I really enjoyed reading The Rescue. This is the first book I read by Tanya Eavenson and I was not disappointed. The story line was great and the characters well developed and likable. I was wondering how the conflict would be resolved, and the author did a great job of that without being predictable. This was a clean book with no foul language. I definitely recommend this book and look forward to reading more by this author!
*I received this book in exchange for an honest review
This intriguing story is full of romance, suspense, danger, cowboys, and a happily ever after. Although the story in this novel had a great premises, but it just didn’t quite live up to it. Throughout the entire novel it is pretty straight forward and readers will easily be able to guess what will happen next. The story is also a little bit slow, dragging out and repeating similar situations over and over. After readers get past this and if they stick with it, it is still a fun sweet read about escaping an abusive relationship and a father that can only think about getting rid of his gambling debts and rekindling that romance and true love. This is an enjoyable and easy evening read.
