I would really love to know DP’s thought processes as she creates her major characters: blind stupidity, no common sense, hairy (the heroes), martyr syndrome, etc… Once they turn into secondary characters in some other train wreck’s book, they seem to turn into rational, happy, shiny people. I guess it works as here I am reading and complaining …
