot get her out of his head. One quick text later and there is some very unexpected news and some serious decisions they will have to make.
This book has an interesting story-line and nice characters wrapped up into a fast paced story that is enjoyable.

A Quick And Easy Read About A Musician And A Stubbornly Independent Woman! Nice Story, But Light On Depth.
Micah Ripley, twenty-one, has always dreamed of his band making it big one day. He has put years of hard work into building his talent and his band, The Sonic Rips. He and his bandmates all have day jobs, but they hope to make music their career one day.
Micah comes from a big family. With four siblings, get-togethers are always a good time. His brother Finn announces that he is getting married, and Micah and his bandmates have a hard time turning Finn down when he asks them to perform at the reception. Although they aren’t a cover band, they are musicians and certainly talented enough to pull it off.
Lucy, twenty-one, is fiercely independent. She watched her friends go away to college while she stayed home and attended community college. She hasn’t excelled in school, and doesn’t have a grand plan for life. She inherits some money from her grandmother and comes up with a plan. With just a little small amount of help from her father, she purchases a van and converts the back into living space. She plans to travel the country until she runs out of money. She may even extend her time on the road by earning money online.
When Micah and Lucy meet at Finn’s wedding, they have an instant connection that leads to a one night stand. But Lucy sticks with her plan and leaves town the next day. The discovery that she is pregnant, however, brings them face to face again. Lucy cautiously holds back from asking or expecting anything, while Micah holds back for fear of scaring her off. Forced together by circumstances, the couple finally has the chance to get to know one another and build a relationship. The couple works through the stress of getting to know one another and band-related obstacles to earn a HFN ending.
This book is an easy read. It is well-written. The plot is basic and the characters lack depth, but it is touching in the end. The POV alternates between Micah and Lucy. I rate this book four stars.

This is the second book in the Ripley Brothers series, it can be read as a standalone story. Lucy and Micah meet when Lucy crashes Micah’s brothers wedding. Their attraction was immediate and pretty soon finds out that she’s expecting. We follow the romance between the rocker and the free spirit as they navigate the unexpected pregnancy and a band tour. The characters are likable and sweet. The storyline is interesting and quick to read.
If you are looking for a book with instant attraction, a little bit of sass and snark, a rocker ready to take his band to the big time, a free-spirit, an oops pregnancy and two people determined to make it all work out, look no farther! A great second story to the Ripley family series. Micah and Lucy are absolutely perfect together!

This was written so beautifully. At times I was screaming at my screen at Lucy and Micah to figure it out. There’s no long drawn out separation and they eventually do figure it out. We also get to catch up with the rest of the family and see Finn and Jenna again. Can’t wait for the other stories and little hint thrown out about Kira.

The second book in the Ripley Brothers series definitely does not disappoint. Micah and Lucy’s story shows the struggles between dreams and reality.
Micah’s band is on the verge of a break through just as his relationship with Lucy started. With a baby in the mix, they struggle to do what needs to be done.
The love and support they have from their families is amazing and it is heartbreaking to see them so uncertain about their.own relationship.
This story will keep wanting more that it is hard to put it down.
