AtticusAs the medical doctor on the Discovery, I’m exposed to the human females regularly. In addition to monitoring their health, I’ve documented and logged all the mating changes.Of course, I long for a mate of my own. But I can’t imagine it’ll happen before I’m obligated to return and complete my family commitment. Many of the males on the Discovery have similar family agreements, so imagine … similar family agreements, so imagine our surprise when mating marks appear on all of us—all at once!
Ashlyn
My entire life is controlled by my mother and the genetic disease I was born with that robs me of so much, including the ability to have a baby. As if the special schools and special classes weren’t enough, now my mother is considering a special home!
So, when I’m offered another life—one that sounds too good to be true—I jump at the chance to be healed and have a family.
Of course, no one mentioned the danger. Someone isn’t happy about the Earth women. They’re discovering spies who not only plan to report back to their planet, but also have orders to kill us all…

This is another exciting book in this series. The Quasar continue to find new mates and those at home continue to dislike the changes and want to stop them. This all leads to an exciting story with plenty of steam. A great read.

I love that Atticus found his mate! Ashley has overcome so much and suits him perfectly. Each time I read a new book in this series, I go back and re-read from the beginning! Thank you Peal. Love the HEA, and yes, I highly recommend this book.

I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading I could not put it down until I read the last page.

Firstly, book appears to be a stand alone part of a series. Due to this there are a few moments when you’re lost, and you figure out info was covered in a previous book. While this part of the story ends, the entire story line is still unfolding. I did find a rather large plot hole in that the earth does not realize there are aliens, much less realize some of their people are leaving.
So…what happens w/ the families? Did the h’s mother just forgot about her?
Does she think she’s dead?
In spite of this, I rather enjoyed this book. I love the way the story progressed. The relationship between the main characters was beautiful.
There is a bit of a novel approach to the whole alien mates theme, which was a nice surprise. I have to say I was impressed by the author’s depiction of the h. It really made me think. In regards to individuals with neurological and developmental disorders; its understood that they sometimes are unable to understand some thought processes, actions and interactions. However, I don’t know if I’ve ever considered if the individual may understand, and is just unable to explain/communicate.
So short: not perfect, but enjoyable, and I will read more by this author.

Another lovely book in the Qusar series. It has a nice plot with a great story line. Well written.
This one is one of my favorites. Ashlyn has not had an easy life. Growing up with disease, that messes with her body responses. Life has not been easy for her. Her mom was not easy either, she come across as mean. Then Ashlyn gets a chance at a better life…..
Atticus just wants to study the mating and the changes that come about. No one is quite willing though. Then he gets a chance….
Then there is the spy…..
Read the book to find out what happens…..

What a sweet journey for Ashlyn and Atticus. Ashlyn has fragile x syndrome and her mother wants to put her in a home. She has a “dream” where a lady asks her if she wants to go away from earth to be mates to an alien who can heal her from her disease. She goes and realizes there are many more women there with other diseases. Atticus knows from the beginning she’s his mate because his mating marks come to life. They have a mystery on board their ship as they maneuver their new relationship.

Atticus is not only a physician, but he too as most of the males in this series was raised in a non-loving group home. The females of Quasar are infertile and it was discovered that human females are not only compatible with the Quasar males, but each develop mating mating signs on their bodies. Ashlyn has a genetic disorder and her mother is forcing her into institutionalization. Ashlyn is extremely innocent and naive, so she couldn’t have had a better match than Atticus. Good Sci-Fi romance.

Wow what a great book to sink your teeth into. I loved the characters who are well developed and engaging and chemistry is off the charts making for a great storyline.

I realized in the early chapters that I somehow missed reading an earlier book, however it really didn’t diminish this stories impact! (Note to self: go back and figure out which one you missed!)
Ashlyn lives her life very narrowly because of her disablilty. Her mother watches everything she does and plots to put her in a care facility so that she can be free of the responsibility. Atticus is a doctor on the Quasar spaceship Discovery and prays that his mating marks will emerge before he has to return to the planet to fulfill his duty to his Ermada. This is a lovely story of two people who are brought together and how each heals the other. I loved it!
Atticus is not expected to be mated to a human. What a surprise when he and a lot of the other males on the ship Discovery get mating marks. Ashlyn has a genetic disease that steals her ability to have a baby. The Ashen are collecting human women for the males of Quasars. Atticus finds out that his mate Ashlyn has an illness but still wants her as his mate. Love this whole series. There was plenty of romance, action, compassion and drama, twists and turns, and steamy scenes. I hope there are more stories to this series. I’ve put Pearl Tate’s book at the top of my look for books. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I enjoyed reading this intriguing alien romance. It has an interesting, well-paced story-line & plot. The characters are quite complex individuals with unique personalities & display or experience believable emotional feeling & react according. There are character crossovers but this book can be read as a standalone.
There is: a woman (Ashlyn) with disabilities & unable to experience life to the fullest is offered a chance for a new life which she accepts with great anticipation, a alien medical doctor (Atticus) on board the spaceship (Discovery) longs for a mate & then the mating appear on him, dimension portals, human females, aliens, a Quasar Council, spies, deceit, manipulations, mating marks, genetic diseases, memories, threats, danger, devious plans, adventure, action, drama, intrigue, twists & turns, attractions, happiness, surprises, steamy scenes, contentment & a satisfying happy conclusion. I would recommend this alien romance to people who enjoy reading this genre.
I love this book!!! This is the most original concept of aliens with human mates and the most realistic one that I’ve read. These characters are not the typical women taken to mate with aliens and I have so much respect for Pearl Tate to take this tale to this level. I love that these characters find love and happiness together and respect each other from the beginning. This is a well-written smooth flowing tale that is so on-point that I couldn’t put it down. I wanted more and more even at the end. I can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next. I am an avid fan and am going back to read all the books before this one!!! 5 stars is just not enough appreciation for this book.

This is only my second book by this author and I’m loving her work more and more. This book focused mostly on repairing disabilities in human women that have no chance of a normal life in their current situation.
I thought that Atticus and Ashlyn were a perfect match. She may have been locked in her own mind. but I didn’t think she was thinking as a child. She had normal thought, just not the info to process. Her mother smothered her and kept her in the dark, but she listened and she understood what was happening to her. I don’t feel like Atticus took advantage of her and he was so careful and attentive to her it was easier for her to adapt and as the nanobots began correcting her condition her mind began to catch up on all she was deprived of. Just because someone has a disability doesn’t mean they are simple minded. Some are just trapped with adult minds.
I think Ms. Tate did a wonderful job of showcasing how careful and attentive Atticus was to his mate’s desires and what she needs to feel connected and loved. This was by far my favorite of the to I’ve read and hope to continue on. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
I can not say enough how much I LOVE this series.
Every time i read another book, I not only fall in love with the characters, like Ashlyn and Atticus, I fall more deeply into the journey of Quasar.
I am excited to see how this series will end. Yet, I am in no way ready for it to end. I hope Pearl will continue to dazzle us with these sweet, steamy, sometime very emotional books.
I highly recommend.
Happy reading!

Ashlyn is a human female who is given the opportunity to choose life with her mother or an alien mate. Duh. Winner, winner chicken dinner. The only hurdle hurdle that Ashlin has is that she is not ““normal“. But the nano‘s of course from this alien species according to the series helps heal various diseases that women have incurred from earth. So with that being said, her mate who have a severe doctor is instantly in love with her once they’re made it. The trials and should relations of Ashlyn is like any female who walks this earth. She wants wants specifically desires that most times I may can help provide in order for her to feel normal. Plus she is one of those who have the X chromosome syndrome thinga-ma-Bob that is the theme of this series. It’s very endearing it’s very realistic if you minus the alien profile. But all in all I enjoyed it.I liked how everything had an HEA and even though the storyline had a cliffhanger the romance did not.

This is the ninth story in this series, The Quasar Lineage. You don’t have to read the other stories to understand this one, but it does help and you get to visit with the previous characters and how they all interact with each other. Great world building and fantastic characters. It is funny on how the little grey aliens that humans talked about forever have their place in this series, and of course their names give you a chuckle too, Bill and Ted.
The central part of this series is that on the planet Quasar, there are around ten men to every female, so they have ‘family contracts’ with a female where all the males of that family will become like a husband to that female. She could have many husbands. The males, for some reason or another, cannot perform without an injection of a certain drug. Thousands of years ago, there were even numbers of men and women and they had mates. They would have what looked like colorful tattoos appear on their bodies when their mate was nearby. They would be perfect mates in all ways and would want to be with each other, never separated. They could feel each other’s emotions. But for some reason, that stopped thousands of years ago and with a shortage of females, it was now this reverse harem for their planet. When one of their ships came too near Mars, near an Earth ship that had a human female in it, one of their men got his mating marks. When that man’s brother found out about it, just before he was to be ‘married’, he took off to Earth to find his mate. When he tried to ‘beam her up’ he accidentally beamed up a total of eight college girls, one of them his mate. It seems that there are ‘little grey men’ who are in control of the space around Earth, and they seem to be able to see the future, so they help the remaining girls find their mates. Maybe even more Earth women can be collected for more Quasar men can have their mates too.
In this story, The Ashen have a space ship full of human females. They went to Earth, with a little help from Janette, spoke to possible females that had health issues that would be cured with the nanos from their mates if they choose to go into space to be a mate to an Alien. In their sleep they will be able to make the chose, green to go, red to stay and not remember their ‘dream’. They also get to see who their mate would be should they choose. So when the space ship gets near the Discovery that is around the prison planet, most of the men on the ship and some on the planet get their mating marks.
Ashlyn is a young, early 20’s Earth female who is in the spectrum of Autism. Her mother has been caring for her, if you call finding full time boarding schools to take her. She will be going to the last place, because of her age, that she may never leave there and have a life of her own. She is smart, but just has a hard time getting out what she wants to say. When she has the dream with Janette, she goes for the green choice. She sees Atticus’ picture and she has never seen such a good looking man. She is afraid that once he meets her that he won’t want her. But she goes for it.
Atticus works in the med unit on Discovery. He has been learning about the human body and now has pronounced a few females pregnant. Just after pronouncing another mated couple pregnant, many males start whooping and hollering. They have had mating marks appear on their bodies. When Atticus sees that he has them too, he is over joyed. He had spent some time with his ‘wife’, and it was traumatizing. She is not a kind female and she has 30 husbands. If he didn’t get a mate soon, he would have to go back to her permanently. When he sees his mate, he is gobsmacked! He knows that she has some medical issues, but he knows that his nanos will cure her. What he also sees is that underneath her medical problems, she is very smart and helpful. He has one patient in the med unit, a man who had been fed an addictive chemical for his entire life and apparently was brainwashed and programmed to destroy the Discovery. They find out that there are others just like him on other ships but he doesn’t know who did this to him.
