“If I’m guilty of anything, it’s arrogance. I received my most fervent wish and Victor returned to me. In an odd way, I actually got all I wished for. My family is all with me. Cord is involved with my half-sister, my daughter Cable is in love with a fine man, my and Cord’s son, Trevor is happy with the girl in his life, and Victor now gets to know our son, Arthur. It would be almost perfect if … almost perfect if it were not for the threat that looms over us. Sazare. He’s the ruler of our world, and at one time was my mate. Now he wants me back. Only I don’t want him. Which brings us back to my sin of arrogance. I was arrogant enough to think I could defeat him on my own. Mistake. I do tend to make them and this one is epic. I’m entrusting Victor and Cord with my life and hope that’s not a mistake. If it is, then Sazare wins and all I’ve done up until now was for nothing.” Morgan Windwalker

ARC for honest review with no compensation 4.5 stars
Entrust is tied to the Cotton Creek saga (Shattered Chronicles book 8) by Ciana Stone and keeps you on the edge of your seat with sleep still not an option!!
Just like all the other episodes questions are answered but more questions are on the horizon…old friends return along with new ones we have never met. Wasn’t expecting time travel but since we are seeing other worlds it should have been expected! Up and down…just like a rollercoaster, you don’t know what is around the next corner…
Explosive, intrigue, secrets, romance and so much more!! Can’t wait for the next episode of this amazing series of light vs darkness!!
The twists in episode 8, “Entrust” is a real page turner as Morgan, Cord, and Victor’s story just keeps getting better and better. The three of them go to places that was so unexpected, that I found it a pure delight to read. After reading the previous episodes of their story, who could have imagined that the three of them could be in the same room without someone getting hurt, and even working together? I have always been critical of cliffhangers, but Ciana Stone has outdone herself with ‘The Shattered Chronicles’. I look forward to reading more reveals as their story continues. *I was gifted “Entrust” and voluntarily give my honest opinion based on my reading* 5 Stars!
Eight episodes in, and I am trying to hang on until the end. This particular book was good and held my attention, and I honestly do want to know how it ends. But…..
At the beginning of the series, I was all “Yay Team Cord!” In this book, Cord was made to be somewhat irresponsible and silly, with no self control, who seemed to only think with the lower half of his body. Victor was the sensible responsible one in this book.
Cord and Victor seemed to get in one predicament after another. I didn’t understand why neither Victor nor Cord didn’t think Sazare knew they were there or, why they thought he didn’t know where they were going.
I found the whole slavery part of the story to be really tough going. I had to wonder how much of the book was going to be about the subject. I had to give serious thought as to whether or not I could continue. Luckily, it did not last long so I was able to move past it and enjoy the book.
This book was infinitely more humorous than the previous book. It was more like the two Stooges look for Morgan. Victor and Cord were really funny. I did not expect that at all. Morgan seemed more out of control with her temper than before. Morgan also spent more time in this book having her cake and eating it too. I suppose part of the story is people’s personalities continue to evolve.
More of the group’s past was revealed. The information also included more on how they are connected and the purpose of Sazare returning for Morgan.
The book was interesting, well written, and entertaining. Being perfectly honest, I don’t know how much more I have to give the Shattered Chronicles. Maybe if I had an idea of how many books were left in the series, I could hold on. At this rate, it is feeling like this series is endless.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Book eight in The Shattered Chronicles/The Others series I do not like cliff-hangers and yet this series has kept me wanting the next book as I finish the one I am reading. This series just gets better with each new book. I received an Arc of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing.
Revising Our Plan
This series is killing it. Every time I pick up this book I hate putting it down for any reason. Again it was read in one sitting.
Now I wait for the next installment eagerly.
Going into this one if I thought I had kinda figured it out I was wrong. You will get ensnared right away being titled on a axis it seems half the time. the characters really shine in this one also showing many facets so the elements are big in this including humor. More answers are unfolded in this with the pieces coming together. Morgan, Cord and Victor take through this in full colors. There is definitely magic used in this one with us not leaving anytime soon.
Episode 8 starts where we left off in the last one, jumping right into madness and adventure while trying to find and recover Morgan from Sazare. Morgan has her hands full trying to convince Sazare that she is in love with Victor and will never leave her family but Sazare is positive he can change her mind, they make a deal. Things get pretty rough and mysterious with Asante, Victor and Cord as they go on an unusual journey of discovery. I love the way the characters keeping building and expanding. A very interesting story line which is definitely leading to a powerful next book. Great writing. I was given an Advance Reader Copy as a gift without obligation from the author. I am providing an honest review.
Ciana, you continuously amaze me with the depth of your imagination! I never saw time travel coming with this series but I probably should have since you have already proven to us that anything and everything is possible in that astounding brain of yours!!
Okay, Victor is actually proving to be more likable than Cord right now. Wait, did I just say that?? I have been solidly on Team Cord from the beginning but I don’t like what I’m seeing about him now at all. Hope springs eternal though. There is still time for him to redeem himself, isn’t there…Maybe?? What will Morgan, Victor, and Cord learn while they are stuck in the past that will help them against Sazare when or if they can ever get back to the present? I’m sure the next installment will leave us just as blindsided and give us even more threads to unravel as the first eight episodes have!
Let the roller coaster ride continue!!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Morgan may have just overestimated her ability to control the situation and be in over her head this time. Cord and Victor are going to have to strengthen their newly formed bond if they’re going to get her out of this one. Just when you think it can’t get any more explosive, bombshells start detonating right and left. The story just keeps getting more and more intriguing and other worldly. This may just have become more of a challenge then even Morgan, Cord and Victor can manage. Only time will tell, and I can’t wait, but we’ll just have to stay tuned for the next episode …
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
This was a great book !
It seems that everything was going great for Morgan.
Spoke too soon!
Morgan was not in the clear yet.
Danger looms too close for comfort
What will Morgan do ?
Loved the characters + the storytelling !
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series
