I thought Hillcrest and the handsome, sexy students in it would be my undoing. I was wrong. This place isn’t a new start. The feud between Sawyer, Travis, and Declan doesn’t matter. It never did. I was blind to it, but what happened to Will and what happened to me has opened my eyes. I, Ashley Bonds, am a liar. These pretty boys don’t know the real me, but they’re about to find out just how … out just how twisted I really am.
Hillcrest was never going to be my end. My ruin has been with me all along, watching, waiting, stalking. A true monster in the darkness. When my past comes to light, everything I built here, everything I have with the guys is over.
The truth is a bitch, and it cuts like a knife in the gut. This is my unraveling.
Skank is a darker romance, meaning there are topics that might offend you. Self-harm, suicide, stalking, bullying themes, and more to come. Be warned.

First of if you have any triggers this might not be for you. Things get a lot heavier as we proceed in this series. This is a true pageturner and I love every moment of it. This will leave you wanting more right now. There is a lot happening. It’s not my fav of the series but still very well written. Beware that this ends in a cliffhanger. If you don’t like that wait until it’s completed.
***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review***
OMG!!! This book just keeps getting better and better with each book and every page you turn! I am seriously on edge waiting to read the next book in this series! Ugh and that ending!?! Candace you are killing me here! I NEED to know what happens!
This book picks up right where book 2 left off. We learn more and more about Ash and her men, but some things leave our brains traveling 1000 miles a minute just to try to decipher what happened or what something could mean. I have so many different theories and I’m sure you will as well!
I cannot wait to read the next book in the series! If you have not grabbed your copy, then go pick it up now.
Candace is a phenomenal writer, she truly does deserve all the stars. But this book for me just fell flat. I try to be as honest as possible with these reviews, but this series is amazing so I had to bump this up.
This one book did not do this series justice. I loved how it left right off from book 2, and the ending was gripping and SUCH a huge cliff hanger. But the middle of this one just was not enough for me. I felt there was a lot of repetition and things we were already told or indicated of them feeling and not enough stuff actually happening here. I definitely feel this book was meant to be a tide over book to the main event so that it helps anyone lost on the finer details and build up of relationships. However, I felt this book and the last definitely could have been combined into one long book.
Truly, even though this book didn’t hit it for me, i will still 100% recommend this series because it is amazing. I can’t wait for the final conclusion! The others have all received 5 stars from me and I am hoping the last will as well.
This book picks up right where book 2 ended. Will and Ash both in the hospital and everyone trying to figure out what happened.
Ash has to learn how to live when you see your past around every corner. More and more as the books go on I am loving Travis more and more….but be careful because the ending makes you question what you might have thought.
I love this series and these characters! This was another awesome addition to the series. Completely took a different turn than I was expecting after the last book. We get to see a little of Ash’s past. There was multiple pov that flowed perfectly with each other. Another cliffhanger that has me eager for the next book. I have some theories about what will happen next. I can’t wait to see what I got right and what I got wrong.
