I’M HERE TO SCREAM ABOUT THIS BOOK!
I read Forget Me Not by Q.B. Tyler and it took me by utter surprise. I devoured Bennett and Olivia’s story. DEVOURED. They pulled me in and had my complete, undivided attention. What made it even better was experiencing that feeling as if a fist was clenched around my heart. That’s what it felt like for at least the first 10%…and then some.
This book involved some heavy situations, and in part, some SERIOUS feelings came about. I could relate to Olivia on a certain level. The constant questioning of, “What’s wrong with me? Why not me?” It’s tears you down. It makes you feel unworthy. It’s HARD. Nonetheless, this Olivia was strong. There wasn’t a moment she didn’t fight for herself or her heart. No matter the outcome, her own happiness was always end game.
Bennett — although this guy made a horrible decision, his unwavering love and fight for Olivia had me rooting for him. He was protective, domineering in the best way, and you could feel the regret he felt roll off the pages. And our Olivia made this guy work!
Also, I was NOT expecting the level of HOT this book contained. There should be a warning label across it. I’m just going to share a personal favorite snippet (I apologize if you don’t like a certain word):
“Now,” I whisper low in her ear. “I want you to answer the door, in nothing but my shirt, with the taste of my c*ck and your c*nt on your tongue and deal with her.” I press a kiss to the space behind her ear and take a step back meeting her wide eyes. “I am yours, Olivia Clarke.” I back away from her before turning towards my room, I call over my shoulder. “Make sure she’s clear on that this time.”
I couldn’t put this book down — but when I absolutely had to, these characters and the possibility of what would happen next were all I could think about. Forget Me Not is a punch to the feelings — it’s captivating, tangible, seductive storytelling.
Oh my Stars! My heart was so unprepared for this book!! What an emotional read! This book was both devastating and Beautiful! Forget Me Not wasps very Raw and all-consuming! I thought my heart was never going to get a break! My emotions were everywhere and I definitely shed some tears! Live and Clark are two people whom you can’t help but love. Love isn’t always perfect and sometimes life tests us. This book really sheds light on some hardships of marriage and divorce and how life for all involved. Typically I don’t like to be sad while reading because sometimes the line between reality and fiction often blurs for the reader. When you relate to a book on a serious level it often can make one reflect and sometimes you can’t help but compare. For myself, I can usually spend random moments or days thinking about a book I’ve read and when it’s really heartbreakingly emotional I can’t lose the feeling. This book was wonderful and I’m so happy it was written because so many couples out there deal with keeping their marriage alive and whole. This story was so much more than a second chance! Very well written and lots of heart and soul was put into this book! Loved it! Nothing worth it is ever easy. I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.
Bennett and Olivia will draw you into their story and touch your heart. Bennett made a misstep in their marriage and as a result Olivia pulled away but she also had faults of her own. Can they look at his accident as a way to get back what they once had? Communication is a vital factor in any relationship and when there isn’t any something goes amiss. When Olivia miscarried, she failed to let her husband in on what was going on and pulled away leaving Bennett to think she no longer cared. Will they ever have that happily ever after again?
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
