Kendra Bailey has a secret. She’s in love with her new business partner, Tyler Ellis. Tyler is the perfect man. He’s honest, smart, caring, and handsome as sin.Meanwhile, Tyler only sees Kendra as his business partner and the daughter of his father’s best friend. He has a secret of his own, one that if Kendra finds out will tear her world apart
This is one of those books that you will remember. This is a short book that covers some deep issues that people don’t like to talk about or even acknowledge. I cried and laughed in this book. I cried because people are giving up on things and people that actually make them happy. Its funny when truth is realized that everything was right in the beginning. It just was not seen. Really enjoyed reading this book. Its not often that I read books that truly make me think, laugh, cry and just enjoy. This one will surprise you.

Very well written – great start to what can be a fantastic and romantic story
This author was new to me when I decided to give this book a try. The blurb sounded very promising and intriguing and I wasn’t disappointed.
Characters from this book were very likeable and I felt connected to them, especially to the heroine. She has issues not only with the company she is running but also with her self-esteem. I really liked that this is the base for the whole storyline to be built around. There are not so many books touching this subject as everyone expects for the fictional characters to be strong, brave, sexy and not lacking anything, almost perfect. But I love reading about not perfect people as they are closer to the reality and I can relate to what they are going through. For me this book was moving and gave me all the feels I’m looking for while indulging in the fictional worlds. The story ends with a cliffhanger and I cannot wait for another part to see how the plot will unravel.
Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength, happiness with a happily ever after. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

What you see is not always what is the truth…………..at least when you think you know someone else
Unrequited is the first book in a new series by Charlotte Dinnis, who is a new author to me. As this is the first book I have read by this author I was not sure what to expect but the book description looked like it could be entertaining and as it is novella length I figured I would give it a try. After all I am always up for discovering new authors whose writing style and story telling ability I like.
Unrequited did not disappoint me as it is a well written book with flawed but really interesting characters and a fascinating and deep story-line. Kendra and Tyler grew up together as their father’s are best friends. But they are not children any more and things are more complicated when you are an adult, with a lot more “baggage” that we all drag around with us. Kendra is definitely dealing with a lot, she took over the running of her father’s company but it is not doing so well, she has some self-esteem issues and is not complete sure of her own abilities (like no other woman can relate to this one at all, I say tongue in cheek), which results in Tyler and his company have stepped in to help save the company and have become her business partner. Add to all that the fact that Kendra things Tyler is perfect in every way and she has a major crush on him. But he is not seeing her in any way other than as a business partner, after all she is in the “no go zone” because of their father’s being bf’s. Like I said this first book lays the ground work for some deeply interesting issues going forward. But there is also a lightness to the story telling, almost a lilt with a twist.
This story does end on a cliffhanger so the next book will need to be read to find out what happens. I enjoyed reading Unrequited and getting to know Kendra and Tyler a bit. It will be fascinating to see where their story goes in the next book.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
