An invitation to Cupid’s Café will change your life. After the incident that caused Liv Morozov to drop out of college, years later she’s still trying to pick up the pieces of her life. She’s managed to carve out a career for herself as a photographer, but when it comes to guys? Her issues send them running for the hills, every damn time.Zane Parata has declared himself off-limits for … off-limits for relationships. Between trying to maintain sobriety and the long hours he works as a chef, no one wants to deal with his brand of damage, and he wouldn’t want to burden them in the first place.
When Liv shows up at Cupid’s Café, she never expected to find Zane, her brother’s former best friend who had vanished one day and never returned. The sparks that surged when they were both teens rekindle stronger than ever, and all too fast, Liv and Zane entangle in each other’s lives, breaking their own rules. Except with both struggling with the demons from their past, the love that’s begun to grow is one lapse away from shattering the two of them beyond repair.

Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.

Liv and Zane are friends forever – her brother was his best friend. They reconnect when they’re invited to the same event at a cafe, neither of them sure they can do this. They both feel like broken and damaged goods, trying to cope and move forward while not really living. He backs off, she comes after him; she backs off, he comes after her. But they haven’t completely opened up to each other about their pasts. When Zane runs into her brother, events force them to confront their demons together. This is a beautiful story, not a recycled second chance idea. I love how Liv and Zane keep each other honest in their struggle forward. This is my first read from this author (not the last for sure), and the first book in the Cupid’s Cafe series.

Liv Morozov knew Zane Parata because her brother was his best friend. Before the two could explore a relationship, Zane totally vanished one day and never came back! He works as a chef now, trying to deal with his alcoholism and struggling to remain sober. Relationships now were not even a possibility because he saw himself as so broken that no one should be burdened with him.
After a horrible incident caused Liv to drop out of college, she still isn’t able to pick up the pieces and move on completely. She works as a photographer, but she too is damaged and cannot find a man willing to deal with her issues.
Zane and Liv received invitations to Cupid’s Café and went there to give it a try. It was a shock, however, when they saw each other. The sparks that surged when they were both teens are rekindled even stronger than before. Was this a true second chance for the two of them to find healing and get past their own brokenness? Would they be willing to try and to discover the HEA that has been waiting for them?
This was a good story line with characters who were likable and had been working hard to survive the really tough knocks life gave them. The reader really wants to see them find each other and make a life for themselves. Can they do it? Can they overcome the bad and together create a good life filled with love? Grab your copy and find out what is waiting for them!
The third book in the Cupid’s Cafe series a well written story. Olivia/Liv Morozov and Zane Parata’s story of two people trying to overcome there pasts and get a second chance. I enjoyed reading their story, for both of them there is so much pain in the ten years they have been apart. I want to read the next book. This is the third book in the multi author series and was another really enjoyable second chance romance and is Zane and Liv’s story my heart hurt at times for these two but I thought they were really quite sweet together and they had good chemistry which led to some steamy bits.
