It was against my will. But family has a way of forcing you into tight spots, right? My wealthy father wanted me at his swanky benefit and refused to budge. Luckily for me, the most beautiful curvy woman happened to come too. Only one problem: she thinks I’m rich too. No way in hell I can tell her the truth. Women like men that can deck them out in jewels, and that ain’t me. I don’t share … deck them out in jewels, and that ain’t me.
I don’t share in the family inheritance, not yet at least.
Hard work is all I know. It’s who I am.
But will she understand that if the truth comes to light?
I’m just a normal guy in love with a woman far above my paygrade.
And she’s going to freak when she finds out I’ve been pretending to be rich.

I enjoyed this new story in the “Bad Boy Greeks” series. This is an entertaining story that is interesting and captivating. Cade and Eliana are great together. Both deserve happiness. They are very likable characters with wonderful chemistry. These two meet at a charity gala for the rich and wealthy. All is not as it seems though. I enjoyed the twists and turns in this romantic story.
I really enjoyed Cade’s story. He is such a lovable and nice guy. I’m glad we got his story and found out more about him.
It took me a while to warm up to Eliana but given her parental issues it was expected she’s guarded. Cade had to go through a bit of a struggle to tear up walls she built up around her heart, but it was definitely worth it and their HEA was perfectly sweet.
The storyline was interesting with lots of family drama and couple of secrets, but also with great friendships, funny banter and hot chemistry between main characters.
I’m hoping we’ll get Maceo’s story next!
I received an advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
When push comes to shove, Cade and his jovial, persevering personality are the strength and endurance it takes to convince Eliana he’s the right guy to date. Even if it is just once.
Accidental secrets, family baggage that could rival a landfill and insecurities mixed with the fear of the unknown will plague these two before they’ve even begun.
Cade’s no quitter- what will he do for the women he just met that makes his heart flutter?
A tantalizing mixture of sweet, seductive, and fun.
‘ Pretending To Be Rich ‘ had a unique, real feel along with its bold characters, and widespread emotions.
A great read, even if I did want to shake a female character, though most of the book…. ( I mean make up your mind already GEEZE LOL )
The third book in the Bad Boy Greeks series, Pretending to be Rich has everything you need from a well written bad boy book… likable characters, secrets, lies, family drama, twists and turns, witty banter, humor, sizzling’ chemistry, and a happily ever after.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
I absolutely LOVED this book from the Bad Boys Greek series.
Pretending to be rich had all the emotions in one place. I laughed, I cried, I cursed, etc.
Cade a regular but humble guy had a little bit of struggle trying to get the girl he wanted, his self esteem and confidence didn’t help neither to the point that he pretended to be rich to impress her but that didn’t work neither, her life (Eliana) was shattered and had a wall up around her heart to protect herself and the ones she cared about.
It took an unexpected event for Cade to build up the necessary confidence and keep fighting for her, he didn’t give up and at the end, they both got their HEA.
Weston Parker, swooned me again with this Italian Greek guy and left me with a want of more. I can’t wait for the next book!!
Another wonderful book by Weston Parker. I am always happy to see secondary characters get their HEA and this was no different. I love finding out the backstory on these other characters and seeing them in their lives and how they live is always good for me. I wasn’t expecting this book but was happy to read an ARC for an honest review. You should read this series if you haven’t already.
Another great addition to this series. I enjoyed Cade’s character when he first came into the series and I am so happy that we got a chance to see more into where he came from and why he is the way he is. He is a very sweet man who loved deeply and unconditionally. Eliana is a very beautiful young woman who works hard and hasn’t always had it easy. She has a mother who is truly a piece of work and never wanted to have her child to begin with. When these two first meet she walks away not interested. Will he change her mind and show her what kind of person he truly is?? I thought the story was written well and thoroughly enjoyed the characters. Enjoy.
PRETENDING TO BE RICH Bad Boy Greeks Book #3 By Weston Parker
This is the story of Cade, whom we met in Rand’s story, book 2. I loved Cade he is so sweet, funny, he runs his own Gelato shop. Eliana is an event server for a caterer. They meet when Cade’s father gives him a command performance to show up to a gala and Eliana is working there. He talks her into exchanging numbers with him because he attracted to her right off.
Weston Parker is one very talented author! I always know he is going to bring the complete package to the table, great story line, such truly likable characters, banter, and chemistry. Weston Parker, Maceo needs his book too! I give this 5 stars.
Cute story. Cade a character from several Greek summer books now has his own book. It is definitely interesting and I hope everyone takes the time to read a Gun book!!!
I loved Cade when we first met him in the series, and I loved having this opportunity to get to know him better. He’s so much more complex than I ever could have guessed, with lots of family drama he’s escaping. Eliana was a little tougher for me to warm up to. She has so much baggage that keeps getting in the way of her happiness and it drove me a little mental watching all the mixed signals she gave out. I was so happy to see the pair of them finally get out of their own way to find their forever. And do I sense the set up for one more book in the series from the epilog? I hope so.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Loved Cade’s story so much. I couldn’t put it down. The writing was on point as always.
Cade and Eliana were both scarred characters due to the relationships that they have with their parents. The story was well written with great characters and a storyline that was filled with plenty of up/downs, twists/turns, chemistry and love.
You won’t have to pretend to love this book
Eliana, an event center server, meets Cade, a small gelato shop owner, at a charity gala where he makes a comment that he is the “richest of the rich.” As the story progresses he tells his story, she fights her heart, and facing the truth could bring them back to each other. Weston Parker’s Pretending to be Rich is filled with many ups, downs, twists, and turns you won’t have to pretend to love this book. I was so excited to read Cade’s book and it did not disappoint.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
