Praise for the Scandalous Scions series:
If you haven’t started this series, start right now and you will fall in love with this very unconventional family during a time when rules, etiquette and unwritten rules had to be followed or the lack of them would bring scandal and ruin to an entire family.
I love these books. Tracy creates these characters so well and with such care. I really recommend reading this series.
I am overwhelmed by how much I have enjoyed this series so far. It was not superficial fluff as I thought it might be when I began. Cooper-Posey books have touched on so many universal themes.
Her characters are admirable people who love their family and are capable of deep romantic love as well.
I just love this series and the books just keep getting better and better. This series takes us on a romp through historical times, which I love.
If you haven’t read this magnificent series you must do so now; you will love each story, be moved by each of them, fall in love with the heroines and heroes, you will cheer for them and just as loudly boo the villains.
Love this series and have bought them all.
This entire series is filled with so much love for each other and family, that there is no way you cannot be emotionally drawn into each story.

What do i think??
Well now, lets see….
Its a TRACY COOPER POSEY book …Its the latest in SCANDALOUS SCIONS .. it hops between England and the early settlers to the American west..there’s plots , warring Native American tribes , murder, dukedoms in perile , love , trans continental shipping and all sorts of interesting tidbits to keep anyone interested in this book.. but i especially loved Sadie and River’s tale..the choices that are made ,how the survival of both these characters and the way they are separted is just riveting. So much detail , down to the furs in the tipi , it was like a history lesson all rolled into a historical romance …
This author is superb at getting those nooks n crannies filled …
This series is absolutely perfect…and each book intertwines to give you a complete veiw of those involved to make up these amazibg and lifelike characters . WELL DONE!
***I recieved this book in arc format and this is my review freely given***Tracy Cooper-Posey
Queen of Hearts is another Tracy Cooper-Posey book that grabs your heart and won’t let go! I cried through most of the story (which I really don’t like to do but which is undeniable evidence of a great writer) and found the changes from past point of view to present point of view a bit jarring. Nevertheless, River is awesome, Sadie is incredible, the dialogue is realistic, and the plot is well thought out and believable. Bravo!
I wished you would of had his daughters with him at the family gathering and said what happens with them and their mother. River was all about doing the right thing for family ,so even though he did not love their mother he should have loved them.
Set in America and England, this story weaves together the lives of Sadie, part of the Great Family, and River, a Duke who has been raised by American Indians after the death of his parents, over nearly 2 decades. The characters have such depth and the emotions capture your imagination! This is an awesome culmination of the Scandalous Scions series! Bravo, Tracy Cooper Posey!
Brilliant Heart-Wrenching Finale!!
We have come to know and love this family who does not always follow the precepts of the Ton. Our main characters actually meet, interact, and fall in love in America – I love this glimpse into the somewhat harsh yet delightfully simple life they have there. River was raised by Indians but has a pedigree in England. Sadie discovered she was born in America and wants to discover her roots.
River, in reality Duke of Caldwell, must travel to England to undo mismanagement and take his rightful place to save many families. Years later when Sadie returns to visit family, she endeavors to avoid interaction with him, as he is now married. Society does not work in her favor.
Turns out there is danger and intrigue currently and, in the past, which needs to be resolved. A touching and emotional journey for these wonderful characters.
